FIG.. FOOD IS GOOD... should be "GREAT"! Our server did a wonderful job if explaining the choices for the evening. All the servers went above and beyond to make us feel like we were the only table in the house. The soft shell crabs were melt in the mouth! We shared 4 appetizers at the table because we could not decide. I highly recommend this as one of the BEST restaurants in Charleston!

We spent our anniversary there and had a fine experience. The appetizer was a steak tartaredish and it was outstanding. My wife had the coddled egg in a stone crab broth, and it was to write home about. My fish (trigger) was great,with a parsley infused topping, but the soft shell crabs had begun to harden and were not at their perfect stage. A mashed potato side was creamy and excellent. BTW, our server was very professional and attentive.

Our recent dinner at FIG was outstanding. The food was fantastic, fresh, flavorful and not loaded up with extra sauces and fats. Our waiter was perfect, well informed, entertaining and there when we needed him. It is easy to see why the restaurant ends up on everyone's list of best in Charleston. Be prepared for a 2 hour dinner, which was just fine by us.
