"Very good food. The service was outstanding! They are right near the music center and the Disney concert hall so they asked us if we had a show to go to and were very good about getting the food out very fast so we had plenty of time to get to the show. Even if you are not going to a show in the neighborhood I would definitely go back, Mary's Chicken was outstanding."

"We were dining before the Theatre & they were very in tune to the timing so that we had plenty of time to get to our show . The food came out quickly & was delicious! Waitress was very nice. I would definitely go back again :)"

"It was our first time to First and Hope and we will definitely go again. That said, however, there were four of us...three who LOVED our food and one who said later he should have sent his back to the kitchen, but didn't because he didn't want to spoil everyone else's experience by waiting for him. The three of us who loved our food had lamb shank, salmon and the chicken pot pie. The one who was very disappointed had the burger. Though the meat was tasty the bun was very stale. I had the lamb shank was was delicious! We go often to downtown for dinner and will definitely go back to F&H thinking it was an anomaly that one of us had a bad experience. It truly is just across the street from the Disney Hall and the Music Center!"
