The bourbon-infused french toast was the best -- simply mouth watering and delicious. Our view was over the top watching the sun set over the Gulf. The restaurant was beautiful and evidently the management informed all of the wait staff that it was a special occasion for us as they all congratulated us on our anniversary. The food was awesome. Steven, our waiter, was forthcoming with excellent recommendations on everything from cocktails to dessert. They really went out of their way to make a memorable evening for us. We had a great time and will definately return next time we are in the area. It is located in Watercolor Inn, right on the beach. The developers/designers spared no expense when creating this beautiful restaurant. They obviously share the same attention to detail that the chef displays every time we visit. Even though their menu is made up of mostly seafood dishes, they always accommodate my vegetarian diet with a surprise dish that is always delicious. The fried okra is incredible! If you're lucky enough to visit when gazpacho is on the menu, order 2 servings! It is the best I've ever had. Oh, and ask to sit in Brooke's section. The grouper and scallops were excellent with a tuna tartare for an appetizer. The meal was completed with an indescribable chocolate soufflé and a peanut butter an glaze provided on the house thanks to our server who celebrated our engagement with us! Also, a mojito that was tart and made properly with real sugar can.
