FELICE, the ultimate Tuscan Restaurant and wine bar, already in two locations on the Upper East Side in NYC, is now venturing down to the Financial District. Opening in Gild Hall, a Thompson Hotel, 15 Gold Street will introduce authentic Italian classics and the family’s namesake wines to the Wall Street community in its intimate 40-seat restaurant and upstairs wine lounge called La Soffitta.  This successful restaurant is already a favorite uptown, amongst local clientele, wine lovers and serious foodies alike.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "I've enjoyed three meals at Felice (two lunches, one dinner). The staff is cordial and low-key and the food is always tasty and interesting. It's one of the quietest places in the Wall Street area - that in itself makes Felice a real find."

  • "was good to go for a nice breakfast in the fido area, the staff was nice and accommodating..."

  • "Hard to find but worth the adventure. Food was good, although the menu is somewhat limited. Nice wine list, limited cocktail list. A rustic ambience transforms you to feel like you are not downtown, which was great. Went for a business lunch and the noise level was perfect to discuss deals."

  • "Brought an important lady in my life here for her birthday and it turned out great. Enjoyed everything from the food to the wine and the service was outstanding!"

  • "Great food and well-appointed restaurant tucked into Gold Street. Not as well-known as other Wall Street restaurants, giving it a sense of privacy. "

  • "Really good flavours in the pasta, I was however, disappointed to find the penne was not hand made. At that price I would expect only hand made pasta. "

  • "Felice Gold is a true neighborhood gem. The candle light, amazing wine list, warm and personable service and delicious food are all the reasons for us to come back to dine again very soon."

  • "First time eating at Felice 15 Gold St just off the Lobby of the Thompson Hotel. Great little find in the financial district. Food was tasty, service well done and ambiance attractive and pleasant. "

  • "I love everything about Felice - the food, service and atmosphere are all wonderful. I am lucky to live right around the corner. "

  • "What a great spot in the financial district! We went for drinks after work and had a great selection of wines to choose from, plus plenty of sharable snacks. Tiny little meat balls were good and meat/cheese platter provided a nice assortment."

  • "Worst service. Took 30 minutes before a waiter came to take our order. Had to ask for a waiter 3 times. The wait staff is friendly and smiles in their ineptitude, so you feel bad for them. Will never go back."

  • "Wonderful ambience in a small, intimate setting. Decor is fantastic, food was very good, and the service was great. Glad to have found such a great place downtown."

  • "We went to Felice on Valentine's Day because we tried to find a place that didn't offer solely a prix fix menu. It was a great atmosphere - a small place that wasn't too loud or way too quiet. The food is amazingly priced for how good it is and the wine list was extensive as well. The staff was extremely polite and helpful from the hostess to the servers. Can't say enough good things."

  • "I made a reservation for Valentine's Day a few weeks ahead of time. The restaurant called a few days before to confirm. We had a beautiful table by the window and had a very nice view of Gold St. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. For V Day they had candles and a rose on the table. The ambiance was exactly what you would want for a romantic dinner. Would definitely recommend to friends and return!!"

  • "VERY quick service. I went on Valentine's day, it was crowded, there might have been more tables squeezed in for the holiday. Great dinner, candlelit. My girlfriend loved it."

  • "We had a great time at our Valentine's Day dinner at Felice. The service was attentive and the food was great! We will have to go back to try out the rest of the menu (especially the desserts!)."

  • "We live so close to this place and I've been meaning to try it out since the ambiance looked pretty good. The menu was good, with lots of great flavor combinations. I thought it was a good value, for the level of service, food and presentation. We had a cheese board, mixed olives with bright shaved orange rind (very appealing), arugula salad, crostinis with ricotta, figs and honey and shared a delicious entree, the lamp chops. Great Italian wine list too, and a knowledge maitre'd."

  • "Nice little neighborhood spot. Food was good, but not to the point I would rave about or remember. Staff was kind, courteous & knowledgeable. Menu was straightforward/average. Decor the biggest strength (candles at each table), very cozy. Overall experience as ok. I wouldn't recommend, at the same time, I wouldn't tell someone it's a bad choice."

  • "Took my small staff to this neighborhood restaurant and left with good cheer! From the service to the dessert, all was perfect!"

  • "great food and wine but the service was a little too slow. took over 45 mins to just receive appetizers and we were one of the first ones to arrive for an early lunch."

  • "Very romantic setting with candles on wooden tables. Great wine selection and the food was delicious. Our server was great and very helpful. They make you feel very comfortable, its a great spot to go with your loved one or with a group of intimate friends."

  • "Excellent food for someone not looking to spend a fortune on lunch. Definite neighborhood gem that you have to look for because it's off the beaten path. However, once found, it's worth the visit."

  • "Walking to South Street Seaport, we found this in the hidden corners of Wall Street. It seemed intriguing as the candles lit the dark poetic restaurant from within as we walked by. Upon glancing at the menu, excitement arose. (and is usually crushed or met with mediocrity) The Italian menu was well thought out, with numerous selections we had to slim down to what we could actually eat. With each course being brought with mindful presentation and a fluid of flavor and textures. Every dish was better than the one before. True to its culture while embarking on modern practice. I was overjoyed with this restaurant. Putting it next to my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. Which has never been and will never be easily done."

  • "We came here the other night (Thursday) without reservations and didn't need to wait that long. Great food, loved the appetizers and the special. The ravioli was kind of strange but good. Andy is the friendliest waitress in the world! The lighting is verrryy dark which I liked."

  • "Happened upon this adorable addition to the neighborhood - I can't believe I haven't seen it before. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and made great recommendations. Try the ravioli - it is a standout dish! I went for lunch with a co-worker, but I would love to come back for dinner because they have an incredible wine list and the food was delicious. This would be a great date spot - the tables are cozy and intimate and the bar is beautiful."

  • "My bf and I dined here on a Thursday night (probably the most busy night) and considering this, service was exceptional. We LOVE the fritto misto here, the house wines are right on point. It's cozy and dark and the tables are relatively spaced out. We will definitely return; this is a well-needed gem in the financial district."

  • "Discovered Felice recently and had lunch there twice. In both instances, the service was superb, the food scrumptious. I look for excuses to go back!"

  • "I really enjoyed this restaurant. Great vibe and the food and wine list were very good. We were in the back (bar area) of the restaurant which is probably not great for a romantic night but good for what we needed. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we were well looked after. I would definitely go there again and thing this would be a good spot for a night out with friends."

  • "we went later on a sunday night which may have been the reason but there were about 4 other tables dining at that time as well. the service was very good, friendly. the appetizers were delicious. the main course of pastas, both were very disappointing. the pasta was a little harder than al dente and the sauces had no taste. unfortunately they didn't satisfy our cravings for a good bowl of pasta. however, the place was adorable. the decor was dark and romantic. i would try them again, just order something other than the seafood and fusilii or the bolognese."

  • "The restaurant is very quaint. The food is delicious. The servers are not only attentive and knowledgeable but go the extra mile if you are there for a special occasion. As the menu has many interesting dishes and wine varieties it can sometimes be hard to decide however the wait staff is very patient and helpful. The only real critique I would have would be in regard to the table sizes and room to spread out, but that is only a minor flaw. Check it out if you get a chance. Definitely a nice date spot"

  • "I did not look into this restaurant a lot before I chose it but I'm glad I did! I went to dinner there with my boyfriend. It is a cute place, romantic, and was very quiet when we went on a Friday night. The staff was amazing, the hostess was accomodating and the waitress was great. They even acknowledged that I was a vegetarian, something it says on my open table app but most people do not mention. The food was amazing, classic Italian. We started out with an appetizer of cheese and meats and I had a pasta dish for my main course. I could tell the pasta was homemade and it was great. I would definitley go here again and reccommend to a friend."

  • "This restaurant is part of Gild Hall Hotel, where we had stayed. We had breakfast there. The hostess/waitress was unfamiliar with Opentable and needed it explained to her. She was also unfamiliar with the tea selection at the restaurant and indicated that they did not have anything decaffinated, when they clearly did. Besides that, the prices were reasonable for NYC and the food was quite tasty. For some reason, water is served at room temperature, so make sure to ask for ice!"

  • "Friendly and comfortable Italian dining spot in financial district."

  • "Within Guild Hall Hotel, so gets a full bar crowd during the week. The food is good, with a nice choice of wines by the glass, but I find it's always rather noisy, so best if you can get a quieter spot away from the bar. And there's generally annoying rock or pop music, which is too loud -- and not what I want to listen to while I'm eating."

  • "The food and service were good and they gave my friend and me a table in the quietest table, as I had requested. This was much appreciated."

  • "Off the main street, still a great find! Dark, intimate tasteful decor and intelligent staff. Whether going for snack, quick lunch or dinner you will find meals prepared with top quality ingredients and attention to details. Will definitely come back."
