We only ordered 11 mixed drinks and beers - no wine or bottles and the tab was nearly $500.00 without tip. It's nestled in the heart of a gritty neighborhood, just down the street from Trinity College. The neighborhood is a busy one for locals and people not used to that kind of scene may be put off by the location, but just go... it's a fabulous place. Our family of four had Sunday brunch and everything was beautifully presented. The ingredients are fresh and the combination of flavors exceptional. We had the Eggs Benny, Waffles and the Burger, all cooked to perfection. The wait service was really outstanding. The place is located in a marginal to crummy neighborhood. The valet parking and monitoring of cars therefore is a necessity. This creates a bit of confusion re. the target audience and the what the owners are trying to accomplish. Is this an effort to help revive a neighborhood, are you targeting an upscale professional crowd or are you hoping to draw families from the neighborhood? Twice we had to ask other support staff to get the attention of our waitress. Once to return and replace a port (which the restaurant gladly did) and the other to correct an error in the bill (which was also taken care of with an apology). Other than those two instances the service was great. Generally I wish that our waitress had paid a little more attention, but perhaps she was busy as the restaurant filled quickly on this Tuesday night. The food was excellent. We had the duck and pork chop. The duck was the most tender and moist duck I have ever tasted and the pork chop was quite good as well.
