  • "We often bring our visiting friends to Fire + Ice. It's a novel place and everybody likes the experience. If you don't mind getting up, choosing your own exact food choices and being entertained while you watch someone else cook it, then by all means, go enjoy the show that becomes your meal! Our kids have enjoyed bringing their friends for years."

  • "I was staying in Boston for the weekend and searched around for a good place to eat. This came up and seemed interesting so I gave it a shot and I was bot disappointed. I honestly dont think anyone can complain about the food because basically your the one who chooses every ingridient that goes on it. Everything is fresh and from scrap. Great place if your a healthy or lean eater because all you need to do is not add any condiments. Overall it was a nice experience the cooks are very friendly and young and waiters are nice as well. Will recommend for anyone looking for a different experience."

  • "We brought our girl here on her 11th birthdayknowing she would have a good time. We have been here before sans the child and never really had a great experience, Priscilla changed all that she was excellent, she made every aspect of our dining experience wonderful. From explaining the process to singing happy birthday all by herself, our daughter felt like she was the only person there. Thank you very much priscilla, we will be requesting her next year"

  • "Everyone was from out of town and really enjoyed the uniqueness of this place!!"

  • "I was pretty disappointed in this place. Perhaps I'm spoiled in the food department, but I don't tend to think all foods should be STIR-FRIED and heaped into a giant pile of indecernible goop. Although the ingredients seemed ok - it just wasn't for us. It was loud, too dark, and looked more like a feeding station ... Buffet."

  • "Great service, as a mother of a kid with allergies I really love the idea of bringing you the allergy meal to your table. So I didn't have stay away from my group as I have to do in the Cambridge location."

  • "It's a great place to experiment with food. I like combining a bunch of different foods together and see how it tastes. I like how you can watch them cook it in front of you and plus sometimes they let you throw the cheese on your burger! Great place to go with a group of people. I recommend it! It's quite an experience and one that everyone has to try out."

  • "Even though we had reservations, we waited for almost 20 minutes to be seated. Then when we were seated and ordered drinks 15 minutes after we ordered them we were told that it was really busy and it was going to take a while before we got our drinks. 35 minutes later we got our drinks."

  • "Was our first time visiting and it was definately above expectations. Enjoyed everything and was great for my husband who is vegetarian cause he had many options. Our waitress Betsy, thankful.we got her. She is definately an asset to your business very cheerful personality. When we entered we weren't expecting the noise so immediately I thought nope don't want to be here, just got off the plane would prefer something quite but Betsy was beautiful and definately changed my mind. Between the staff and the chefs I can see why this place would be doing brilliantly."

  • "What's the point of making a reservation, when you still have to wait an hour after to be seated? Very upset with how the dinner went. Waited over 30 mins for a drink at the bar, bartender was rude and ignored us."

  • "Always enjoy Fire & Ice but I probably wouldn't go there again on a busy Saturday night. Not a relaxing place at all, too crowded and noisy. I don't like feeling stressed worrying about when I will be seated even though I made reservations. Staff is nice though so that did help."

  • "Food was okay, the waiter didn't even explain how to properly do things. He never came to check on us. Upon arrival our bowls were dirty, and even a strand of brown hair was found in my friends bowl. The lady who we would ask help for, her attitude was horrible. Just overall bad experience. Wouldn't go back ..at least not the one on Berkeley st in Boston."

  • "Loved it! Great food! Great service! My only complaint is that I booked a 5:00pm reservation and when I got there 10 min early I was told by the hostess to wait and she'll bring us up. We waited almost 15 min and meanwhile other people where let up stairs ahead of us."

  • "If you're looking for fine dining in Boston, definitely look elsewhere. But if you want to try something new and fun or you're out with a group and want to feed all your picky eaters, fire+ice is an excellent choice. Very affordable too for an all you can eat style, for the two of us plus a soda the bill was $43.00 plus tip. I would absolutely go here again and recommend others try it out, again coming from someone who works in a restaurant too."

  • "Had a surprise dinner here for my mother. They made her feel extra special that day. She enjoyed herself that's all it matters to me. This is a great place to be, but an advice to you akk don't mix the sauce with your food cause it will burn."

  • "Fire & Ice is a great spot for an "occasion" dinner. It is a very upbeat atmosphere. The employees are enthusiastic and engaged. The only downside to our experience was our seating arrangement. We were a party of 18 and were seated very close to the grill area and were bumped several times by diners waiting for their food. Also having 9 nine diners sitting on a very long bench behind tables was a bit inconvenient trying to get up and down for food. Otherwise, the food was great and service was good. We would absolutely return, but would request a different seating area."

  • "This was our first time, and we had a blast. It is fun to be able to choose from such a huge variety of items, adding a little or a lot. whatever we choose. The chefs were friendly and entertaining. Ever at the table, my family was tasting each other's combinations. My personal favorite was soba noodles, shrimp, garlic, scallions, water chestnuts, and Yakitori sauce. WOW! But the ability to make whatever you want is exciting. The only thing to watch for, is that sometimes the grill backs up 2 deep. We just relaxed and waited for the line to to down before going back for more. Definitely a place to enjoy"

  • "I reserved a table for 5 and had to change the reservation a few times but it still worked fine it was all of our first times there and we did really enjoy the simple service and buffet style where you grill it all in the middle! The grippers were fun and the food on point!!! I got a cheese burger and it was heaven!!! Don't be afraid to get seconds, thirds, and even fourths!!"

  • "My mouth was watering when I was waiting for my food to be cooked. The chef was nice and kept our group company while waited. Read the brunch menu while I was eating, we'll be back! I'll be honest, they hype the place up too much. With all the stories I didn't know what to expect. But it's still a good place, you're in charge of whats on your plate."

  • "Since I was in high school I've loved fire and ice but it really isn't all it's cracked up to be. The Decor is blah and our booth was right next to a service station so we got to hear the servers complain about how they should be cut because of how slow it was all night. The grill guys are always fun and make the restuant most definately! I think maybe the restuant needs to change up the menu or a great idea maybe have papers on the table with suggestions to make certain dishes. Maybe I'm just growing out of the restuant. Great for families and kids!"

  • "Arrived to my 6:15 reservation and told there were two large parties which would make it impossible to seat us upstairs for hours, and a 30-45 min wait to sit in the bar area downstairs. We were seated, and the service (drinks, check, etc) was slow and overall not good. The line upstairs for food was so overrun with the two huge parties we didn't want to go back up and wait AGAIN. "

  • "We had heard only good things about fire and ice but as soon as we walked up stairs we couldnt even hear eachother talking. It was very very crowded and they kept seating people where people were already sitting. The food was okay but not $20 a person. They put bacon on my cheeseburger without asking and the alfredo sauce on my pasta was very bland. "

  • "This place was a bit noisy and not that tasty. Not matched the ratings I hAve seen to chose this place. There are much better places in Boston for the money. A no go."

  • "the food was so so. unevenly cooked and not very flavorful. the noise level way too high. perhaps you could alternate energetic music with some moment of silence so that people can hear each other when chatting around the table."

  • "We booked a reservation on a referral from a coworker. We were in Boston for business and pleasure. We arrived on time (actually early) and we were greeted and seated right away. It was a birthday weekend for our 7 yr old and wanted to make it special. The staff was absolutely amazing and the food was delicious. The athmosphere was eclectic, and the head cook at the grill made a point to ask if there were any birthdays "in the house" and my daughter raised her hand. He gave her the VIP treatment and took her in the middle of everyone and everyone sang happy birthday to her. She was THRILLED. A wonderful place to eat, and take your family. Thank you very much and we will certainly be back, and certainly recommend it to many people to come. "
