A word from Final Cut Steakhouse - Hollywood Casino Columbus
Final Cut Steak & Seafood is a contemporary American steakhouse featuring hand selected USDA Mid-Western Prime Beef, corn-fed and naturally aged up to four weeks to ensure maximum flavor and texture. Each steak is hand cut to order, seasoned with kosher salt and tri color peppercorns, and then broiled at 1600 degrees to create a thin charred crust that seals in the delicious natural beef juices. All steaks are finished with a touch of butter to enhance their natural richness.

In addition to serving the highest quality beef, Final Cut Steak & Seafood also features the freshest seafood from Wild Salmon and Cold Water Lobster to Sushi Grade Ahi Tuna and many seasonal shellfish. To top it all off, Final Cut Steak & Seafood offers an over 150-bottle wine list that features both New and Old World wines to pique any diner's interest. Final Cut is fine dining at its best.

  • "Salad wedge (iceberg) was good ,ordered filet and lobster. You didn't have any lobster and had to settle for 2 8oz filet . Neither were good cuts for $$ . Ordered bottle of yellow label veuve clicquot and you were out of that. The service was good"

  • "You don't have to love gambling to enjoy this top tier restaurant in Columbus. Odds are, you will have a great meal (and have fun!)"

  • "Probably overlooked by many as it is logged inside Hollywood Casino but Final Cut Steakhouse is definitely worth a visit. I tend to challenge a chef by requesting a medium well steak but refusing to "butterfly" the meat. This is one of the toughest meats to get right. The steak came out perfectly with just a touch of pink in the middle (warning this does take more time and attention). Salads were over-sized and the server offered to split into two bowels which worked well. Side are also over-sized and well prepared. Definitely a repeat."

  • "We had a wonderful dinner for our date night. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the mustard sauce that came with it was delicious. I wish they gave more than just a smatter on your plate of it. Our waitress was very helpful, but I don't know if she purposely didn't stop by often or she was busy with other tables. We finished most of our steaks before she came around to ask how it tasted. The Riesling wasn't very cold when first opened, but it was still refreshing. Oysters were yummy, but having no crackers really was odd. If someone is spending $200 on a meal, can you not just go to another restaurant for a pack of crackers? Overall, it was delicious and was a good night."

  • "Reservations were for 8pm, finally seated at 8:25pm. Decor is beautiful and server was attentive; however, the kitchen had major issues (according to the server on several of her stops back to the table apologizing). It took 40 minutes just for our salads to arrive and one hour and 10 minutes for the actual meal to arrive. If it had been extremely busy I could have understood the delay but there were several empty tables. The food itself was delicious once it finally arrived (although the steaks were cold and undercooked to our order). Sadly, I will have to think long and hard before I consider returning to this restaurant and spending $120 for dinner for two (that's with no alcohol)."

  • "This was our first trip to the Casino and restaurant which we had heard good things about. My wife's filet was excellent, my NY strip less so. Risotto was very good. The service and the ambiance was excellent. Prepare to spend time there because they take their time cooking. Our server did set the proper expectations regarding the wait which was good. Unfortunately, the Casino is located in an area you don't want to be caught in after dark. You might not want to be there during daylight either."

  • "We saw mixed reviews, but our experience was great. We thought the menu was great, inlcuding beef wellington which is not served anywhere that we know of in Columbus. All great."

  • "while I was able to change my dinner reservation, the steak I ordered was tough with to much fat through out the steak. the side dishes , creamed corn & mushroom risotto was excellent. "

  • "Amazingly quiet in spite of the noise of the casino you walk through with calm, lovely décor. All six of us raved about the food, but highest honors go to our waiter Jim. It was so nice to enjoy good food, great service and be able to converse without having to shout."

  • "If you want to experience good service and wonderful food, go to Final Cut. We ordered the Sea Bass which was delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is soothing. This was probably our 5th time there and will continue going there! "

  • "My husband and I were celebrating his 76th birthday and chose Final Cut for the occasion. We both found the Final Cut a delight. We sat in a booth and viewed our surroundings. Everything was so beautiful. The best thing I noticed was there were no crying children around with exhausted parents trying to quieten them down. Our food was delicious and the service was excellent. We have already suggested Final Cut to several of our friends. I'm sure you'll be hearing from them. We will definitely be returning!"

  • "Every piece of food we had was perfect...right down to the chocolates served at the end. The filet (oscar style) was juicy and cooked perfectly. The cocktail menu is extremely helpful and the selection is great. The service was good but a little slow. We were placed right next to the kitchen, which was the only negative. We will definitely go again."

  • "Good meal out. Not a great meal but it was certainly good. Nice atmosphere and quiet. Good getaway from the casino bustle and noise. it was a little pricey for the service and food. As I said, good meal out but not a great meal. I would go back again."

  • "I dined at Final Cut with my wife for our anniversary. I had never been there before, but was immediately impressed with the atmosphere. The service was outstanding from the time we walked in until we left. I ordered the bone-in Kansas City steak. I was easily one of the best steaks I've eaten in years. It was cooked perfectly and tasted even better than it looked. My wife had the cajun pasta and shrimp which was great as well. Desert was just as good as the meal. We had a brownie cooked inside bread with hot fudge and cherries on it. This is a great place to have a romantic dinner."

  • "I was expecting the typical high-end steak house prices and the ala carte approach to side dishes. However for these prices the food (the steaks in particular) were a big disappointment both in quality and preparation. Both of twit steaks had a charred coating on the outside which gave the steak an off-flavor. We ordered 2 side dishes and neither was good. The service was very slow and our waiter, who claimed it was his job to "spoil" us would disappear for long stretches. When he did come by the table he was always complaining that the water pitchers were empty and someone else wasn't doing their job. We had a good time but will not go back. If you want a high end steak dinner go to Mitchells or Hyde Park."

  • "Dinner at Final Cut proved to be a perfect night out. The entrees were delicious (lamb chops and the Berkshire pork) and the chef prepared a fantastic dessert -butter pecan bread pudding with a caramel sauce and a dollop of vanilla ice cream. This was the best dessert I have ever tasted."

  • "We were very pleasantly surprised how nice this restaurant is being that it is attached to the casino. The food was great We were happy that the server explained that the salads and side dishes were big enough to share between a couple. All 4 of us loved the au gratin potatoes. Due to the size of the steaks, I would suggest that a side dish could be shared with 4 people. I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions. We will definitely be back. "

  • "Delicious food - we don't eat steak and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious fish options."

  • "The bread was excellent. My Ribeye steak was very good and cooked to perfection with a good flavor. The side dishes were very good. The desert which was a fudge brownie encrusted with a light flaky pastry was out of this world. it was too much and too rich to finish."

  • "As this was my Wife's and I 30th anniversary dinner I was a bit disappointed because even though I made the reservation through Open Table the hostess could not find the reservation and we were seated at a small walk in table. Steak not as good as Ruth's."

  • "Everything about our experience at The Final Cut was outstanding. Our waitress was one if the best my whole family has had in a long time, the ambiance was great and the food was OUTSTANDING!!!! The steak at final cut is hands down the best steak I've ever had. Every detail of every part of the meal surpassed our expectations!"

  • "This was the first time our group of 6 dined at The Final Cut Restaurant. The food was exquisite and service was fantastic. The Ambience was great and quiet. We were able to have a nice conversation while enjoying the great fine as well."

  • "This upscale restaurant is fantastic! I wish it had an outside entrance so that you didn't have to walk thru the casino to get to it, because it would be really great to go there for a special occasion and not have to travel thru chaos to get to it. The food was absolutely amazing! We travel to Cincinnati a couple times a year to get a steak that good and now we can get one right here in Columbus. We also had really great service. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. I will say the restaurant (and casino) decor is not as I would have expected. Being a designer myself, the building already looks very dated to me."

  • "Service was "at best" just ok. Our waiter did a good job, the problem is, he would disappeared for long periods of time. The busier would fill our water glasses and pick-up our plates ...... but no waiter. I was very disappointed in the NY Strip Steaks my son-in-law and I had. They were both tuff and a lot of grissel. We both ordered them medium, flavoer was just, ok I should have gotten the filet"

  • "It took ENTIRELY TOO LONG to get our food, and the restaurant was not even packed. Reservation was for 8:45p, my main course was not brought out until 10:45p."

  • "We have been to The Final Cut twice now. On the first visit the food was outstanding but the second time the Prime Rib was just so-so. The ambiance is nice and so convenient if you are visiting the Casino. The service was great and so was the wine list. I am sure we will give this another try."

  • "We had a lovely meal and experience at the Final Cut. The service was fantastic. We both ordered the filet which was perfectly prepared. The only think I would add, would be descriptions on the menu of the sides. The side I ordered, was not what I had expected based on the name."

  • "Because this restaurant is inside the columbus casino, my husband and I didn't expect it to be an outstanding steakhouse. We were quickly fooled. The food was amazing, one of the better filets we had ever had. We had been at Smith and Wollensky a few weeks before and Final Cut blew them out of the water both with service and with food. The sides were good portions and they paired perfectly with the main course. Our service, from Jim was exceptional. He called us by our names, offered suggestions and was very attentive. We will definitely be back to enjoy another meal! Thank you!"

  • "The wine and drink list was very good. We ordered the calamari and it was nothing like it was described on the menu. The menu said something like, "pan fried with marinara sauce" and it was served with a heavy breading, coated in some kind of Thai chili sauce. Which was fine, if that's the type of flavor you like. The steaks and sides were very good. When we first walked in, it smelled fishy which totally threw off the rest of our dining experience. Ambiance is nothing to write home about. Overall, would be a great place to eat if you won it big in the casino or were out late. If you're going to spend $$ at a nice steak place, I would recommend others in Columbus."

  • "Good steakhouse restaurant, but not exceptional. Would only recommend if already at the Casino and wanted to have a steak dinner, however, not a destination location. Make sure to make reservations, a taste from the chef was nice touch, food order took almost 50 minutes to be served, steaks were good enough."

  • "I had read some good reviews of the restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. The service was horrible! It wasn't really our waiter's fault because the entire casino appeared to be woefully understaffed. We had to wait endlessly for every course and every drink request. Then, when the food finally arrived, my steak was overcooked, tough, and tasted strange, My husband and I did not believe these were prime cuts of meat. In addition, the side dishes were mediocre, at best. Suffice it to say, we will not be returning."
