The appetizers, salads, and entrees were all delicious and the creativity of the chef is unquestioned. Wine list is very attractive, affordable, and some wines were being offered at discount for the evening. Dessert for our group was the gelato, by choice, and it was as good as we tasted in Italy. Our guests were from out-of-town and they raved about the food and the ambience. The décor is lovely - modern, with silver and hardwoods mixed throughout the space. Since the restaurant offers a mixture of long tables in the open center with booths on the perimeter, it can serve both diners looking for a lively family dinner or business gathering, as well as couples seeking a more private space. The food was quite good, and not overdone with sauces, which we truly appreciated. Most important to mention, however, is the quality of service. The menu is well crafted without being overly large. The specials were citrus salad with olives & arugula and a potato gnocchi with peas & pea purée. Portions are reasonable. They happily accommodated the separate checks as we are all on expense accounts, and the service and food were stellar. Emily our server shared suggestions with wine, food courses and pairings. Wine was wonderful. Appetizer was so delish! Dinner was cooked perfectly and just when we thought we couldn't eat another bite- the lemon pudding with winter fruit hit the spot! Such a delightful meal and the service was wonderful. We purposely went on Wednesday for lunch, when the special was Osso Buco. It was a large delicious portion with excellent risotto rice. The meat was extremely tender and full of flavor. The ambiance is delightful and the wait staff very professional and helpful. On another occasion I had brunch there which was excellent. The food is delicious and the special tasting menu is great for large groups. The server was very helpful in making suggestions.
