The restaurant is beautiful - tons of natural light. Service is really good. Food is great - they start you with delicious bread and a trio of different olive oils. Highly recommend the Fig Salad, everyone loved it. For brunch everyone was happy with their Crab Cake Benedict. I had a truffle penne mushroom pasta which was excellent. Service can be a bit off at times like it was last Saturday.
Waited 15 minutes while sitting a a table at the bar for a drink. Waited 20 minutes to get the drinks then immediately had to go to our table. The wine steward opened the wine I brought and poured the first round.
He and the waiter never re filled our wine glasses for the rest of the night.

It was 25 miles from home, so we had not checked it out before. From the moment we got in, the staff was welcoming. They congratulated us on our anniversary. The waitress suggested crosti for us to try. We LOVED each of them. She brought us different olive oils to try and explained each of them. The meal was divine. I had a white fish and my husband had the tuna. We also had dessert, an apple pie a la mode. It was awesome. From beginning to end, our meal was delish! Proscuitto Crostini and mushroom crostini amazing. They brought a sampling of olive oils to the table with their homemade rosemary bread which was also delicious along side their olives from the starters menu. Also had the scallops from the appetizers, flavors were great, but kind of small, and surprisingly less impressive that the previously mentioned items.
I had the lamb chops with eggplant and goat cheese gnochhi and the dish was amazing and brought out hot, not warm but hot. The other dish was the paella, also good, but the lamb chops definitely stood out.
For dessert, tried the chocolate souffle, creme brullee cheesecake, and desert crostini. Usually the food is excellent but part of my dinner was just okay. It was my girl friends birthday. The young man who was our server was outstanding!! His wine suggestions were excellent and the service was 5 stars. We decided to do the pre-fix menu and order the crostini's which were fabulous, as always. The appetizer beef carpaccio was heavenly, however, our entrees were below average. I got the ravoli and it was less than room temp and the pasta was tough and not good. I really liked the decor- comfortable yet chic. The wait staff are incredibly attentive without being intrusive. They have great food. There is a large selection of fish and mediterranean fair.
