The best.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA new favorite.Finz was the perfect place for my family to celebrate Mother's Day. We went in the evening and had a wonderful time. My youngest daughter and I like basic food while my husband and oldest daughter like more complex dishes. We all found meal choices that were perfect for us. Because it gets very noisy on weekend nights, we try to go for lunch or during the week. Many of their dishes are interesting and tasty (I adore the blackened catfish tostada -- an appetizer but a perfect small meal) but other things are just so-so. The oysters are always good. There's a nice wrap-around deck for outdoor seating but the view isn't stellar -- for that you have to go to Capt's or Victoria Station.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunch without the FussWe went there for Easter Sunday Brunch. While it was crowded, as expected, the service was quick, pleasant and efficient. The food in the buffet was fresh and varied. The lines were short. We were not rushed in spite of the fact it was very busy in the restaurant. The only downfall for us was the greeter when we got to the restaurant that night. To me, she seemed like she was more focused on getting ready to leave for the evening. Four people in party, four very pleased diners. From the orange blossom margarita to the swordfish caprese to the key lime pie everything was great. We had amazing meals and the service was very good. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time.
