  • "I came to Virginia Beach in March for the weekend to cheer my friends on as they ran the Shamrock Half-marathon. We stopped at Fire & Vine the night before the race. The appetizers and mixed drinks were very tasty. I had the beet salad which was amazing. The pizzas however were average. They don't have much of a vegan selection for entrees. If you are a meat eater, this is the place for you."

  • "This is fine dining, yet relaxed. Outstanding glass wine "cellar", if that's your thing. (it's not ours, but we're still impressed). We had a pleasant, intimate Valentines dinner, undisturbed even though there's an active bar across the restaurant. The service was impeccable (Evan). We waited a bit longer than usual, for our order, but it was a holiday rush. Also, it is pricey, but we got what we paid for, meaning the highest quality. We'll be back."

  • "Our appetizers and salad were good, however, the entrees were poor, especially for the price. My girlfriend ordered the Rib Eye, which turned out to be the worst steak either of us have ever had. This was not only the toughest (cooked Medium-Rare) and chewiest Rib Eye we have ever had, this was the toughest and chewiest steak, of any cut, we have ever had. I ordered the stuffed quail entree. At first glance, the entree appeared to consist of a ton of food. The quail contained almost no meat. The mass that appeared to be the quail was little more than stuffing wrapped in quail skin. I wouldn't pay $10 for each of these entrees let alone the $30-40 per entree they actually cost."

  • "We had a very nice meal and out waiter was too notch. I do think since it was valentines weekend yet had more tables then they could handle. It was not too crazy but we had a reservation and when we arrived on time we still had to wait 10 min for our table and there really is not a place to wait at so you stand in the door way, which is rough on a cold night. We did sit next two a table of four that was very loud, but that is not the restaurants fault. The food was incredible though. We will go back."

  • "Was disappointed they no longer have their roasted vegetable salad bar, however I can understand the expense of keeping that up. It would be nice if they could ad a roasted vegetable salad as a menu item. Though the hamburger was good the cook might watch cooking temperatures closer. The burger was no where near medium, even medium well would have been a stretch."

  • "I came here for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend, and because of two accidents on the highway, we were 20 minutes late, as well were some of their employees. My boyfriend had to fight to be seated at our table, although there were about 30 tables open. As soon as we sat down, we were told we had to leave by 6:15 because they needed our table for another guest, though it was already 5:30. They rushed us, putting the check on the table before I had even gotten to try my food and basically ruined the romantic evening my boyfriend and I had planned for night. I thought that was extremely bad customer service since the employees even got their late due to the accident and there were open tables."

  • "Spent Valentine's Dinner at this restaurant with my beautiful wife. The place is very open as you can see the chef preparing food and the bar scene. Portion size was great and very unexpected for the price of each entree. The steak was cooked to perfection and potatoes were warm which we all know get cold very quickly. Extensive wine list and good draft beer for the palette of your liking."

  • "My wife and I love this restaurant! We go as often as possible but not as often as we like. We haven't visited in the past year but got the opportunity to on Feb 13th. The food was still outrageously delicious, the service top notch and the wine flights paired perfectly with our meals. We had our 2 year old daughter with us and the staff accommodated her as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to cut their fillet mignon with a fork."

The charcuterie plate was delicious, and I really liked their version of shrimp and grits! And when they brought out our dessert of smore's bread pudding in the little skillet.... oh my!!! It was out of this world. Great service, awesome atmosphere, can't wait to go back."

  • "This place is hit and miss. The environment was decent, not too loud but very energetic. The serviced sucked. The waitress was rune and always on the run. It took us an hour and a half to get our entrees and when we got them the pizza was starting to get cold and my steak was dried out,(i ordered medium well) But on the flip side the the drinks from the bar were really good. This was my experience but yours maybe different. Try it out. Oh and it isn't cheap by far!!"

One of the members of our group was a vegatarian and the menu was limited for her tastes. The quality of food was very good, for the most part, particularly the skewers.   • "Much nicer inside than out. Located in an upscale strip mall. Only thing needed is a big fireplace. Wine list could use more California Napa and Sonoma wines. Love the beer and wine sampling option. Wife had salmon for entrée and she loved it. I had the Short ribs and they were very greasy and fatty, but good flavor. I would order something else next time. Was my wife's birthday and nothing special was offered. Waiter was very attentive, great service overall."

  • "As first timers we were very pleased to find such a quality/up scale restaurant in our area. The menu was very diverse but focused mainly on chicken, steak, pork (awesome chop!!) rather than seafood altrhough there was salmon on the menu. The flat bread opener was terrific. We split a wedge salad and we glad we did. Very large...and very good. The wine flights were super as was our server (Tina) who guided us through the menu expertly. Super spot!! We shall return."

  • "In the spirit of VA Beach restaurant week, we decided to try Fire & Vine for the first time. WOW!!! We had reservations, and unlike some spots that still make you wait, we were seated immediately. The place is BEAUTIFUL - great decor. Our server was fantastic - attentive, knowledgable and friendly. The food - wonderful! The chicken skewer was SO good (and I'm not even a fan of chicken), the smoky flavor was prominent and enhanced by the smoky, sweet sauce. Salmon paired with sweet potatoes and apples? Who KNEW that would be so luscious?! Loved the creme brûlée almost as much. We're looking forward to our next visit!"

The hostess greeted us with a huge, friendly smile. Our server was exceptional. The food was incredibly delicious and presented very well. My wife and I shared a bottle of wine that was recommended and that too was perfect. We will definitely keep Fire and Vine in our rotation."

  • "My family and I always use Restaurant Week as a chance to try new local restaurants, and we have found this one to be a favorite over the years. The food is phenomenal, and the wine selection is impressive. The service was a little lacking, but I find that to be the case during restaurant week at several of the restaurant... don't know if it is because of the bigger crowd or the discounted prices, but it was forgivable considering the quality of the food."
