I really liked the spinach and cheese ravioli with red sauce. the bread was great as usual and the dipping well with pesto/red peppers was very tasty. It never fails to satisfy our need for a great italian meal. We have several choices, including some renown national chains, but Ferrari's always is our choice.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is ItalianBeing from NY (Manhattan) and spending time in Italy from Sicily to Milan and all points in between I have tasted Italian food at its best. And Ferrari's is top of my list for true Italian food. It is what I consider Southern style.
The price per portion is unbelievable.
This Restaurant is a Gem of a find in an area of so-so Italian Restaurants. IThe food was wonderful. I thought that the lunch portions would be small but was surprised to find that we had so much to eat. Also, my friend and I decided to purchase the ice cream dessert. We informed the waitress that we only wanted something small and we thought that when we chose the ice cream that it would come in a small ice cream glass. Again, to our surprise, it was hugh. They offer a variety of sauces, so there is something to please every palate. It's a bit pricey, but they offer smaller portions at a more reasonable cost, and even though I ordered the small portion I had enough to take home for lunch the next day. They also offer daily specials that sounded different and interesting. On this visit, the special was lobster tail over a bed of spaghetti squash with butter sauce. The service was efficient. The food is always good and the atmosphere is very nice. Their outside area is wonderful. Late March didn't work for outside this time but we will certainly go again when we can eat outside. Got a text from our friends asking where we were and 30 minutes later we were sat with the other couple. They too had told them they were with our party.
