  • " Outstanding restaurant with great service;menu selection large and varied; fish and pasta spechal"

  • "Overall I like this place Ben there several times. The food is always good. But it is a bit cramped and loud. Also the waiting staff is a bit ruff around the edges bit well trained. If you like that packed small high end manhattan feeling restaurant this is for you. For me I live in summit work in Manhattan want a bit more space and a quieter environment when I go out to eat. "

  • "Fiorino always delivers. The menu includes homemade pasta, venison, seafood and an abundance of appetizers. Our appetizers were excellent. The risotto was somewhat dissappointing, and my husband's side of mashed potatos was barely a 1/2 cup, which for an additional $6 on the entree we anticipated would be more plentiful. The dessert delivered! Excellent choices and quality. The ambience is a lot of fun. Very energetic and generally a 40+ crowd. "

  • "If I find a Zagat rated restaurant on a deal site like Living Social, I always purchase it. I was very excited to try this place and had heard great reviews. Appetizers: Oysters and Almond Encrusted Calimari - both very good. Entree: Grilled rack of lamb special. Very tasty and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Skipped on dessert, but had a glass of the house pinot grigio. Would definitely come back for a special occasion dinner. Smaller portions than expected, but great presentation. Service was great!"

  • "I'm new to the area and tried Fiorino for my birthday dinner. Terrific food, sensitive service, lovely ambiance. I would hearituly recommend."

  • "This was our first time at Fiorino. We received a gift card and thought it was a perfect time to try it. My daughter and I were surprised to see how crowded the restaurant was for a Thursday evening. We were early for our reservation, but were still politely accommodated. The homemade foccaccia bread was awesome. We shared a wedge salad, which was delicious. My daughter had the rigatoni quarto formaggio special as her entrée, and I had the scallops over black ink pasta. It was very good, just a little salty. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu, which was (disappointingly) served in a little glass. The cappuccino was very strong. Overall, it was a very nice experience."

  • "Everything was great! After a large private party left we were quickly seated and served very quickly. Once drink orders were taken we were not rushed to order dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the salads."

  • "I've been to Fiorino before several times and I will keep coming back. The food is very good to excellent every time. I had the spicy chicken which I love and my wife had the snapper which she said was exxellent. The calamari appetizer is very good. Salad was very ghood. The service is great. The waiters are friendly. The management is accomodating. No problems at all with this place."

  • "We have been back many times, and always have a memorable experience. The decor is opulent without being over the top. Noise levels are usually reasonable during the week, but can be a bit loud on buisy nights and weekends. Service is always courteous and attentive, but not overbearing. The food quality generally ranges between very good and excellent.. I ordered an appetizer portion of their penne (with puttanesca sauce). It was one of the best I have had. I had the salmon for my main course which was equally excellent. My wife and friends ordered the soup of the day a fennel soup with crabmeat, which was very good, but the portion was a bit too small. They ordered the tilapia, which was superb. Overall a great experience."

  • "The many places I have been across the world; it's a pleasure to know that I have a great place in Summit! I frequent Fiorino for the exceptional food options both at lunch and dinner. The excellence of the staff and the warmth of the management/owners!! Bravo don't change a thing!"

  • "We began frequenting Fiorino when it first opened. Twenty years on, it remains our go-to place, whether it's to entertain friends in high style or as our destination on "Heck, let's dine out tonight" evenings. You're not going to partake in any food trends, except maybe the Tuscan one that emphasizes excellent ingredients carefully prepared."

  • "I loved this place but the restaurant was divided into two parts. The front looked quiet and spacious and so did the back but in between was this strip of tables parallel to the bar. That part (which is where we sat) was overcrowded and busy. We could hear the conversations from both tables very close to us. Also, we were seated parallel to the end of the bar which was where the waiters were so, even though it was not on purpose, the waiters were on top of our table. We were sat and out in less than an hour with a full meal because of how attentive they were. I was hoping for a nice romantic evening out with my wife so that was not what I wanted. However, the pasta dishes were excellent. I would go back but pick my table."

  • "Our first time at Fiorino. Food was very good and service was outstanding.. A bit pricey (It was a $150 evening for 2 of us including the tip and only one of us was drinking and we shared a dessert), but well worth it. Only negative was it was so crowded the noise level was a bit high. But I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to enjoy a good meal."

  • "The entire experience was frantic, to say the least! We were seated, ordered drinks, but at least two tables that sat after us were well into enjoying their drinks and still no drinks for us. The waiter was brusque, and unapologetic when we reminded him. Then we ordered the food. The restaurant was packed, so wait time was not unreasonable. But when someone at the table asked for mignonette sauce for their oysters, it took 15 minutes to come. The rest of the meal was uneventful, but if you wanted to catch a waiter's attention, good luck! They are literally running everywhere, yet unavailable to you. Noise level was also unacceptable. I'll wait until I'm over this meal before I try it again."

  • "Have been to Fiorino a couple of times - food is very good, service is usually very good (our waiter this trip seemed a little distracted) - do feel that it is over-priced but after all, it is in Summit so I think that contributes to the higher prices. Very crowded and not much space between tables. Overall, I would recommend it but be aware of the cost and close tables."

  • "I've been to this restaurant 3 times, and would definitely come more often if I lived closer. I've never had a meal that I didn't enjoy, and the service has always been top notch."

  • "We have dined at this restaurant before and we have always enjoyed it. It is a great local place and is always crowded. Even though you may have a reservation, plan on waiting at least 15 minutes for your table. This happens every time we come here. But, with that being said, the food and service is great. We will be back."

  • "Service was great. Food was great and the atmosphere was definitely energetic. The food portions were no outrageous, just right. The wine list was great. Had a great evening for two. Will be back soon."

  • "Everything was fine. I wish that they had their own parking or valet service. Roamimg the streets to find a vacant spot is a deterrent."

  • "I have been to Fiorino's many times and have never been disappointed. Always changing menu items, along with their normal fare. Service is not rushed and it was a very pleasurable dinner. I strongly recommend it."

  • "I've eaten here numerous times. With groups, family and as a couple. I've always enjoyed the food. Portions can vary, but I've always enjoyed what I've eaten. During our most recent visit, the wife was disappointed with the appetizer portion and the taste of her dessert. I was happy with my meal, but had to agree with her on the small appetizer. Would still recommend."

  • "While it's a local hot spot that everyone seems to recommend for Italian food in Summit, I personally did not feel it played up to its name. Food was great but didn't blow us away. It was VERY LOUD and difficult to have conversation. There was an issue with our order and they did do a good job correcting it, but overall service was a bit slow."

  • "I have eaten here many times and I was somewhat disappointed this time. The service was okay. I ordered a fish dinner and asked for no coating , no butter. The fish was in a francese style batter... but was delicious.. just not what I wanted since I am dieting. My husband ordered black linguine with hot peppers. Was so hot that he couldn't eat it. Enjoyed the company and the atmosphere... just a little disappointed in food. This was a first .. so I am sure we will be back again."

  • "If this restaurant was in the Midwest it could get away with the quality at a high price. It's not. The food was extremely salty and only moderate in quality. The portions are tiny. My husband ordered a roasted eggplant appetizer and it was more like 2 slices of tomatoe, 2 slices of mozzarella and a small slice of roasted eggplant on top. They try to pass off their high wine prices as a quartino aka ~1/3 of a bottle. Sorry, it's a generous pour and the wine selection was small and not high quality. In fact, my $15 quartino was some of the worst wine I have had. There are much better options in the area with just as nice of an atmosphere and MUCH better food."

  • "I made reservations very reluctantly for Valentine's night because we had a baby sitter. I had gone there for lunch for the first time a few weeks before and really enjoyed the menu. The Valentine's menu was prix fixe - $65.pp. Well worth it. It was extensive and delicious. The service was excellent. Even though it was crowded, we did not have to wait for food or service, and did not feel rushed out at all. We truly enjoyed our night. It is a great place for a special dinner. By the way - their house wine by the glass for $9 is so worth it! It was very heavily poured!"

  • "Enjoyed an afternoon with girlfriends at Fiorino recently. Food choices were varied and tasty. Service was unobrusive. All in all, a good choice and location near train station a plus."

  • "I've eaten at Fiorino's before and the food was excellent. I decided to take my girlfriend out for Valentines Day to Fiorino's and was sort of disappointed. They cleared out their entire menu and brought in a prix-fixe menu that was double of what they normally charge (ok all places do that) however, the food was not up top its quality as it was before and we were disappointed when they told us that the two desserts that were looking to eat were out of stock (while we saw the same desserts being brought to tables after we tried ordering them). Needless to say, at the end of the night my girlfriend thought it was "good" but for the what I paid I expected "excellent." I recommend them on anytime except for holidays with prix-fix menus."

  • "We are at Fiorino on Satrurday night and brough 2 friends who had never been there before. They were impressed with the ambience and pleased with the choice. It is a very attractive restaurant. Our salads, seafood, pasta and vegetables were all excellent. As usual and as expected, the service was very good - attentive but not overbearing. Cheesecake with sorbet was a great choice for dessert. We highly recommend Fiorino."

  • "I was not happy on Valentines Day. Service was sub-par. My table was in the middle of the restaurant, and we were waiting, and waiting to be served. We didn't know who was our waiter; at least two people were taking our orders. For the first time in my life I have a 15% tip... All bc of service.. I would go to this restaurant again, but not for a pre-fixe... Zagat fooled me with this restaurant"

  • "I had higher hopes for my first dining experience at Fiorinos. Don't get me wrong, everything was fine, but that's the problem, it was just fine. My 'spicy' chicken breast wasn't. Not only that it was $23 for a half breast. My table mates had Shrimp Diavolo, very nice shrimp, not so diavolo and linguini with white clam sauce. Both pastas were properly cooked and arrived to the table hot. Dessert of coconut/chocolate cake with coconut sorbet was so-so. The restaurant was filled on a Wednesday evening and parking in Summit can be challenging."

  • "This is a go-to for the wife and me for date night. This most recent visit was just the two of us, but we had a large group in their "Wine Room" a month ago and everyone raved. Everything on the menu that we've tried is excellent. The wait staff is extremely professional and experienced, just the right service, not too much. Great atmosphere, there's a great vibe as the place starts to fill up on say a Saturday night."

  • "We had a fantastic time here. We each had crab salad for appetizer. The flavors were outstanding. I had a blood orange margarita infused with jalapeno tequila and my husband had wine. Drinks were great. I had prawns with pasta and red spicy sauce and he had tilapia with vegetables. We had to hold back from licking the plates! Dessert was coconut chocolate cake. Looked too pretty to eat but we fought over last bite! This is our new favorite place!"
