Food is top-notch, and our servers have always been great. Can't recommend it highly enough. Our only disappointment this year was the lack of game based dishes. The Trout was great. Instead was treated to families with kids running all over the dining room. I can think of a number of easy solutions. First, no children after a certain hour. Second, set one of the back rooms for families with children to enable the rest of us to enjoy the peace expected when making the reservation.
I won't go back until I see and advertisement addressing addressing the children issue.
Service was excellent and the food was good.

The food was very good, the service attentive and the rustic ambience of the lodge at the base of the slopes made for a perfect evening as we ended our ski trip to Deer Valley.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFireside DiningAlways one of out favorite places to dine in ParkCity/Deer Valley. We always make it a point to come here whenever we come out to ski, especially if we are with people who are new to PC.
The food is delicious, and the service is outstanding. There is a wonderful selection of food, no matter what your food preferences are.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and gracious. All tables are in a room by a hearth, so the ambiance is very cozy. The tables are not too close together, so you can actually sit and talk with everyone at your table.
