  • "The food was great! The service was not so great. We were one of two guests during sunday brunch and just getting a water took forever! I am assuming they had light staff due to new opening? I hope so, the food is good and we need more local joints like that in the northern burbs. I am a foodie and just moved from Buckhead. I will try them again and hope to get better service."

  • "Tried this on a whim, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, and it was fun being able to order the variety of small plates. Prices are very agreeable, and the ser4vice was very nice. Friendly staff and atmosphere."

  • "Loved this restaurant. Felt like I was in Midtown instead of Kennesaw. Great food, great prices, and fantastic drinks. Had a great time and I definitely will be coming back."

  • "My husband and I love this place! The fantastic food and live entertainment are both a welcomed addition to the number of large chain restaurants in our area! Not to mention that it's a short drive from our home!!! We have visited the restaurant twice and both times we were very pleased with our experienced! I hope that the community continues to support this rare find and that it will be around for many years to come."

  • "Brussell Sprouts, Miso deviled eggs, Shrimp, all teeming with flavors and right-size portions. Very good meal with wonderful tastes involved. Will enjoy this again!!"

  • "Had dinner here on 2/28/14 with our granddaughters and had 6 different small plates and they were all terrific and would highly recommend this great restaurant.Cannot wait to return to try some different small plates."

  • "Great service, cool atmosphere, and overall tasty food. Would return for sure. Only minor dislike was the crimini mushroom small plate. They were watery on the inside and not much flavor. The sauce however, was wonderful. We even ate it on the calamari, which was better than the sauce that came with. Mac and cheese and fried goat cheese were our favorites."

  • "The food was good as was the service. Good band playing but it isn't a large building so it was impossible to hear anything said across the table even though the place was only half full when we arrived. Waitress didn't know much about the menu even though she claimed she had worked there for a while. She was attentive whenever we finished a plate which didn't take long because the plates are incredibly small portions. We had gone for Valentine's Day and I wouldn't recommend it as a romantic spot. I don't expect to see Clark Howard there anytime soon as the cost per bite is pretty high. Still, if you want to go hand out at the bar and listen to some quality music it would be a good night out."

  • "Went for my birthday dinner and it was just OK. Nothing really notable. Our server was good. Food was par. I did like the live music a lot."

  • "This restaurant exceeds expectations! The tapas dishes are uniformly delicious, and the service and attention to detail is top-notch. The bar is a fun section of the restaurant and offers a variety of cocktails and tasteful, lively live music."

  • "I am from Miami and loved the fresh experience this place brings to the table. If you like to go clubbing and want something fresh this is it. After hours is awesome! !!!"

  • "This restaurant and our experience here was very bad and odd overall. We didn't exactly understand the concept...the décor is modern, the music was Caribbean, and the food was all over the place. The restaurant smells very strongly of smoke, which makes for an unpleasant dining experience. The service was horribly slow, the food was not good. I know this restaurant just opened, but they have a long way to go. We won't ever return."

  • "Always love the variety of food that I get here. Everything is wonderful from the deviled eggs to the meatballs. The owner walks around and even works behind the bar sometimes. Great atmosphere for sure, live music with DJ after. Hookas after 10pm."

  • "Overall we had a great experience. The food was excellent. Service was a little slow, but it was Valentine's."

  • "We came in early on Sunday evening, and they were not very busy. We didn't realize it was a Hookah place until we got in and smelled it, it wasn't strong, so we stuck around. Service was prompt and they kept up with refills and such. The food was good, but the only two dishes that stood out were the Chorizo Cheese Dip, and the Smoked Gouda Mac-n-cheese (which could have used a little salt). Even Though it was tapas, I felt the plates were too small to share. The dish prices were decent, but again, would have preferred a little more food on each plate. They have a bar serving beer, wine, and mixed drinks, but they were over-priced, so I skipped it. I will be happy to go back and give it a second chance."

  • "It's in a strip mall so the location and feel is low budget. There was a guitar player doing some covers. There was a smoke smell inside. There are a couple dozen wines between $25-45 and then the list jumps to $100 plus. So, not a lot of in-between wines. The food was OK. The stuffed mushrooms stuffed with stove top stuffing and a dab of what seemed like almost re-heated turkey gravy. They tasted good, but it was definitely stove top. We've had deviled eggs at a few different places recently and these were really fresh, but on par with what you would get at Kroger, not a restaurant where they tend to be a bit more unique or gourmet. We enjoyed it, but it was just OK. Not sure if we'd go back or not but I'm glad we checked it out."

  • "Five 40 was ok, not special- limited menu, small portions for tapas, good wine. Unfortunately, the smell of cigarette smoke supposedly from next door was so significant it ruined the experience."

  • "Really great find in suburbian Atlanta. You don't need to go to Buckhead to enjoy a great meal."

  • "Cool vibe inside restaurant, with nice size bar and seating area in center of restaurant.. Good drink specials. I did not appreciate the live singer on a Saturday night, she was monotone, loud and every song sounded the same. I tried the potatoes, the mac and cheese, meatballs and caprese salad. Of the 4, the meatballs was the worst dish. It was an unusual recipe. The other items fit the bill, nothing extraordinary. We had a reservation and did have to wait almost 30 minutes to be seated but the comfortable seating in the center was cozy and my group of 7 had time to talk together. The food came out fairly quickly and the manager was nice and attentive."

  • "Very good service and ambience but even after $100 bill for two; we left hungry. Go for the proteins for the bigger sized items."

  • "Quiet Wednesday night crowd and 1/2 off Wine made it interesting. We left the food choices to the chef and she made a point to come out to the table to speak with us which was a nice touch. Menu had a few more fried elements with a Southern feel, but overall good. Service was very good and attentive. Chef mentioned a more European change to the menu in the new year which would have me come back. Only downside is a really strong cigarette smell . . dont know if it's from the sports bar next door or something else but needs to be addressed."

  • "The restaurant has recently begun serving Sunday brunch. They have a few kinks to work out, but I think it will be fine. The food was very tasty, and the Mimosas and Bloody Marys were great."

  • "Restaurant had only a couple people while we were there. Food came out quickly. Wine list for bottles better than for glasses. The calamari was very good, stuffed mushrooms were okay, the crab cake was subtle. We enjoyed the crab cake but would have preferred more spice; perhaps a caper/red pepper tartar sauce. The jalapeno slaw was wonderful. Tried the special spanakopita, it was okay. Will likely return to try other items."

  • "The food was beautifully prepared, but unlike Red Sky and other tapas places, the portions do not lend themselves to sharing. Lovely interiors, but there is a smoke issue (waitress said it was coming from the sports bar next door)."

  • "This is a Tapa-based restaurant, so don't expect big dishes. Overall I felt that the food was of great quality and tasted great, but some dishes were just okay. The staff was friendly, but at one time felt a little slow. I look forward to returning and hope that the food slightly improves, as it was on the edge between 3 and 4 stars."

  • "The food was good, but the combination of very unattentive service, missequenced food presentation, and loud "electronic music" made for a mildly aggravating experience (even given the fact my wife and I were in no hurry at all!) I was also not impressed with the wine list."

  • "The young man playing guitar and singing was very good, providing a wonderful atmosphere for a night with friends. The tapas were well presented and they tasted delicious. We especially loved the waffles and chicken, an unexpected and delicious combo. We tried it for fun, and ended up ordering a second helping. We also recommend the shrimp and grits bites, the ribs, and the bacon covered dates. We would go again in a heartbeat! One word of caution, if the front doors are wide open, you may smell the smoke from the neighboring sports bar. The smell of smoke flowing in from the outside became so strong we thought someone in the restaurant was smoking. If they would close the doors, it would have gotten five stars."

  • "Went here with three friends and we decided to share everything. There was just enough of most items for us each to have at least one bite. The okra could have been great except the batter had no flavor at all. Same thing for the Mac n cheese. The Brussels sprouts, crab dip, and mussels were excellent. 1/2 price wine night on Wednesdays for all bottles is a great idea and would get me to come back for that alone. server needs some training -- didn't know much about the dishes or wine and didn't seem interested in doing a good job. I'll go back at least one more time to give them a 2nd chance. The things that need fixing are easily addressed so I truly hope the owner/chef handles it.....then he'll have a true gem on his hands."

  • "When I asked about the cheese plate she had no idea what the cheeses were. Even looked surprised when i asked her. Server also had no idea what the dressing was on the spinach salad. Then just to confirm my suspicions I asked what cheese was inside the date app and she again had no idea. Please note it says on the menu what cheese was in the dates she just never read the menu. She couldn't give any suggestions on what to try. However she was very nice and kept the waters full. I probably won't be back but who knows. The servers need proper training and the food was better than service which is usually sign of bad management. I wish them the best"

  • "Kennesaw needs a place like this! I do hope the servers become a bit more knowledgeable as they seemed to struggle answering majority of the questions asked about the menu (example: what type of cheese is on the cheese plate). However, the food was good and for tapas the portions were generous."
