Excellent tasting menu, and two of us chose one of the Sunday night burger specials. We lingered over dinner, and enjoyed the atmosphere. Jim was the consummate host, and Jake a thoughtful and attentive waiter. I was not impressed by the Crab Cakes, they were a bit fishy, it was very subtle, but enough to turn me off. The Tapas Trio, incredible, it's one of the reasons I will be back. The wine list is excellent, it's great to see a restaurant serve quality wines at a decent price. Entrees, my wife had the scallops, which she enjoyed. She did get a bit of sand in a couple bites, but they were tasty nonetheless. I had the Chicken Fried Short Ribs, which were not good. It was dry/overcooked without much flavor. The service was impressive. I expect we will give Firefly another shot, but it's certainly not tops on our list right now.12/16/2012 12:00:00 AM
