  • "So amazing I ate there 3 nights in a row. I am from out of town and every time I am in Vegas I go to Firefly at least once."

  • "We booked a reservation for 6:45 and got right in. It was nice when we first arrived but within a short time it got crazy busy and the noise level made it very difficult to hear and speak and there were just two of us."

  • "The food was excellent a well as the ambiance. We enjoyed every dish basically and the service was very good. The staff helped with everything and was on point even thigh they were fully booked."

  • "Great list of tapas. Veggie empanadas and fries were my favorite."

  • "Great food and we enjoyed our friend's Bday! Service could be little better but I had a great time anyways!!!"

  • "Firefly has an extensive and creative tapas menu. The wine list is very nice and well priced. Be forewarned, the tapas are not as small as you might find in a typical tapas restaurant, closer to starter size. With lists for cold, hot, seafood, etc. it is very difficult to keep your selection under control!"

  • "Every time we come to Vegas we try and hit up the Firefly. I've been to both locations - the Paradise road one is the best. There were 5 of us eating and we were seated promptly and courteously by the hostess. Our waiter was great - attentive, with good recommendations. We ordered ordered about 12-14 dishes and not a single one disappointed. I especially liked the scallops and the bacon wrapped dates. My dinner mates really liked the paella as well, although I did not try this myself. I also must comment on how reasonably priced this restaurant is - $120 for 5 people? Not many restaurants in Vegas this good in this price range! In all, there is really nothing but great things to say about this place. I would highly recommend it."

  • "Was very hesitant to eat here again after all their issues they've had. Even though the food still tasted good, there were a lot of issues they need to work on. We were welcomed to our table by plates being dropped and broken pieces flying at us, but received no apology. The service continued to be sub-par throughout the evening."

  • "The food and drinks were good enough. The Sangria is tasty but dangerous! Sneaks up on you fast! The place was super loud so don't go here for a romantic date! The worst thing though was that we sat for a good 15 minutes before anyone came to our table and when someone did, it was the bus boy and not our server! The table next to us ended up leaving because the server was taking too long. As someone who works in the industry, it's completely unacceptable for it to take 20 minutes just to get water and place our order."

  • "I went to this restaurant because of the high reviews, but after leaving I was a little let down. I ordered four tapas - jamon with manchego, heirloom tomato salad, gazpacho, and chicken skewers - but only the jamon w/ manchego and the heirloom tomato salad were very good; the other two were just okay. The menu has a good selection, but the tapas are split between a few traditional options and a few Americanized plates that just aren't tapas, they're apps. Service was very good throughout the meal. The restaurant has a nice layout and atmosphere except for the loud club music playing in the background. This is a tapas restaurant, not a dance club - turn down the music a bit and play something that reminds people of the food's culture."

  • "The food plates are amazing! But the only thing is that the food sizes can vary for portions. They do not list how many a particular plate serves so it's best to order a few then order more as the night continues. Amazing service! The staff works together very well to make sure all your needs are met! Definitely a place to eat at least for one of your nights in Vegas!"

  • "I wanted to try a tapas place in Vegas and my girl suggested this place according to the online reviews. The place is close to the Strip and priced well. The restaurant is a bit noisy. Our server did have some good suggestions. But she disappeared during most of our dinner. I didn't mind, since we were busy catching up."

  • "Holy cow! Went to Julian Serrano looking for Tapas and found it, but you have to pay 14$ ish for one order! So expensive. We ended up going to Firefly on Paradise which was also wonderful and fit our budget. The food was actually pretty fantastic. Scallops. Dates. Salad. Tomato basil soup. Sparkling sangria. Totally amazing!"

  • "Loved theb food chicken empanadas were my favorite followed by shrimp ceviche. Blood orange mojitos were perfect. My only gripe is i made this reservation over a week before arriving and our table was directly behind hostess station with a view of their backs and the opening and closing of the front door and people using rhe restroom. Not good planning on restaurant part considering i took the time to book a reservations. I would return because the food was fab"

  • "Forget the bad things that where all over the internet about this place. This restaurant serves honest tapas at a reasonable price."

  • "We went here with a group of 7 as part of a bachelorette weekend. We were given a large table in an alcove, so we almost had a private dining area, especially when we closed the curtains! (Were we supposed to close them? Maybe not. But they didn't seem to care?) We were one of the rowdier bunches in there, but the staff was great and took excellent care of us. It did take a little long for the first plates to come out, but our server saw that we were without food and checked on it immediately. Once the first plates came out, the rest followed very quickly. Everything was delicious, and seemed to come out of the kitchen as soon as it was ready, so it was hot and fresh at the table."

  • "Food is awesome, small potions on some items, others not. The bacon wrapped figs were to die for and the ribs fell off the bone. Watermelon Mojito was great choice to go with food selection. Open until 2 am and at 1 the place was busy. Lots of large parties, couples and singles. Wait staff very attentive. Carlos our server rocked."

  • "This is my favorite restaurant to visit while in Vegas. I've referred fire fly to many different friends and no one has ever been disappointed. I only wish I had a fire fly in my home town. It would be my go to restaurant allll the time! I've never been disappointed!"

  • "Firefly grew too fast and their quality got away from them. NOW with one location, the food was wonderful; the service attentive; and the ambience more relaxed. The new location is larger and more open, with loads of tables and a bar where you can actually sit down and have a drink or dinner for one. .We highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates and the Serrano sliders (the pink in the filet slider is the Serrano ham). Wonderful experience for a casual dinner or pre-Smith Center show."

  • "Having lived in Spain for a couple of years, I seek out exceptional Spanish cuisine. Firefly is such a terrific find that I seek it out each time I am in Vegas. The stuffed dates and the pulpo asado are a must. The croquetas and albondigas are rich and flavorful. Firefly fries and patatas bravas are perfect complements to any dish. Buen provecho!"

  • "Frequent visitors, 1st time new location. 7:15 reservation, patio seating. Only two tables occupied, but took 15 minutes to seat us. Disorganized. Eventually led to the patio and told we could sit wherever we wanted. It was quite a few minutes before anyone appeared to wait on us. After that it got a little better. The food, as always, is well presented, and very delicious. Our favorites bacon-wrapped stuffed dates, tuna tartare, shrimp ceviche, tierra y mar skewers, and lamb chops. This time I had the Pisto, huge serving, delicious, but not quite as fancy as most of the fare. Had hoped to have scallops, too full after Pisto. Sorbet of the day excellent! Red Sangria, usually superb, was watery, but it was +100 degrees. Still great choice!"

  • "Mediocre food with fair to poor service. Everything on the menu looks good but most things fall short."

  • "I've loved going to FireFly for years, but have not been to Vegas in 2 years so was very surprised to find the new venue. Tho larger than the old site, I found the feel of the new location to be very much in keeping with the old location. Wonderfully, the new location, being larger, means the long long lines waiting to get in are less of an issue. The menu is as good as I recall... choices up and down for all tastes, including vegetarians, and those who avoid carbs. Still very loud. The restaurant could benefit from some noise dampening foam or cloth on the ceiling!"

  • "I loved this place so much that I came back two days later! The food is wonderful. Notables were stuffed dates, spicy shrimp, filet mignon, apple salad, and even the bread and butter! The service is good, and the ambiance is nice. Great for a date or lunch meeting. Go with lots of people so you can get more dishes to share. I've already recommended this place to friends. I wish they would open a restaurant in Los Angeles so that I could go more often."

  • "The menu at Firefly is deep enough that we ate here on consecutive nights yet only had one dish- the merguez- on both nights. We could go back again without duplicating, too. Some of the dishes are a bit conservative- I like my patatas bravas to have a bit more bravado, for instance. The wine list contains some offbeat choices, many available by the glass. Wine prices are quite reasonable. Firefly also understands the Spanish schedule- dinner at Midnight is no problem."

  • "My SO and I love this place. Lots of food choices, great drinks, and fantastic prices. Its always busy and a bit noisy, but that's to be expected. Came here on a hot, Las Vegas Monday night and was expecting it to be cool in the restaurant, but it was as hot, if not hotter than it was outside. Really made the meal unenjoyable. Hoping the a/c was just broken temporarily, because we do intend to go back, but not if its like that every time."

  • "We were very much impressed with Firefly. We ordered 4 tapas and the mixed tapas. The bacon wrapped dates are fabulous. The tortilla was like a Puerto Rican grandma would make. The patatas bra as were indeed spicy, but yummy. The salmon toasts were marvelous as well (so says my co-diner. I couldn't have due to gluten issues, something they don't specifically accommodate. There are plenty of things to choose from that are naturally without, though). If you ask, they will bring olives to your table. They are pitted, but some of the sweetest most delectable things I've eaten. The paella was on pointe and traditional, earning praise from my co-diner as authentic. Sangria was close, but missing a little something."

  • "We were quickly seated & the waiter came right over, food came out quickly. Food was not great, however. For instance, the shrimp tapas were cold at the tails, which is a giveaway that the restaurant is microwaving the food."

  • "Wife, daughter & I had dinner at Firefly on a Tuesday evening in June. Seated promptly with quick service. The dishes were 5 excellent and 1 just OK. The 2 desserts were both good. Service was paced well. The stuffed dates were the best of our 6 small plates."

  • "My cousin & I tried this restaurant thanks to a groupon and good reviews online. It didn't disappoint. We got a table outside and split a large pitcher of delicious sangria. The hardest part was picking 4 tapas to try out of the 60 - everything sounded so good. Our server gave us good recommendations and did a wonderful job of stopping by the table when we needed something but staying away so we could talk and enjoy the meal. Their men's restroom was under construction so men and women had to take turns using the women's restroom. That was a little annoying and there always seemed to be a line."

  • "We always come here every time we are in Vegas. The new location on Paradise is much better than the old location which felt a little cramped. The selection of tapas is good, providing several options for anybody's preferences. Service is fast once you place your order and as always, the quality and flavors are fantastic. I can't say enough about the stuffed dates and shrimp a la diabla (hint: dip the bread in the sauce. They serve some of the best sangria I have ever had. If sangria is not for you, then you must try the berry infused vodka - you won't be disappointed."

  • "I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and will continue to go there every time I visit the Vegas area. I love that it is off the strip and easy to access. The prices are great and the food quality is excellent! We tried the lamb, filet, shrimp diablo, all of which were excellent. The garbanzo beans, stuffed dates and peppers are great too! Honestly you can't go wrong with anything! They also have a great wine list with Spanish, Argentine wines as well as American ones! The ambiance is very loud, but there is also outside and bar seating. It is a nice casual place to go get great food!"
