  • "I was nicely surprised by the way the steak was cooked and presented on plate. I ordered it rare to medium, as I normally like it. It was spot on, one of the best meats served in restaurants that I can recall. My wife had the rainbow trout. She was delighted with it as well. As an appetizer, we had crab and artichoke dip. It was very tasty, although a bit too greasy due to the cheese gratin on top. For dessert, they were out of their popular creme brulee. We had to go for the cheesecake, which was pricey at $9.50 for the small portion we got. Enjoyable view overlooking the river. However, there was too much noise on Friday night. For a quieter and romantic evening, I'd suspect a school night would work better. Overall good experience."
