    We have over 560 different whiskies in house and are one of only 19 Scotch Malt Whisky Society Partner Bars in the world. Very Rare Cask Strength Single Barrel Whisky

We are Southern Inspired & Whisky Infused!

We love our whisky and cook with it every chance we get: Southern Fried Chicken with whiskey chicken gravy, Gentleman Jack Mac’n Cheese and West Coast Cod with Whisky Miso Butter are a few of our whisky infused entrees.
Some of our Southern influenced dishes are: Jambalaya and Rosemary French Toast with Fried Chicken and maple syrup.

We use local free run chicken and eggs, house made organic burgers and Oceanwise seafood.

Fets Whisky Kitchen has been a family owned and operated establishment since 1986. We are Vancouver’s Premier Whisky Bar with over 550 different bottlings and Vancouver's home of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society

  • "The menu looked amazing, lots of cool whiskeys, the whiskey sour was amazing. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to try any food because the service was horrible. The waitress left us while we were asking her questions... while we were talking to her. She went to serve another table and never came back to grab our order. Also we ordered shots and 30 minutes passed and they never came, the waitress never came back so we though we would just settle up the bill for our drinks and go somewhere else. While we were settling the bill the restaurant still tried to charge us for the shots that never came and said "they are on their way" I have never been to a bar where it took 30 minutes to simply pour shots out a bottle."

  • "We were in town for a conference and I sought out the Whisky Kitchen obviously for their exceptional list of Whiskies. A few of us went on Tuesday and came back Friday with a group of seven because we enjoyed ourselves so much the first time. The owner Eric was there on Friday and treated us to one of the most impressive displays of customer service I have seen in a VERY VERY long time. To put this into context, I spend 90-120 days of every year on the road and that means eating out over 300 times a year all around the world. Given this is whisky, this could have been a very pretentious experience, but Eric is anything but. His enthusiasm for whisky, desire to share that with others and the outstanding personal service was exceptional!"

  • "The meal was decent. There were three (3) of us dining and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the Brussels sprout salad. Be prepared to have a spinach salad with about 10 halved Brussels sprouts. Also, "beets" in the salad is about 10 julienned pieces. Salad dressing was nice. Salad could use a goat cheese to top it all off. Quite a simple salad."

Amazing selection of whisky from all over the world, varies in price range & quality so anyone can find a whisky to try - if they want to! The service was good. Our server was friendly but not overly intrusive. The Black Truffle Sachettes were amazing! Little pouches of deliciousness. "

  • "Our waitress was so awesome. She checked on my friend and I every couple minutes but did it in a way that it was not annoying. Actually, she started joking around and the table near us also joined the fun. A patty for two turned into a group of 8. And yes the food was good. I had ribs, two drink special, and a liqueur. My bill only cane to 57$. Thats pretty good about hen most restos would of cost me 80$"

  • "This restaurant had a lovely heated patio. I came here because I wanted some authentic southern cooking. While their food was ok, the menu did not have a lot of southern options. The jambalaya I ordered had uncooked rice and my guest ordered a salmon dish where the fish was also uncooked. The server took the salmon back, had it cooked further, and literally came back and tossed it back on her plate. No apology. Given the quality (or lack thereof) of the food, I do not think the prices were justified."

  • "This was our second time here. First time was great. We had the same waitress this time but she was not great. One of our friends ordered the fried chicken. It seriously looked like two chicken wings next to the other orders we saw later. I mentioned it and she said that they are all the same and by weight. Weird how the girl next table over had 3 very large pieces. She gave him his coffee for free as a gesture. Really. Dessert maybe. I would still go back but now we know what to expect."

  • "It started off well with a welcoming atmosphere. Brunch menu was great with good portions. Service started off attentive. Then as it got busier, service was not attentive, to say the least. Took 20 minutes to get the bill. We called in early in the morning to get a high chair and another table got both high chairs with only an email 20 minutes in advance. They pointed the blame at me, the one who made the reservation that I did not make the request at that time. Course, the call in the morning should have sufficed anyway - the manager said "no one told me". Not sure how that is our issue. Nothing done to compensate. Not even an apology. Funky atmosphere."

  • "Went there for my fiance's bday with a group of ten and the services was great! brought in my own cake and they were totally flexible and brought it out at no extra cost! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Got one of their signature dishes (southern fried chicken) and it was just lightly crispy, range free chicken! Highly recommend!"

  • "I didn't know what to expect, going to Fets, but I was really impressed. Their wines and beers are so reasonably priced, it is refreshing to see. The only feedback I would give... I had a salad which consisted of lettuce, onions, shredded beets and some brussells sprouts and it was $12!!! I found that quite pricey for a simple lettuce filled salad. I got chicken and it ended up being a $17 salad. I am a little rabbit and eat salads all the time and am used to paying about that price for a salad with a protein. But I found $12 for a salad really high when there are only four (4) simple ingredients. Either way, they did it well. My partner had the ribs which were fall off the bone and had a sweet touch to them. Great."

  • "If you enjoy or want to learn more about whisky, this is the place. The whisky selection is wonderful (including rare limited edition whiskies). Imagine bottles of whisky from floor to ceiling but don't worry, the servers are very helpful guiding you through your choices. Cab or take transit so you can indulge; this isn't the place to enjoy just one drink. You'll want to try another...and another... The food was good but the blend of spices, heat and salt in our jambalaya was a little off so next time we'll sample another of their many tempting food choices. (The food at neighboring tables looked great too!) Bring your non-whisky drinking friends along too, there's lots of choices for them -and maybe you'll turn them into whisky converts."

  • "Unbelievably awesome food, I had the ribs and they actually fell off of the bone. My girlfriend had the fried chicken which was almost as good but still very good. The server was also very helpful with giving suggestions. Definitely give it a try, we're going back for sure."

  • "Known for its whiskey, its a secret so far that Fets also does good brunches. We had a pre wedding brunch there with a 4 year old and 6 adults and the food and service were great. The table was set up so we didn't feel in the way but still in the heart of the place. I was very relieved and pleased as we had people from out of town and needed a place to be a good example of Vancouver and that wouldn't make us wait in line for mediocre food and service with attitude. Go there for brunch before its discovered and you have to wait in line. I like the polished atmosphere as well."
