This wasn't the first time we have been in for brunch, and it won't be our last. The menu is great and the prices cannot be beat. The brown sugar syrup is like nothing I have ever had before. From the moment we were greated by our hostess, Kennedy to the end when we paid our bill, the service was fast and friendly. Kennedy was very informative and set the tone for the morning. It was incredibly busy but we never felt it, our server Linnette met all our needs and our coffee was never empty. We recommend Firestone to all our friends.

The meal was great and we certainly received our money's worth of food. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel important. I would certainly go back again and will recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a great dining experience.

There was a lot of interesting food there. It is different from a lot of restaurants that I had been to before this. I actually got two corn cobs and I got some donut holes for dessert. So it is worth trying out if you want to experience something different.

My boyfriend and I went there for our 2 year anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised by the quiet atmosphere in what seemed to be a busy restaurant. We ordered the Thai Chicken with Rice for our appetizer and it was amazing. We completely devoured it within minutes and were feeling really excited for our main meal. I ordered the Taco Salad and my boyfriend ordered the Steak Sandwich. The steak was slightly rarer than he wanted but it was delicious nonetheless. I enjoyed the Taco Salad but next time I would order something else for sure. We decided to have a dessert after being recommended the donuts by our friends and we were absolutely in love. I almost couldn't decide which dipping sauce for the donuts I enjoyed more...

Waitress was less than efficient. Wrong wine, wrong salad dressing and mushroom gravy not delivered with meal and advised would be coming soon????? Service was also a little slow with no sign of waitress to address why things were taking a little long.

  • noisy, expensive

First I noticed the noise then I asked for a quiet table and was seated by the door. To add to this there was a loud table beside us that had several children the parents kept talking to, I cant understand why a restraunt that has a menu so expensive and pay for quality ingredients all wasted because you want to chuck it down so you can escape the kids racket. Why is it a restaraunt cant, for all their customers ask for parents of unruly children to control them because when I am trying to spend a nice time with my wife but cant and I just dropped nearly 100.00 I walk away feeling ripped off. To be honest the food was average and did not live up to the menu. Our server was awesome. I am not sure it was cost for value due to the noise

  • Busy and noisy!
    OpenTable Diner Since 2014
    Dined on 8/21/2014
We were very glad that we had reserved online ahead of time as when we arrived at the restaurant there was a long line. I had written in my reservation notes that we were 2 adults with 2 small children plus a baby who needed a high chair, and it was all ready when we arrived. The meals were all delivered in a very timely manner. Our server was alright, nothing too spectacular. It was very busy and noisy so there were a few miscommunications. She also looked a little frazzled and overwhelmed, but we understood!

  • Great Food, Poor Service.
    OpenTable Diner Since 2014

The food was very good. The meals were delicious. The service lacked in that the server came to our table to take our order, check on us once after we just began eating. She did not deliver the food or dessert. The restaurant was very loud and although I had requested a quiet location, there was a screaming baby close to us for most of our meal. Also, another family was sat at the table behind ours and the children were yelling. The mother played a movie on a device and the volume was very loud. No effort by staff to rectify this and the manager on duty seemed to not care too much about our issues. No solution or compensation was offered. The owner/manager was not available and we were promised phone contact. Return to Firestone not likely.

  • disappointed in the huckleberries

We had a nice table and very pleasant service. But we were disappointed in the food, which is normally pretty OK in this place. Most of us chose items from the special huckleberry menu. I selected a chicken salad, but asked for no chicken but some extra goat cheese instead (because I am vegetarian). It consisted of bland uncrispy lettuces with a tiny bit of cheese and huckleberries. The colleague who ordered the same salad with chicken had a tiny bit of chicken buried under the lettuce. One of my colleagues ordered the huckleberry bison meatballs. They were bland and she didn't even eat them all. The huckleberry eclairs for dessert had NO huckleberries! When we complained about that they were taken off the bill, which we appreciated.

We have eaten here many times and normally food is good and service is great. But this time we sat and watched our drinks cool at the bar for 10 minutes, and then watched our server stand and chat with friends instead of offering dessert or bringing the bill. Probably a one off, but a frustrating dinner. And the server was training a new employee, hope this doesn't catch on!

I was in Lethbridge for a few days and this was recommended by my hosts at the B & B I where I was staying. Service and ambience was SUPERIOR. Food not so as chef decided to cremate the elk sausage I ordered. Everything else on the plate was great. I would definitely have dinner here again.

    Disappointed

My husband and I booked a table on line. Apparently they only keep 2 or 3 tables per time spot using this service. This is the third time we have tried this restaurant and probably our last. The food was very good. The server was very good. However, this the third time we have gotten the feeling that they really don't care if we come or not. We were shown to a table bordering the lounge. My husband asked for something a little more quiet. We were told that a) the main part was noisier, and b) there were no servers where we wanted to go. However, not 5 minutes later they seated someone there when the gentleman refused to sit down in the table next to ours. Great place for groups but not for an intimate dinner.
