  • "Four women who have been friends a very long time headed out to dinner. Looking for somewhere different, we learned of the 3 for $30 offer at Final Cut that is offered Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. Sounded like a deal, but were wary of getting a good dinner in a casino. We had a fabulous dinner; great service by Laurie (maybe Laura? sorry), the food was delicious, and the filets were cooked perfectly. There was no casino noise at all. This is definitely a destination for dinner as opposed to somewhere to grab a bite in between trying your luck at the tables or slot machines. We all plan to return - maybe with our husbands next time!"

The ambiance combines classic expectations with a modern twist; Nothing about the style is terribly noteworthy, but the design and feel come together well into a pleasant space for dining. All our servers possessed the key elements of great service: Politeness, Friendliness and Promptness. The food was truly above my expectations for the region; You'll have to drive to Chicago for any reasonable competition in high end cuisine."

  • "My wife and I were there to celebrate our anniversary. The wait staff was fantastic, décor very nice and food terrific! My only comment was we took advantage of your Sun, Mon, Tue special of $30 for a three course meal. We both ordered the 6 oz. fillet. We decided to add the salad which turned our meal into a $45 meal. We both thought that adding $15 for just the extra salad was quite expensive, but my fault for not seeing that. Your menu shows the same salad for only $8 so we paid a total of $30 extra dollars for a simple spinach salad. Won't make that mistake again. Highly recommend this restaurant for that special occasion."

  • "I made a reservation to celebrate my wife's birthday. We arrived a few minutes early and were promptly seated by a window. My wife's birthday was acknowledged immediately, and the waiter admired her earrings. From the moment we arrived until we enjoyed our last cup of coffee, the servers had perfect timing. Each course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The lobster chowder and French onion soup were tasty. We shared spinach salad...again perfectly prepared. We each chose 8 oz. Prime Filet and they were absolutely delicious. The baked potato and platter of grilled asparagus...well, again...I will say delicious. We were surprised with a complimentary birthday dessert for my wife. A pleasant end to a great dinner."

Our waitress was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and always there but not annoying. It was a great experience, we're looking forward to going back to try more dishes. The chefs are very creative, we got to sample some of their dishes, very, very nice. We'd highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "My wife and I dined at Final Cut for our 20th wedding anniversary dinner. Our entire experience was incredible. The food was top-notch. We had the crab cakes appetizer and split the chopped salad-both were excellent. For our entrees we had a prime filet and the prime strip steak. These were 2 of the most mouth watering steaks we have ever had. Both were cooked exactly as ordered. Our server and his assistants were very attentive to all our needs. Our waiter even brought us a complimentary cheesecake for our dessert. Overall it was a great evening."

  • "The food was very well prepared and as one would expect from a higher end steak house. Prices are as one would find in a larger city, think Chicago. If you are looking to host a business dinner, get dressed up for a night out (although others may be in shorts or golf togs) this is a change of pace for Toledo. The service is overly attentive, almost to distraction when in conversation. Polite to be certain, including walking us out at the end of the meal. Nice smallish bar for a quiet pre dinner drink or apps available as well. In the end, I am happy to have tried it, but prefer to support the local restaurants in Toledo. And then there is the whole Casino thing."

  • "Food was marginal especially for a 5 star resturant. Lobster tail add on was about 4oz. and overdone. $29.00 for a 4oz tail is outrageous. One 10oz filet was done a little more than medium when it was ordered as medium rare. Another 10oz filet was ordered medium well and came out well. The medium rare 10oz steak was noticeably larger than the other. Dined with a friend who actually sells meat and Final Cuts is one of his companys customer. He knows the head chefand he actually came out to speak with us and apologized about the steaks but offered some excuse that the difference in how they looked could be because they were not their "prime" steaks. VERY DISAPPOINTED and will probably not go back nor recommend to friends or family."

  • "Everything about the meal was spot on. Try the mussels!!! The service was impeccable. You would not know that you are in Toledo, or in a Casino. Sun, the manager stopped at our table a few times, and when we sent compliments to the chef, Chris, our waiter, brought him to our table so we could tell him ourselves. We have a nice chat with him about his plans for the menu, etc. We will definitely be back. Also, found on the way out that they have an intimate bar area that we did not know was tucked in at the casino. We will also be checking that out again."

The hostess complimented my wife on her appearance and made her feel like a million bucks before we even sat down so that was a great start. The food was phenomenal and the service was impeccable. While the pricetag is not like most Toledo restaurants in the area, it is worth the value - especiallly for a special occaison or event. We will be back!"

  • "The food and server were A-1. However, at NO time was I made aware of a dress code. Not when speaking to the Casino host. Not when making reservations with the host on duty. Not during the confirmation email. Never. When we arrived, we were told us it was business casual. I was sure we were going to be turned away. She almost sat us in the alternate bar room to the left, but allowed us a seat in the back of the restaurant away from other patrons. This is a true story, please do believe me. To make matters worse, they allowed people in jeans and more 'casual' attire then us to sit in premium seats after we were sat. I was embarrassed and felt that I had to apologize to my girlfriend all night for it. I still hold the embarrassment of it all."

  • "The food at Final Cut was outstanding, the service for 3 women dining was not. We were celebrating my birthday(which was that day) and my daughters birthday which was a few days earlier. We were never asked if we were there for a special occasion. When seated we waited a good 10 minutes before we were even brought menus. All the courses seemed to follow this way. We had to ask for more water even though other tables water glasses were being refilled with no request. The last time I dined at Final Cut we were given a vial of their steak seasoning to take home. None was given this time. We left with a damper being put on our special birthday celebration!"

  • "My husband I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary at the Final Cut. My husband was a bit doubtful given that it was in the casino. There are also quite a few nice restaurants to choose from in the area. This one of the best meals that we have had in years. We had the cold seafood platter appetizer and split a ribeye steak with the corn side dish. While pricey, it was worth every penny. The seafood was delicious and very fresh The presentation was outstanding. Our ribeye melted in your mouth. There was enough meat and corn leftover for one of us to have for lunch the next day. The service was also very good. They were attentive, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back, but probably only for special occasions."
