Ferre Fort WorthMagnificentGreat food and small but perfect wine list. Steaks perfectly cooked and swordfish best I've ever had. Staff was particularly helpful!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect for the OccassionWe had a party of 7 for a wonderful Mother's Day Brunch. The ages of our group consisted of early 20s - 80s; the food selection was very good and satisfied all tastes. The service was very good and attentive! Our table was ready when we arrived for our reservation and we were promptly seated (important when you have older people in your party)! This was our first time to this restaurant, but we will go again.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMCompletely Surprised! We had heard good things about Ferre's, but I must admit, I was completely surprised how well this restaurant lived up to our expectations. We did the Sunday Brunch. It was very, very delicious. We'll be back!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMnice alternateMy wife and I often eat at the Ferre' restaurant. The food is good, the staff friendly, and you can take your time to enjoy the
food and wine. We've gone to Ferre' after an evening performance at the Bass and found it enjoyable for wine late night snacks.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMLeft HungryFood was tasty and well presented but servings were rather small. If this restaurant is patterned after Northern Italian dining, per their website, I would expect more robust servings. Reception and service was excellent and the ambiance was good for special occasions.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dining experienceWe thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Ferre. Our waiter was knowledgeable and knew the wine list and menu very well. We will be back.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMI WILL return!Perfect food, fun and friendly staff, nice atmosphere. We started outside, it began to sprinkle they quickly moved us inside. It has an odd scenic view - you are under the massive angels and trumpets that extend from Bass Hall...impressive. Wait staff - knowledgeable & outgoing. She had us sample a wine varietal with which we were not familiar...wow. Wine list is not extensive, but it is varied with excellent vineyards (I studied with ING). Homemade bread and gavoch is to die for, we had warm brie for an appetizer and both had different cuts of beef for main course...and creme brulee and a chocolate mint martini for dessert. Not cheap, but not ridiculously expensive. When the food and service are this PERFECT - you don't mind paying more.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMTreat YourselfBrad, the manager, works really hard to make everything perfect. My sea bass was excellent. The salmon was as good as it gets, the bread delicious and the tomato puree topper if to die for (bread and sauce makes it worth the trip).5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways seems to get betterWe eat at Ferre at least once each time we come to the Ft. Worth Opera festival--it is right across the street from the Bass performance hall. Each time we go we like this restaurant a little better. The cocktails were spot on--we order classics and they knew how to make them well. We tried the calamari, which I'm usually neutral on because of the chewy rings, but this dish was delicious--the larger steak portions made the dish tender and tasty. Paradelle with herbs was very well prepared, and the pizza is always my favorite--fancy when served there. Possibly the only weak point of the meal was the key lime tartlett--lots of graham cracker crumbs and a thin, and overly firm center.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMBrad the GM was spot on withBrad the GM was spot on with his attention to detail and providing his servers proper training. Our waiter Michael was engaging and the service level was fantastic. Kudos to both and the entire staff as they were just wrapping up from a party of about 150 people. They are quick efficient and work as a team.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMVery Nice in Every WayOur first visit. Very nice in every way. Location especially nice for Bass Hall events, "Main Street," -- food great, and prices seemed modest for the quality, service, etc. We'll surely go back.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice experience. AfterVery nice experience. After opera dessert was good and the seating was quieter than meal. We will be back.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMVery impressed on all levels.Very impressed on all levels. The manager made sure that all was taken care of including my car as I arrived at valet parking.
Delighted to be able to have a glass of Mount Veeder Cabernet.
The filet was excellent.
Upon returning to the restaurant after the opera for an after dinner drink we were greeted by the manager once again. He said that he was glad we came back after the opera. The serving of Baileys on the rocks was quite disappointing. Very stingy pour. As we were leaving manager (Mr. Crouch) presented his card, thanked us for coming in and said to call when we were coming back to dine and he would like to take care of us. Very impressed. This speakes volumes regarding how this establishment is managed and the staff.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall, nice, good food, and conveNice restaurant and conveniently located across from the Bass Hall where we were going to the opera. The staff realized this (by how we were dressed) and made efforts to get us dined and to the show on time. The entrees were very good and moderately priced (expected). We asked for dinner salads and while tasty seemed high in price. Be sure to check what you are ordering. They have a small outside dining area which could be quaint but it is next to busy street so not sure of the noise level. We dined inside. Inside, the noise level was bothersome. Although it has high ceilings, it also has concrete flooring and the noise seems to bounce to make conversations difficult. Overall, nice, good food, and convenient if going to the Bass Hall.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe dined at Ferre before theWe dined at Ferre before the symphony Friday night and had an excellent experience. Our waiter was attentive and informative. The food was great and the location is fantastic. We will defiantly be back.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service was outstandingThe service was outstanding and friendly. The spaghitti and meatballs.4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMOur reservation was for anOur reservation was for an Easter Pre Fixe brunch. The menu options were imaginative, varied, well prepared and the best I have had in a while. The porchetta and saffron infused risotto with scallops would bring me back to Ferre;s in a heartbeat. The staff were friendly and attentive. Justin is a server I will ask for on our next visit.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAs usual Brad and his staffAs usual Brad and his staff did a fantastic job and made our evening a most memorable experience. We will obviously be back.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMI was very pleased again withI was very pleased again with everything...I had been to Ferre Fort Worth once before and was generally pleased with the service and the food was very good anyway...however, this time was even better...the service and food was all wonderful...it was nice to go somewhere nice for dinner before a fun bass hall show...everyone was very attentive and the food was delicious...I am in customer service and the way i was treated, that's how i hope i am with customers...thank you, i will be back:)3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food high wine priceLove the food but wine prices are too expensive. They need to offer a few at a lower price point.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific spot for pre-theaterTerrific spot for pre-theater dining. Right across the street from Bass Hall in Ft Worth3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is outstanding. ThatThe food is outstanding. That is my primary focus for a restaurant. The noise level is moderate to energetic. That is because all of the patrons are having a great time. Service is very good. I will definitely go back again.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFood, as usual, was excellent.Food, as usual, was excellent. Do think wine, by the glass a, little pricey with cabernets $12 on up.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMBefore the ShowGreat place to stop before going to a performance at Bass Hall. Varied menu and good wine list. Servers can be a little "over-the-top" at times, but they are very well intentioned.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMI had been wanting to tryI had been wanting to try Ferre and waited for a special occasion to make my reservation. The restaurant was crowded, but we were immediately seated at our table. Our waiter was friendly and mentioned the evening's specials clearly and concisely. He was attentive and had a great personality. The entire dining experience was great and we'll come back another time.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place for dinner beforeGreat place for dinner before a show at the Bass or the McDavid.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMFerre and Bass HallVery handy when you're going to a Bass Hall performance across the street. The staff is alert to timing in such cases, and the range of items on the menu is appealing. From appetizers to dessert, plenty of great choices!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a hit!Service, as always, was excellent. The food never fails to amaze the palate. Ideal location for a delightful meal before a show at Bass Hall.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMVery convenient for Bass HallGreat because of food, etc. but also because it is directly across from Bass Hall & the valet parking is so convenient..
