Great fusion dishes and unique variety of surf and turf to choose from (despite the name). As someone who enjoys traditional European (French, Italian, etc) and Asian, Fish was a pleasant surprise. Holds it's own with the best of the upscale restaurants in Charleston.

Fish was a great new find for us. The food was fabulous. The presentation was excellent and the combination of flavors and textures made the dining experience wonderful. Our waiter was extremely helpful in recommending and describing menu items and the variety of tastes. His wine recommendation was perfect. Loved the ambiance!

This is a wonderful seafood restaurant with a varied menu (stuffed quail and others). The fish was perfectly cooked and presented. The bar provides some wonderful cocktails that are unique. The prices are quite reasonable for a high class restaurant. I highly recommend Fish!

Fish offers creative dishes that draw on American and Asian cuisines. I had scallops served with coconut rice, grilled watermelon, and blueberry sauce. It was spectacular! My dining companion has a garlic sensitivity and they could not have been accommodating in providing alternative sauces. We also happened to arrive on an evening when they were serving half price bottles of wine. This was my best meal in two weeks of dining out in Charleston! Entrees run $20-$30. Happy hour at the bar offers $4 well drinks, wine, and beer.

I had the 72 hour short rib. Super flavorful and extremely tender but the meat still held together unlike typical braised short ribs. The scallop was also a hit. The crab spring roll and grouper were misses. They seem too fishy. The crab spring roll was too wet also.

Love dim sum appetizers and dessert offerings. Great preparation and presentation. Entrees of lobster and vermillion snapper delicious too. Unique and delicious cocktails also. Indoors, I prefer larger yellow dining room to long smaller narrow one. Chef Romo offers innovative eye candy for the taste buds.

We were very happy with our visit. The staff was very attentive, the food was, as others have said, both creative and tasty. We finally decided that we were going to sit French style, i.e., next to each other instead of across the table from one another. Three other couples immediately did the same as we shared conversation over dessert. While we rated the restaurant as excellent overall, it was a bit too pricey, at least in our view.

Good was very good, very creative combinations bordering on slightly weird. Unfortunately, I think the French chef thinks he's still in Europe because the portions were quite small for the "large" prices charged. 4 people each had an entree, only one person had a dessert and we had the cheapest bottle of wine on the menu. The bill was $250!!!

My daughter and I were treated to a fabulous and inventive meal at Fish. The dim sum allowed us to sample several interesting flavors - goat cheese panini, duck confit, escargot rangoon and croque madame... YUMMY! I had the special - wreck fish - due to recommendation by the waitress. Did not disappoint! My daughter had the scallops which were accompanied with grilled watermelon. Delicious! We both loved the inventive ingredients. Will definitely have my husband join me next time - Sunday, Monday and Wednesday are 1/2 price wine nights!!!

The food was really good. We all had fish - the grouper, wreck fish special and mahi mahi dishes were superb. The farm salad with goat cheese spring roll very nice. There were many things on the menu that I wanted to try. They have a dim sum app list and small plates so you could make it that kind of meal as well. We didnt have dessert bc we were so full. The service was perfect. The only thing I can complain about would be the noise level - it was pretty loud.

We took a chance and had dinner at Fish for our last night in Charleston and were we sure happy we did! The menu isn't huge but is so varied that we had a hard time deciding, so our waitress made some great suggestions. We didn't like the first wine we ordered (by the bottle) and they graciously recommended another and brought it with no grumbling (and it was fab). The decor and atmosphere were top notch. The service was impeccable and the entire staff seemed dedicated to making sure we had a great time. Fish is a very special place that I would highly recommend for someone looking for a fancy night out in Charleston.

Food came before having a chance to order a glass of wine, then brought wrong wine. It appeared he knew the people at the table next to us and gave them more attention.. The food was great, the service was poor. Had much better service at the other restaurants we visited that weekend.

I had heard about this restaurant when I was on a plane to DC. The person sitting next to me had been at the Charleston Wine & Food Festival and told me this was the best restaurant they went to. Finally I was able to dine there this week and it did not disappoint. One of the best! I had the tuna tartare and then the flounder. My friend had the special with Triggerfish.
