Osso bucco, chicken Vesuvio and a couple of raviolis were to write home about- large portions that everyone enjoyed. Really well-made dinners and very good service. Good timing on the courses, attentive yet unobtrusive wait staff. We ate outside, which I think is really nice. It was not noisy outside, and not all that crowded on the Friday night we visited. Everyone enjoyed the dinner. Not sure why Firenze has some hit n miss reviews for service etc. Perhaps there were training issues. We recommend for celebrations or other (not inexpensive) meal. I had scallops and shrimp over risotto.....perfectly done scallops and nice juicy shrimp. Best risotto I've ever had...creamy and perfectly cooked....just a tiny bite to it. Also had caesar salad equally good,just right amount of dressing. Portions were big enough to have the next night at home. Service was quick and attentive. It's close to home and is a real gem! As we entered we were greeted with a "Happy Anniversary" and after we settled into our cozy table our gracious server also wished us "Happy Anniversary".
