Our first visit to First & Sixth was for brunch on Easter, and it was perfect! The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet, even though the restaurant was busy with other diners, and our food was delicious--everyone loved what they ordered, and we all ordered dessert because it sounded too good to pass-up. Our waitress, Carly, was exceptional--she was personable and very attentive. We can't wait to go back and would highly recommend the brunch!

We ate dinner here the last night of our honeymoon and it was a great pick! We loved the food and the wait staff was very attentive. The owner seated us himself and stopped by to check on us halfway though the meal. The food and drinks came quickly but the check did not come until we requested it.

Three of us tried the Sunday Brunch, and two of us had issues. I ordered the Smoked Salmon and Fontina cheese omelet, which was loaded with fresh, not smoked salmon which has a much stronger flavor I don't care for. If they didn't have smoked salmon the menu should not have described it that way. My companion's Eggs Benedict was dry because the yolk was overcooked, not runny as it should have been. She asked for more hollandaise sauce because of this. Our server didn't know what the Taylor pork roll was and had to go ask the chef; she should know the menu before serving people. The grits I opted for, however, were the best I've ever had anywhere.

Good food, great service, attentitive and friendly server. We were there before a show at the Jefferson Center. Our server put our leftovers in their cooler and we came back for after dinner drinks.

I had dinner at First & Sixth during the week with several colleauges from work. I ordered their filet. The filet was very small ( for $35). When the steak was brought out, it was over cooked. Upon the second try, the steak was under cooked. They could not hit the temp. I watched both of my colleauges finish their meals without having anything to eat. When I spoke to the mgt., they wanted to argue with me about the temp. of the steak. If you are going out for steak...do not go to this restaurant.

Had an early dinner, so restaurant was not crowded. Service was great - helpful and friendly. All 4 of us had delicious dinners - 2 very tasty Prime Ribs, 1 "perfectly cooked" fillet and some fabulous fish and pasta. My second trip - will be back soon. Really good food. Nice atmposphere. Highly recommended.
