We were delighted to find Fiamma. We enjoyed every morsel and every sip of wine in their great Schott Zwiesel stems.
We've already recommended this place to our friends and will continue to do so. The atmosphere is hip, cool, and relaxed. The staff there was fantastic. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and courteous. I did not get the "snobbish" vibe at all from anyone at FiAMMA which seems to be so common at other comparable restaurants in Las Vegas. The food, WOW! The food was great! They have the fancy creative menu items to the simple traditional Italian fare which was good for me as my wife is not into creative fare at all. I am though and my meal was delicious. I had an incredible Italian beer there too. Notably the service was congenial and the management certainly is on top of things. A great value if you have a food credit from The Siganature. Our entrees were very nicely presented and the flavours rich.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food, Relaxing AtmosphereWhen we arrived the restaurant was very busy as there was a concert at the Grand Garden Arena and people were staying at their tables longer than usual. We waited in the bar and were seated in about ten minutes. Our server was prompt and very professional offering to answer any questions about the menu.
We ordered the Caprese salad to start and found it very refreshing and light. For the main course I had the Roasted Petaluma Chicken and my wife had the the past special which was fusilli pasta in a white sauce. Both were excellent and portions were just right. We did not have desert but I did have a cup of coffee which was served in a french press and was quite tasty.

Conversations taking place all around you are not distracting - 95/18/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious dinner... sucky serviceMy friend and I got a last minute reservation here know a Friday night which was fantastic and seeing there were majority 4 stars we thought it would be great. Got to the restaurant and were seated right away... our waiter came over to ask what type of water we'd like and then we didn't see him for 15 minutes... finally had to flag down someone else so we could place our order. It wasn't so busy where this should have been the case but oh well. The poor service continued throughout the meal but the food was delicious... caprese salad shared and I got the halibut... yum! My friend got the gnocchi with lobster-- double yum!! So rich and decadent!

But our server did a great job, and even got the kitchen to prepare something for my wife that wasn't on the menu. As for the food: the pesto is absolutely amazing. There's something about the basil they use that is extraordinary. And the pasta, made fresh in-house daily, was awesome. The gnocchi with lobster was a little disappointing. It was good, but personally, I wouldn't order it again. Very little lobster and the flavor of the sauce didn't appeal to me much. We could relax while waiting for showtime.
They got everyone in the mood for the show by playing Stones tunes, which everyone seemed to appreciate. It was very busy and our waiter had several large parties to contend with, but he still managed to give us excellent service. A manager stopped by to ask how our evening and experience was...that was a nice touch.
We really enjoyed ourselved and the food was great. It was romantic and the service was great. Our waiter, Chris, knew the menu well and gave us some good suggestions. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and, no joke, it was the best calamari we've ever had. It came with fried zucchini and peperoncinis with marinara and some sort of aioli for dipping (forget the marinara, the aioli was amazing). If you want to eat at a fancy restaurant on the strip but don't want to break your wallet, I highly recommend Fiamma. It is on the high side for cost , mostly the wine, but for that special occasion is awesome. You have a nice varietynof fish, steak, and of course the pasta is over the top great.
Call early if you want reservations as they fill up quickly. Especially on a concert night. Reservations are also hard to change the closer you get to the evening you are going.
Service is outstanding. The restaurant manager stops by and checks on you. He pickednupnthatnitnwas our anniversary and surprised us with desert on them.

We sat next to a table occupied by six young men who appeared to be inebriated and were very boisterous. That factor detracted significantly from what was otherwise a good experience. When we were seated I noticed that the area we were seated in was intimate and perfect for two or three person parties. I ordered the gnocchi tasting trio and it was beyond delicious. Our server was extremely attentive and helped provide a great suggestion for wine pairings while still allowing me to make my own selection. All in all this was a great experience with flavorful food.
