"Having never dined at Finch's, I was very impressed by the ambiance, service, and food. Upon arrival I found that two tables had been set aside for me from which to choose, and was also offered the bar area to sit. The server was very upbeat and outgoing; and made a quick trip to the kitchen when I had a specific question about one of their menu items. My date had seafood risotto; the shrimp and scallops were both very tender and flavorful. I had a nicely done duck breast and the accompanying quinoa was outstanding. Overall, it was a very nice experience and I will be sure to come back during the summer months to enjoy the outdoor patio area. My only criticism is that I felt the pricing for wine by the glass was a bit steep."

"I enjoyed the atmoshere and decor very much ,very "airy" and bright but not too bright . The service was outstanding and our waiter was very personable and friendly . The food was outstanding as well as the wine .
I Will definetly come back , I want to try more of the items offered on your menu.
I think our waiters name was Michael ."

"The service at Finch's has always been stellar. This is a wine bar so you'd think they'd keep their wines at the proper temperature. The reds are always served too warm. Anybody who knows wines knows that "room temp" is not necessarily the correct temperature to keep red wines."

"The restaurant is hidden in plain sight. The bar was small and extremely noisy. We initially wanted to sit there, but it was too loud. The hostess was responsive. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. Unfortunately he did not know until we ordered and had to come back to the table, that they had run out of two of the main dishes, the halibut special and the red snapper (the reason we chose the restaurant). The food that we finally got was excellent. The mussels were superb, the ribs fabulous, succulent and tender. The salmon was special. The choice of wine was on point.
The server should have discounted the meal given that we were on our third choices from the menu, but alas, no such luck.

"When we arrived the table they gave was by the door, which was open. It was cold out and I asked if we could have a different table, of which there were many open. They said that they were full fro reservations, however they were all set for two people. They could have easily given us another two person table. Not really impressed by the way we were treated."
