Our menu is built on 500 year old recipes from Florence. It includes homemade pastas, dry aged meats, imported cheeses, an extensive wine list and a full-bar that delivers a range of cocktails.

  • "As foodies we thought we knew all the cool restaurants in LA. Well we were wrong! I found Firenze Osteria on Yelp. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. The restaurant is beautiful; the layout & decor create a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. We shared the Burrata Salad (Outrageously delicious!) and the Spinach & Ricotta Dumplings. I highly recommend both. My friend had the Braised Short Ribs and I had the Chicken Fussili Pasta. We just kept saying "Wow!" Dessert? We shared the Vanilla Creme Brûlée & the Flourless Chocolate Cake. There are no words! Firenze Osteria has got these classic gems down! Your eyes will roll to the back of your head in delight. If you expect excellent service & food then Firenze Osteria is it!"

  • "Was going to a show taping at 1pm at Universal (which was just a few blocks away) and was able to enjoy lunch here when they opened at 11:30. It worked out perfectly! My friend and I both shared the Crispy Duck salad and the Risotto, both very good. So many things on the menu sounded great! Their wine BTG choices were nice and reasonable too. Food quality was very good and the ambiance excellent also. Would recommend!"

With each and every bite, our taste buds danced as if they were dancing upon the clouds of Heaven. We devoured (in the most lady-like way possible) ever single morsel of our seven course tasting menu. Firenze Osteria lives up to the slogan "Love. Food. Misbehavior." as there was plenty of all three!"

  • "This is everything one could expect from a restaurant where the chef and his staff really care about dining, both with the ingredients, menu choices and presentation. It's also a fine business casual type dining experience for that special occasion. And, it won't break your bank account! I highly recommend that you give them a try. We did for dinner one night and were delighted at what we found! We can't wait to get back there and try the Chef's Table on the next business trip to LA."

  • "I have been going to this particular restaurant since 1995, it was previously Barsac. Initially when it changed names (not owners) the service was pretty awful. I have not gone back in several years. Recently I have gone twice and both experiences have been terrific. The servers were wonderful, the food totally yummy. I will go back again and again."

Deserts were good---but one needed to be sent back because it wasn't as advertised. Would go back again in hopes that everything would be running on all cylinders."

  • "Had been here for lunch but never for dinner. Negroni cocktails to start with Antipasti plate and Calamari and Zucchini Fritti. Drinks and appetizers were delicious. Had the pork chop with homemade gnocchi in truffle oil, pork chop was a very generous cut on the bone and was finished in a balsamic reduction, it was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. A reasonable wine list, not spectacular but something for everyone. Drank a Summerland Syrah that was very nice. Had the Bombolini (mini-doughnuts) with 3 dipping sauces (lemon custard, chocolate, and raspberry), there was enough for everyone in the group to try one, with a glass of Vin Santo for dessert. It was quiet when we got there but was boisterous when we left. All in all a great meal."

  • "Firenze Osteria has been our favorite place to spend our Friday nights for two years now. Chef Ken has never disappointed us. The warm, friendly crew of chefs, servers, hostesses...owners...are what give this elegant eatery it's "family" feel. Recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I was beyond impressed and relieved to see that most items on the menu are gluten-free. There are so many positive things I can say about this place (impeccable service, amazing consistency, extensive wine list, superb mixologists, ambience) but the food is why it is the place I take my family, friends, and business associates on a frequent basis."

  • "My experience was not what I thought it should be. I was expecting some pretty good food 50 percent of the meal was bad. The shrimp appetizer was burned. The parmesan polenta was delicious as was my husband short rib. The salad with the home made cheese. The salad was good but the cheese wmessyeally bad. I mean not edible. The skin was attached kind of waterie slimy . The overall experience was really disappointing. I would not recommend this pplace. Sorry Fabio"

  • "This was our second visit, and the experience was equal to our first. Had the Valentine's Day Prix Fixe menu and every course was excellent. The Beet Salad was delicious; the Strawberry and Champagne Risotto was a surprising delight; the Pork Cheek was truly delectable; and the Red Velvet Panna Cotta was the perfect sweet ending to a memorable meal. I had the Boar w/blueberries the last time we were here, which was also amazingly tasty - this Chef has a particular gift for pork, and for incorporating traditionally sweet flavors into savory dishes with mouth-watering results. Firenze Osteria serves creative, truly delicious food - give them a try, I know we'll be back!"

  • "My wife and I dined at Firenze Osteria as an early Valentine's outing. We had a great table and our server (can't recall his name at the moment) was top notch. I ordered the corn chowder as an appetizer (excellent) and my wife had a pancetta crusted burata dish. The portion was a bit small for the price, and she said it was "just okay". Both our pasta main dishes came, and we both noticed they were VERY heavy on the cream. My wife asked the server if all of their pastas were that cream-heavy and he replied we just happened to order two of their heaviest. The pasta was decent, just not as good as were hoping for. We'll give it another try and ask for dishes that are less creamy."

  • "Whenever I go here, I can count on the food being fantastic and this time was no different. I chose the Chicken Marsala and it was great. Not all soupy like you get many times. This was two well proportioned tender chicken breasts, some big slices of mushrooms all on a bed of spinach. It was fantastic."

  • "First of all charging me $5 bucks to park to come in and drop $150 bucks for dinner is an insult, that is just unnecessary. Service starting with the hostess to the wait staff and bus people, is friendly and fast. The specialty martinis were amazing! Food is just ok. I want to rave about it but I cant. I ordered the Rabbit Ragu It could have been squirrel, donkey, chicken I could not have told you it had no flavor at all. The Calamari in the cioppino was cut so fat that to crew them was like crewing on a old band aid . The food lacks seasoning was the general consensus at our table of 3. This is a perfect example of the front of the house (service people) are keeping the restaurant alive not the food."

  • "We went with another couple and were underwhelmed with the quality of the food. The front dining room was quite appealing, but we were put in the back room because the front was full. We made reservations, we should have gotten a better table but whatever. The back room looked like a banquet hall. None of the stylish ambiance. The wait staff was professional and energetic, but the food was a disappointment. The poached pear salad I had was limp and drowning in dressing, the much touted short rib ravioli were stone cold, the white sauce was tasteless and cold and the meat filling was dry and tasteless, nothing was savory. The hazelnut dessert was room temperature and gummy. And the messy Balsamic Martini was a confusing, sticky disasaster."

  • "Our party of four enjoyed the evening, and were agreed that the food was of good quality, and the risotto with sausage was outstanding. However, the bread was rather tasteless and the wines by the glass are very much on the high side and my first Merlot was very astringent and the second, at a higher price, was just barely satisfactory. One member of our party thought the service was not good with long waits for the server to show up."

  • "I had the Short Rib Ravioli and it was delicious. The meat was flavorful and tender and the sauce was a perfect compliment to the pasta and meat. We had the calamari appetizer which was plenty to share and a salad which was also large enough to share. I've been to this restaurant several times and I'm never disappointed."

  • "We "found" Firenze almost by accident and were thrilled to realize that it is walking distance from our house. The food and service were top-notch. Most pastas and all sauces and dressings are made in-house. Wine list was impressive and very affordable. The service was what you would expect from a Michelin star-rated restaurant, very professional but not at all formal/stuffy. The bar appeared active and they had a sporting event on TV, but the bar is behind a glass wall and the noise did not effect us in the dining room. We had no complaints whatsoever and were in fact very impressed. Can't believe this has been right under our noses and we never realized it. We will definitely be back again and again!"

  • "I've been here a few times and have always found its best attributes to be having an age-appropriate bar scene and seemingly a good place for group/family dinners. This time I went to meet and catch up with a friend. We both had appetizers and steaks with a martini. The food was well-prepared, our waiter was friendly and although it wasn't the most amazing meal I've had in a while, it was reliable and a good choice for our evening."

I came here when it first opened and remember being blown away by all the dishes he made on Top Chef... the pastas, the roasted chicken... all the dishes were Americanized and smaller. The wine list shrunk to a miserable mini version of what it used to be. This place is fine, not great, and still very expensive."

  • "We went to the restaurant because we follow Chef Fabio on Home & Family (Hallmark) and thought it might be fun to dine at his restaurant. Food was delicious! Service was great! Restaurant so clean and beautiful! Staff all were so accommodating and pleasant! The braised short rib ravioli was to die for - so delicious! Loved the tiramisu (which we saw how he made on the tv show) but the chocolate flour less cake was even better! They were so kind to our daughter - 10 years old - and filled her special fettuccine request! All around a great experience!"
