The dim sum allowed us to sample several interesting flavors - goat cheese panini, duck confit, escargot rangoon and croque madame... YUMMY! I had the special - wreck fish - due to recommendation by the waitress. Did not disappoint! My daughter had the scallops which were accompanied with grilled watermelon. Delicious! We both loved the inventive ingredients. Will definitely have my husband join me next time - Sunday, Monday and Wednesday are 1/2 price wine nights!!!"

Desserts are great, especially the stunning doughnuts. Very good quality for the price, too. We'll be back next time we're in Charleston for sure!"

  • "The food was really good. We all had fish - the grouper, wreck fish special and mahi mahi dishes were superb. The farm salad with goat cheese spring roll very nice. There were many things on the menu that I wanted to try. They have a dim sum app list and small plates so you could make it that kind of meal as well. We didnt have dessert bc we were so full. The service was perfect. The only thing I can complain about would be the noise level - it was pretty loud."

  • "We took a chance and had dinner at Fish for our last night in Charleston and were we sure happy we did! The menu isn't huge but is so varied that we had a hard time deciding, so our waitress made some great suggestions. We didn't like the first wine we ordered (by the bottle) and they graciously recommended another and brought it with no grumbling (and it was fab). The decor and atmosphere were top notch. The service was impeccable and the entire staff seemed dedicated to making sure we had a great time. Fish is a very special place that I would highly recommend for someone looking for a fancy night out in Charleston."

Food came before having a chance to order a glass of wine, then brought wrong wine. It appeared he knew the people at the table next to us and gave them more attention.. The food was great, the service was poor. Had much better service at the other restaurants we visited that weekend."

The person sitting next to me had been at the Charleston Wine & Food Festival and told me this was the best restaurant they went to. Finally I was able to dine there this week and it did not disappoint. One of the best! I had the tuna tartare and then the flounder. My friend had the special with Triggerfish. Both entrees were excellent. Pricing was reasonable and we were there during half price bottle of wine night. All and all a wonderful dining experience...can't wait to return."

It was quiet without being uninteresting, nice menu, excellent service, reasonable wine list and reasonably priced.   • "Wife and I selected Fish for a pre-concert dinner. Last here several years ago, but last time wasn't overly impressed, hence the lengthy interval between visits. This, though, was an all-around pleasure. A couple of quiet and lazy glasses of wine at the bar, followed by a nice table in a beautiful room, then an absolutely superb dinner. My highlight was the crab curry soup, wife's was the bouillabaisse. Fish is back high on our list for future evenings in downtown Charleston."

  • "Wonderful!! Made reservation for 6 online for my son's 27th birthday. We ordered drinks, appetizers, soup, entrees and every dessert on the menu and the price was good considering how much we ordered. Only one thing was bad. One of the appetizers was burnt but the server was quick to comp it with a dessert when we didn't care for a new appetizer. Everything else was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be back."

  • "Was in town for the week visiting my parents who retired to C-town. Wanted a nice and quiet dinner with my wife, away from our 3yo jihadist princess. With free grandparent babysitting, we crowdsourced recommendations and Fish fit the bill. Why certainly not a "formal fine dining" kind of thing, it is very classy and comfortable. Wonderful departure from the current trends in white linen dining, the french/asian fusion fit the bill perfectly. The dim sum app was great for sharing, and the seafood was a hit all around. The swordfish was a beautiful piece of fish, and my wife will order cioppino/bouillabaisse if it on the menu. A great preparation. Friendly professional service and a good bar as well, this was an excellent choice."

  • "With so many "southern cuisine" places in Charleston, it's nice to find something like Fish offers -- Asian fusion, French and seafood. The dim sum appetizer was really tasty, the wine list French and California, service competent but not high end. Overall the food was very good. My fish was a tad overdone, as were the accompanying vegetables, but it was very good. I'd recommend this for anyone wanting a break from the ubiquitous fried green tomatoes and shrimp and grits."

Both of us had a wonderful experience, our service was very good. Sarah helped us make some choices with our dinner selections, and she was right on with the menu. We have already recommended Fish to our friends in Mt. Pleasant, and my wife has definitely put Fish on our list of restaurants to return to. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, the portions of food was just right for us, and the desert was to die for. We are going back soon!"

  • "Fish is a place of contrasts. The bar/lounge area is definitely more bar than lounge but the bartender knew how to make a proper drink. I think his name was Chris? For an appetizer we had the dim sum. Hard to pick just 4 but all were outstanding. I ordered the fish of the day naked and it was superb. The freshness of the fish came through. My husband ordered the grouper and the sauce base had way too much vinegar. We did not stay for dessert or after dinner drink because of the noise level. The room is beautiful and elegant and then LOUD rock and roll music."

Service was top notch even with larger tables near us being cared for by our server.   • "Our experience at Fish was somewhat disappointing. I expected a lot of seafood dishes given the name, but there weren't too many. I ordered the 5 tapas dish, which included a tuna roll and a duck roll. I was expecting something like an asian spring roll, but instead it turned out to be miniature sandwiches, and all 5 tapas came together on a tiny tray, about 2 bites each. We sat outside, which was quite nice, and the service was very good."

  • "Have been to Fish before, for lunch, and enjoyed it, particularly sitting in the small outdoor patio. Dinner was disappointing. The tile fish special was so heavily salted, it was inedible for someone who uses little salt. My guest's scallops were tasteless. We left half of our dinners. On the positive side, our waitress was very attentive. Without asking, Fish gave us a free dessert and took half off the dinner bill. "
