We have been twice now for the Thursday night specials and brought friends because it is so consistently good. We don't hesitate to recommend it to our friends. Keep up the special Thursday nights! Service is excellent and like that the chef delivers our entree personally each time.

As I write this, this place is just finishing its first season at Stratton Mountain. They have pretty good food and the prices are not too bad considering where it is located. Lots of first year growing pains, but I dined there about a half-dozen times because of its convenient location. My wife is fond of the ahi nachos which are tasty and the portion generous. I have had the ribs, burgers, and a dish called Mountain Bleu which were all tasty too. The salads are huge and also tasty. I like the staff - friendly and courteous. The chef comes from another place that has a longstanding reputation for good food at reasonable prices. I'll definitely keep going back.

Nice restaurant in Stratton Mountain Village. Nicely decorated with beautiful wood furnishings & 'fireplace' in the bar area. Our group ordered starter salads and the veggie potstickers for appetizers - all delicious and fresh. For main course, we ordered the Green Curry Grouper, Sesame Ahi, NY Strip Steak, and Classic Burger - all very good - excellent flavors and sides. Only issue was ordering 'medium' on the meat came out more 'medium rare' than desired. Overall - very good

It’s a new restaurant at Stratton. Limited selection of appetizers, soups, salads at up to $12. Entrees include few selections seafood, port, chicken, and beef at up to $30. Decent wine list but pricy by either glass or bottle. Good chicken and ravioli dishes. Good thin crust all-veggie pizza. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Very busy and somewhat noisy during peak hours.

Just like to say that it was a great experience but there were some bad things. For example our waiter was Mike. When we asked our the pork was his response was "ah it's okay" . That didn't really make me feel like ordering that dish. But I ordered it anyway. When the pork came out, I thought like I was eating a leather shoe! Mike came over and asked us how our food was. I said it was a little bit rough. He said " okay" and then he smiled/laughed. I thought that was pretty rude. My friends asked how is was and I told them not to go there because I don't think your waiters have the training. So they are not going there in the near future. Overall I thought it was a good, but you need a lot of improvement to stay open!

After years of struggling with bad dining in the Stratton Village, Firetower has finally come along and made it work. The food was fresh and fabulous with something for everyone. Our cocktails were delicious and different. I only wish I had a reservation sooner in the season because I will definitely be a regular now.

The appetizers were scrumptious, however, the entrees were very disappointing. I would recommend having drinks and apps here only. Dining room was cramped and noisy --- not suitable for a dinner for two.... When the door to the restaurant opened, the entire dining room received a blast of cold air... We checked out the bar after dinner and that area was much more intimate and appealing than the main dining room.

The Firetower has it figured out: good range of menu options, so you can order bar-type food, pizza, small plates, or a high end entree. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, even though the place is very busy on weekends. Bartenders remember their patrons, making us feel at home. A lone diner can usually find a place at the bar and have a nice meal and pleasant conversation. This is the place we take our visiting friends because the food is good, they try to source locally, and there is good variety.

This is the third time back to the Fire Tower and I have the Maryland Crab and Corn Chowder every time. It is outstanding! There are only a few restaurants on the mountain but finally this one gets it. They make you feel welcomed, great food with fresh ingredients without having to go rob a bank to pay for it. They touch on all the food groups each having a great different twist to them. Will be back to try more.

We were able to snag a 5:30 dinner reservation (we were very last minute!) for our party of 4. The bar was very lively with the apres-ski crowd, but the dining area to the left of the door was great, not too noisy. We loved the Ahi tuna appetizer. Our service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was great. What a nice step up from pub food without breaking the bank or getting too fancy! It was tasty and interesting, and wonderful for a family.

Way more than a Manhattan Burger without the taste. The "runners" forgot our second round of drinks so we got out cheaper Than expected .

I want to love this place and a part of me does. However, been there twice so far and both times - they were out of the specials. A little disappointing but everything here is really delcisious. The second time our meals came out before our appetizer (it came out in the middle of the meal). Even still both the entrees and appetizer were phenomenal. The staff were super friendly and apologetic (kind of). I like this place and I really like the food. It upsets me I can't give it more stars but it's difficult when I have yet to try a special. Ultimately this place is great, obviously busy but for good reason. You won't be disappointed.

I would give this an overall ZERO starts if I could. The hostesses know nothing about customer service & the waiter/bartender tried to pass off a 1/2 full martini glass as "the right amount". The food is actually pretty good if you can deal with the rest of the nonsense. Wanted to sit near friends who had a table for 5 but the hostesses refused DESPITE us both having 545 reservations and place was empty. Then they proceeded to kick us out (we were 2 adults 2 kids not rowdy people) around 730 saying there was their next reservation. I've never heard of having to leave your table in under 2 hrs. Plus they served me Cosmos that were literally only 1/2 full telling me that the glasses were big (they're not!) & that's the right amount.

This restaurant was truly incredible. We ordered so many dishes because they all looked so unique and delicious that we wanted to try them all! The Apres-tizers (cute nickname!) were delicious. They take all the classic favorites but put a unique twist and they are amazing. I would highly recommend the shrimp, wings and pot stickers, all delicious! The menu has a great variety which makes it great for large groups as there is truly something for everyone! I had the Mountain Bleu which was a filling, hearty, delicious pasta that had a unique vermont flare with short rib. The drinks were delicious as well. All in all, this place was great and I am looking forward to the next time I can go back!

Bar was great. Good bartenders and a hectic scene of friendly folk. Food was a bit of a let down. My steak was a 1" slab of fat and grizzle, and pretty much inedible. My friends steak "special" was special similarly cheap cut of meat at a magnificent price. Maybe the rest of the menu is better prepared, but do not bother ordering the steak... Service as good, in that it was unobtrusive and same time attentive.

We were hoping to have a nice meal, and maybe that was our mistake. Fire Tower seemed to deliver some good pizza and basic foods to the families with all the kids running around, but failed on delivering the higher end options on the menu. The ahi tuna specifically, while very fresh, was ice cold in the middle, seared on the outside with some sauce ladled on - accompanied by tasteless vegetable sauté and sticky rice - not worth the time to eat. Stick to the pizza.
