"The service was friendly and fairly prompt. It was a busy night so there were a couple of times we had to ask for a round of drinks. In addition to that the food took awhile to come out and when I received mine (the all you can eat fish fry) my whole plate was lukewarm as if the food had been sitting in the window for 10 minutes or else I just got the stuff that had been cooked awhile ago. On the other hand, my finacee's cajun pasta was pretty good. The menu isn't anything out of the ordinary so we got what we expected. I would return on a less busy night and order something different. One huge plus is they have TVs all over the place for sports fans."

"Great value for the money. We have driven by this place so many time and said, 'we need to try that place', and finally last night we did. Heedless to say, we were pleasantly surprised. The two of us who had burgers were not disappointed. My mom had the tilapia and was very impresses. Drinks were never dry and the food wad piping hot. Its not a fancy place but if you're looking for quality bar food as will as some good entrees at a great price, this is place to go."

"Food at the Fireside is an excellent value. I had the butternut squash ravioli with sage and browned butter. Large portion and half the price I have paid elsewhere."
