Diner Reviews
  • "I had a little higher expectations for the food than what it turned out to be. Service was great, beautiful spot, parking was easy to find but food was lukewarm. (and barely that, my meal was almost cold)."

  • "You can't have everything! Good food, service, ambience and noise was low. My senior group settled for appetizers! I am a member of the Lions club-we meet once each Monday for lunch at your facility. Just pricey Thanks"

  • "Thank you so much for the enjoyable meal and service at Finn & Porter. We came to celebrate my daughter's 33rd. birthday with a group of her friends and really appreciated the beautiful surroundings on the Clark Fork, the attentive waitress and the delicious food. We will definitely be back."

  • "I was nicely surprised by the way the steak was cooked and presented on plate. I ordered it rare to medium, as I normally like it. It was spot on, one of the best meats served in restaurants that I can recall. My wife had the rainbow trout. She was delighted with it as well. As an appetizer, we had crab and artichoke dip. It was very tasty, although a bit too greasy due to the cheese gratin on top. For dessert, they were out of their popular creme brulee. We had to go for the cheesecake, which was pricey at $9.50 for the small portion we got. Enjoyable view overlooking the river. However, there was too much noise on Friday night. For a quieter and romantic evening, I'd suspect a school night would work better. Overall good experience."
