A word from Feast - Tucson
Feast's menu changes on the first Tuesday of each month, and remains the same for both lunch and dinner, as well as in between. This keeps our menu seasonally appropriate and offers up the freshest ingredients possible at the height of their season. We think this also keeps it interesting. It's our hope that if we're excited about the menu, you'll be excited as well. Our private dining room accommodates up to 50 people. Feast is also a wine and liquor shop with twenty wines by the glass, a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence winner for the past five years running, and a full-service caterer. Continued

He changes the menu every month, so old favorites can disappear, but there will probably be a new favorite to try."

  • "We have driven by FEAST so often and always said "We should try that sometime." Well, we finally did and yes WOW. Everything was delicious. I got the Lamb stew and I don't usually like lamb, thought I'd try it based on the description and I will go back just for that. From appetizers to dessert we were"blown away". We also liked the fact that the chef/owner was constantly walking around talking to us about our food and making sure we were nothing but satisfied. We will make this a monthly "treat"."

  • "We were visiting Tucson for the book festival and chose this restaurant from Open Table reviews and proximity to hotel. It's one of those rare restaurants that make you think momentarily about moving to a city so you can go there again. Food was fabulous (lamb stew, sweet potato side dish; beet cake). Servers were warm and friendly and efficient. Great, innovative menu made it hard to choose. Every dish we saw looked beautifully presented. Wonderful ambience. My dining companion is picky, and she was very happy with the choice."

  • "We had catered an event from Feast, but unfortunately never got to taste the food (knew it was good by all the rants & raves!)...so we went there for dinner last week-end. From the moment we walked in, until our very last bite, it was pure delight! Service was perfect. My drink, "Rosemary's Baby", was out of this world & the food was Excellent. My husband had the filet (cooked just the way he likes it) & I had the sushi salmon...to die for!!! Can't wait to go back or even have a party & have Feast cater it!"

  • "Visiting from out-of-town and looking for a change from the boring hotel food, we stumbled on some good reviews for Feast. We had two excellent entrees, a special and the filet. The spices and sauces on my rare, sushi-grade tuna were beyond perfect--for once, I was happy to have what initially appeared to be a huge portion. And with it, a lovely, complex Arizona cabernet. The staff clearly know what they are doing and appear to be enjoying themselves. It was well worth the drive from the north-of-town resorts."

  • "The chicken veg. soup was yummy. My husband had the Reuben with Feast's own corned beef. He loved it. I did the sautéed Atlantic cod over rice - the fish was done just the way I love it - just before flaky. We will go back. Only down side was that the tables were closely side by side, so you couldn't have a private conversation."

  • "We were seated as we arrived for our 6:30 reservation (arrived a few minutes early, table was ready). Our service was very good, attentive without being hovering. The meal was excellent, although my body told me later in the evening that it was a little greasy/heavy. Flavors were subtle but precisely as described on the menu. The variety of the choices was excellent! For the price, it would be nice to have a little more room between tables, and a tablecloth. And, for the price, DO NOT MAKE US USE THE SAME SILVERWARE FOR DIFFERENT COURSES! If I have used my knife and have it on the plate, I do NOT want it picked up by the wait staff and put on the table for the next course."

  • "Have eaten here many times and highly recommended this to our London guests. This time however I was most disappointed. The food was warm to cool at best. Cold coffee served. Really like hot food to be just that .... hot. We had overseas guests with us and it was their first experience and didnt want to complain. Doug when you came by the table I did in fact say to you that our friends had come 6000 miles just to eat at your restaurant..... You barely acknowledged this comment..... never mind taking a few minutes to chat with them out of commom courtesy."

  • "I just missed visiting Feast when out with a former student because it was closed on Mondays. It was recommended highly for vegetarians (although I am not there yet!). However, one of my dear friends is vegetarian and she is VERY particular about what & where she eats. We had the beet cakes (scrumptious!) and shared a dessert of in-house prepared ice cream ,with a chocolate truffle cookie. SUPERB! My birthday friend loved it and our waitress even brought her a lit candle on a 1/2 strawberry (different!) FEAST is very elegant with delicious food for all palates, and the food is tastefully presented. Our waitress was attentive and took our photo. I highly recommend Feast!"

The wait staff should be noted for "taking time" with their clients and not making them feel rushed into decisions about food and drink choices. My wife's lamb stew was pretty good but there was some crazy ginger or possibly anise flavored pieces in there that were overwhelming. I'm surprised this place is so popular. We were visiting from CO."

  • "FEAST is always a treat. This brunch was a little late.. after 1PM, and it seemed to have an effect on the "home fries" which came leathery and clumped. The hollandaise on the lobster benedict was beautiful, smooth, and without the sparkle that one might hope to taste. Staff was as always engaged, helpful, and so pleasant."

Their menu is creative and ambitious, but even with great ingredients, some of the dishes need a bit more development to meet admittedly high expectations. Some dishes are excellent, and the chef cares, but maybe a little more focus on perfecting over creating is needed. I like this place!"
