FioriniGreat restoSort of a throw back to a quieter, less crowded, more elegant New York. Perfect New York East Side neighborhood restaurant, with space, attentive service and good food.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMOnly disadvantage of thisOnly disadvantage of this absolutely reliable Italian eatery is that it is closed Sunday and Monday. Delicious salads and pastas. Great staff. Terrific wine cellar party room. Two nice chef's tables. Attracts a sophisticated lunch crowd, a well-behaved family crowd on weekend nights, a faithful constituency of neighbors each night and at lunch. You get a warm welcome and eat very well here for fair price and high quality.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMgood for lunchExcellent for lunch on the east side if you don't want to spend a fortune. Good food. Quiet which lends for good conversation.
I had a salad and swordfish for lunch and both were quite good.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a SurpriseWe had our first visit to Fiorini on Saturday night. We loved it and will definitly go back. Beautiful decor and tables nicely spaced, very unusual in NYC. Everyone's food was outstanding. Our only complaint was the slow service. It might be one of those restaurants where they treat the regulars well, but not the newbies. We could actually have a conversation without yelling - very refreshing.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMvery very goodConsistently very good. We are here all the time. The staff is excellent as always.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDining Donatella-styleOutstanding service in a sophisticated setting that works also for families over weekends. Their wine cellar is a great party place -- and the chef's tables make diners feel very special. Ideal for a quiet business lunch, a family party, a special night out -- and the Italian food is delicious.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
