The tables were spaced far enough apart that we didn't feel crowded at all. The food was very good. We had the appetizer sampler. The calamari was crisp and tender, not chewy. The pasta di mare was really good, as was the salmon. It's a nice gem by the Verizon Center, great for a preconcert dinner. We will return.4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAfter a long flight acrossAfter a long flight across the country my wife and I were looking to grab a quick bite to eat. We decided to check out the hotel restaurant and we were very impressed. Are server Steven was very engaging and knowledgeable about the whole menu. We started out with some cocktails and then Steven suggested a bottle of organic red wine that paired very nicely with our meals. My wife had the butternut squash and I had the chicken marsala and they were both outstanding. Steven timed the wine and the courses perfectly and after a long agrivating flight to DC my wife and I left very happy.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe restaurant was very good.The restaurant was very good. The food and the service was great. The only problem was that when we got there they seemed to be short staffed and no one was working the front desk. It made it difficult to check in with our reservation. We had to wait ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence. Other than that the rest of the experience was great. We were sat next to the fireplace which was really nice. Our server was really sweet and offered suggestions.
