Finz SalemGreat ServiceWe came as a group to discuss work, and as a group of women who had not seen each other in a month we had a lot to catch up on, lol. Our waiter was attentive, but aloof (which in this case was great) because he could see we were busy. He never rushed us to make dinner decisions or to get the check and leave, which would have been understandable since we were there for over 2.5 hours, and were one of the last customers to leave on Tuesday. Table was ready when we arrived, food and drinks came promptly and the food was wonderful. Really loved the grilled scallops. The wines were great. Our waiter was attentive and really on top of things. The only thing you could do better is to offer one (just one) vegetarian entree on the menu; a stir fry, or roasted veggie plate would be wonderful. Don't make it pasta. Make it vegetables! My youngest daughter and I like basic food while my husband and oldest daughter like more complex dishes. We all found meal choices that were perfect for us. Because it gets very noisy on weekend nights, we try to go for lunch or during the week. Many of their dishes are interesting and tasty (I adore the blackened catfish tostada -- an appetizer but a perfect small meal) but other things are just so-so. The oysters are always good. While it was crowded, as expected, the service was quick, pleasant and efficient. The food in the buffet was fresh and varied. The lines were short. We were not rushed in spite of the fact it was very busy in the restaurant. The only downfall for us was the greeter when we got to the restaurant that night. To me, she seemed like she was more focused on getting ready to leave for the evening. Four people in party, four very pleased diners. From the orange blossom margarita to the swordfish caprese to the key lime pie everything was great. We had amazing meals and the service was very good. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time.
