"Our waiter is an Alec Baldwin look alike. He gave us fantastic service. The food was great, and baldwin turned us on to a $38 dollar bottle of wine that tasted more like a 300 dollar bottle of wine. It was a cabernet. We will tell our friends about this restaurant."

"Overall the food is excellent - beyond that, my experience was less than stellar. This was my daughter's 20th birthday celebration and unfortunately, was not very memorable. The hostess thought our group was a 4 (not a 6) as noted in the reservation. Had to ask for a larger table - not quite sure why she could not see that we were a 6 and not a 4! The service was horribly slow - spent 2 hours and we were one of the first tables seated at the start of the dinner rush. No mention by server of any special occasion until dessert was offered and the comment was made, "oh I know there is a birthday here and you get a free dessert"....really???? And, it took almost 30 minutes to get that free dessert! Again, food was excellent/value good."

"Overall, I liked Fig Tree Cafe. The house salad was delicious and quite large, definitely enough to share. Husband had chicken manicotti. There were two - a bit small, I thought. I had the pizza and that was quite large. Overall, tasted good, but wasn't earth shaking.

Service was fast and attentive; friendly, cozy environment. Very busy and popular."

"We shared the crab-stuffed shrimp and the lobster raviolis, and both were much more haute cuisine that we had expected on our first visit to this relatively-new restaurant best known for its breakfasts and lunches. The five large raviolis were virtually drenched in a rather spicy chipotle sauce (watch out for the piece of red in the sauce--it ISN'T sun dreid tomato), and the two huge prawns were over-stuffed with a crabmeat hash and accompanied by a similar-looking, but much milder sauce. Both entrees were delicious."

"Everything was outstanding, except for Alaskan Salmon dish...it was extremely salty. Had the owner admitted it was too salty and took it off of our bill, our rating would be 5 stars across the board. We might return, just will not be ordering the salmon."
