  • "Visited Fish for the first time this past weekend - enjoyed everything about it - the ambience and decor, the warm and friendly staff and, of course, the food. Everyone in my group of 5 ordered something different and no-one was disappointed. Great variety in the seafood menu. Also have some really enticing non-fish items on their menu but we decided to save those for another time. Each item was beautifully presented with a perfect balance of flavors. One of my pet peeves is over-salted fish dishes, but I tasted many flavors in our table's dishes and not one of them was salty. Really top-notch. Didn't get as far as dessert, but the menu was enticing so maybe next time."

  • "Fish provided an excellent opportunity for romantic dining and conversation. The menu was limited but very delicious. With the exception of large oysters that turned out to be very small and a chef that would not modify the menu item to accommodate a dietary needs the food was delicious and are waitstaff was charming. cocktails were excellent. All the food was very fresh which is so important with seafood. We will definitely make this a stop for all our foodie outings"

  • "I was celebrating my birthday with a friend and it was her first visit. She said she wished it was closer to her house! It is always a great dining experience. The fish is always fresh, tasty with a beautiful presentation. Service was fantastic and she made great recommendations! I have never had a bad meal and have been many times."

  • "We had an excellent meal when we met friends at Fish for dinner. The diver scallops were perfectly prepared as was the fried seafood plate that my husband enjoyed. Our waiter was excellent and really was enthusiastic about the food. The only complaint that I had was the limited choice of wines by the glass at a reasonable price. The prices per glass on what interested me were New York or Boston prices in Marlboro. I would return again, however, as the food makes it worthwhile."

  • "Hosts weren't very friendly or welcoming but our waitress was very experienced and excellent. Appetizers - Octopus & beets - delicious but very small for the price…..Crab cakes too much filler not enough crab but still very tasty. Entrees - Swordfish - cooked just right but quite small, along with a moral of ratatouille, mean for the price. Cioppino - tasty broth but not enough white fish or scallops, plenty of mussels no calamari that i could find, lobster was ok…….also more expensive than the Cioppino at Legal Seafoods and certainly not as good….and this is Marlboro... Wine list - plenty of choice - our Vouvray was just right and sensibly priced. We'd go again, but to the bar for the atmosphere……we'll warn friends about small portions"

  • "Very good food and our server was very helpful and attentive. I had Cioppino and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I'm not sure I'd order it again though because although good, it isn't a meal I'd order repeatedly. My date had the seared tuna which was prepared beautifully. For the price, good quality is to be expected. 'Fish' is more expensive -- comparable to a nice Boston restaurant with specials in the $30+ range."

  • "We live close to Boston and happened to be in the neighborhood of Marlborough. We took a chance, based on reviews and were so pleased. Really beautifully prepared food, not pretentious but lovely. I am allergic to pepper, and my meal arrived pepper-free. That's a sign that they are listening, and know how to cook - rare!!"

  • "We have been going here since it was the "other" Coral Seafood, but then it changed to FISH. It was never really busy and we were always surprised because the food is consistently good. If you like seafood done with some nice twist, this is the place for you. I always get the sesame-crused tuna, and the basket of bread is always fresh. A nice dining spot that used to be a "hidden gem"... now the word is out, so make reservations!"

  • "Ate at Fish D on 3/15/14. Reservations for 6:30 but they seated us early. My bread plate was dirty. Bread tasted like yeast. We would skip the bread next time and order an appetizer. My husband ordered blackened cod over lobster risotto for his entree and I ordered the oatmeal crusted haddock with broccolini. Our meals were delicious and we almost wished they were slightly larger, but we decided to forgo dessert at Fish D and stop at the market on the way home to get something. We really didn't see anything that we wanted off the dessert menu, since their was nothing that contained chocolate, which we both love! Great entrees, but a little pricey and not someplace we could afford to eat at every weekend."

  • "The menu was diverse enough to accomadate all tastes. The food was very good. It's a departure from your standard issue Marlborough food. We had calamari for an appatizer and a cheese plate. Great for our group. I actually did not get Fish at Fish, I had the duck and while it wasn't the best duck I've had it was good. A friend had scallops and I wish I got those when I tasted them. The place had a great atmosphere, we stayed there for over 2 hours eating and drinking and felt comfortable the entire time; there was no rush to turn over the table. The table was circular and seated 5 guys comfortably. I would reccommend this restaurant to anyone."

  • "went with my husband and teenage daughter. It was fun, music playing in the bar and lots of people. Wait staff was great, even the young man cleaning off the tables. He was funny and friendly in a quick and professional manor. Our waitress was great, funny and very good about answering questions about the menu items with warnings about our choices being a little messy to eat, but we were game to dive into lobster shells and melted butter. we let her choose our desserts and she picked things we wouldn't have but so glad we did, fantastic....we will be back"

  • "I have dined at FIsh twice now, first time with a small group (just 3 of us) and the 2nd time with a larger group (8 total). Both times I go the Diver shrimp dish and both times it was wonderful. Everyone love their meal (although there was one disappointed diner, a friend ordered the duck and wasn't really pleased - hard ot tell it was duck and it looked like a big piece of chicken scallopini). The rest of us enjoyed our meals, however. Service was pleasant and timely. Will go again!"

  • "Just found this place end of 2013 - and have been there three times two months later. What a find! Great food, wonderful atmosphere, comfortable seating and attention to customer service. Fireplace in bar, great wine and food menu. Mediterranean soup a fav! Salmon and scallops are fab! (Even tried a special feature of duck there that was quite good.) Not too noisy - easy for conversations - good for all occasions - especially just going out for a great dinner. Pricing not crazy. ( Plus convenient free parking) What's not to love?"

  • "I love the relaxed feel of this restaurant. We have been a few times and taken friends and out of town guests. We have not been disappointed yet. The Diver Scallop dish was delicious, my husband had the salmon and he said that was wonderful. We got free dessert (creme brûlée) because our mussels were a little delayed being brought to the table...barely noticeable, not necessary but very appreciated nonetheless...that was great too. Service very friendly."

  • "We had a delightful dinner experience. The people at Fish are so nice to be with. They are such a well trained staff and do their jobs so efficiently. Fish has created a friendly atmosphere, which, at the same time, demonstrates a respect for the diners' privacy. Each member of staff that we had the opportunity to chat with were knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. The raw bar is always a treat!! The freshness and presentation of our food was excellent. Delicious! Keep up the wonderful work you do. Definitely a neighborhood "gem"."

The atmosphere is elegant but relaxed, the background music doesn't take over and the service is good without being over the top.   • "Been to Fish several times and each time is wonderful experience. The live jazz playing in the background is a fun addition to the beautiful ambience. Service was a bit slow at times (empty water glasses several times), but the server was professional and engaging. Grouper, tuna and fish and chips were all perfection. Capped off the meal with a creamy, vanilla creme brûlée. Bartenders are topnotch - creative specials are a must try."

  • "I was looking forward to taking my husband out for Valentine's Day. Perhaps it was because the restaurant was so busy or maybe the kitchen was having a bad night but my experience was not good. Wine & appetizers were wonderful. The entrée, Coppino, was a big letdown. They forgot the mussels, they loaded the bowl with soggy bread crumbs & the scallops and shrimp were like rubber. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if it had had some flavor. No garlic, salt, pepper, etc. I didn't eat it. Dessert was so unremarkable I can't remember what I had. My husband had the Tahitian Vanilla Crème Brulee. It was bland custard. After spending $200, lesson learned. We won't be going back."

  • "Although the food does not rise to the level of Boston's best, it tries to impress, and impress it does. From the food choices to the wine choices it is well thought out and nicely delivered. I was most impressed by the choice of 3 different types of oysters. The striped bass was cooked just right. The only disappointment was the Creme Brulee which tasted a bit bland. I like mine with more vanilla. All in all it is a final dining experience, with very good service."

  • "Fish had a special menu for Valentine's Day and the food was excellent. I had a half dozen Wellfleet oysters (fresh and sweet), tuna tartare (I could of had three of these for dinner they were so good), and a salmon dish with the fish cooked juicy and tender. We come back regularly and have never been disappointed."

  • "Food was greasy . There was very little lobster meat with my lobster and linguini. It was mostly a plate of noodles. My husband had filet Mignon. There were and abundance of little potatoes, no vegetables and a little steak. I booked on open table and had no idea there was a preset menu with one price for the meal. Had I known this, I never would have gone there. It was a disappointment to say the least."
