"AWESOME place!!!!! Just love everything about it! Just happened to have a little mix up this particular evening on entres, but no biggie and the first time EVER I've had this happen. They were great about it and worked hard to make up for it. Just a great great place we're lucky to have locally!!!!!"

"Firefly is a true gem for Central Illinois. Our party of six was promptly seated. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. The entree selections were great. Our group covered three of the specials. The monkfish, sechzuan pork, lobster pot pie and Montana mignon all tasted as well as they sounded in the menu. The wine list was a pleasant surprise and the craft beer offerings covered a modest range of reginal brews. We have thoughly enjoyed everything we have ordered at Firefly over the last six years."

"We plan our trip home so we can stop in Effingham, Illinois and have dinner at the Firefly Grill. The food is outstanding and creative. The service is also outstanding. This restaurant is a true gem and worth a stop for great food using local ingredients with a creative menu."

"The Firefly grill provides a unique level of food in the area. We tend to dine there for special occasions. The price is high but we are never disappointed in the incredibly well prepared and creative dishes they serve. It is on the highest end in this area."

"We love going to the Firefly. We are on a tight budget, but when we want to save for a special night out, we go to the Firefly Grill. we enjoyed one of thier $5 lunch specials last Sunday and look forward to going again this Saturday. We are also headed back for our wedding anniversary next month."
