I've come to the neighborhood
recently and have enjoyed eating at Feast for dinner, lunch and brunch. The food was invariably good and interesting, the service prompt and friendly."

This was are first visit to Feast
and hopefully not our last. In total we had eight wonderful dishes. We ordered the Mardi Gras feast which was incredible. I personally don't think $104 which included wine , was expensive. This place provides an unique twist to other hip or trendy places. You will not be disappointed!"

Feast was delicious and exciting.
They understand quality and originality and most importantly flavor combinations! I highly recommend this restaurant for group dinners and don't skip dessert!"

Although we have been to Feast for
their wonderful brunch many times, this is just the second time for dinner. As usual everything was flawless. Not only are Brian and his staff accommodating, but so friendly and welcoming. The farro salad with buffalo mozzarella has become a favorite, but the duroc pork with creamed cabbage and chickpea panelle was remarkable as was the pork belly & crawfish po'boy slider (I would love an entire feast of just these). Feast really knows what they are doing and they do it so well!"

What an.overall amazing
place....great service, warm and comfortable ambience and unique, creative, healthy, DELICIOUS food!! I can't wait to return for dinner! Total gem of a place!!!!"
Dined on 3/2/2014
I was told beforehand that this
place was special- that the food was exceptional- but it turns out that this is a major understatement!"

My husband and I had dinner at
Feast last night and were absolutely blown away. We did the Farmer's Market tasting menu and thought every dish (and there were many) was a standout. From the roasted acorn salad to the eggplant/roasted red peppers to the blood orange cake, each small, beautifully plated dish packed a wallop of flavor. The service was also wonderful. Total unexpected gem!"

We came here to celebrate my
sister's bachelorette dinner; we were a group of 13 and it was perfect! The food just kept coming out and each dish was delicious. My sister is a very tough "foodie" to please and she was blown away. Also, the staff was fantastic; our server Jess was a delight."
Dined on 2/22/2014
This restaurant has a really
excellent vegetarian feast! Almost all the dishes were outstanding, and the rest were good. You get to try about 9 dishes for $50, which given the quality of the food is a great deal. Additionally the service and ambiance was also excellent. I would definitely go back to this restaurant."
Dined on 2/15/2014
Great food and atmosphere. The
fixed menu was great value for money, lots of fun things to pick at whilst waiting for the meal. Will definitely be back here and would definitely recommend to anyone."

This review is only for the brunch
- but given brunch, look forward to coming back for dinner. The food was delicious and great value. Start off with a brunch cocktail, and then you move on to a small sampler and pastry basket. All delicious - no complaints. "second course" is the option off the menu - my boyfriend chose the eggs benedict and I chose the lemon soufflé pancake. Eggs were delicious and arguably the best restaurant eggs benedict we have tried. Lemon souffle pancake was also delicious, but ginormous - definitely only have this if you are splitting with a friend (or two). Excited to come back and try dinner :)"

I thought this place was great and
was intrigued (if slightly confused) by the unique structure of the "Feast" menus. The food was great but not out of this world (for Manhattan)--attention seemed to be paid more to presentation (which was great!) than flavor."
Dined on 2/7/2014
Excellent for sampling. Appetizers
the entrées will balance good flavor nice mix of surf and turf. The salad was exquisite. Desert rocks your taste buds. Go for the sampling menu aka the feast!! Very modern Ambience and the sound level is at a healthy Decibel for table conversation."

We were a party of two who ordered
off the (limited) a la carte menu rather than off either of the elaborate fixed price menus, which looked like more food than we were hungry for, and were too expensive anyway. What we ordered was pricey as it was: one salad, one entree, one glass of wine, two cups of tea: $75. The server couldn't have been nicer, but the food was not to our liking: overly fussy and aggressive -- no subtlety in this place. Thumping-bass music thundered through the place, which is a pity since the warm wood space could have a cozy ambience if they turned it down."

On my OT reservation, I had listed
my many food allergies. Upon arrival, the hostess was sure to discuss the specifics of those allergies with me and relayed the information back to the Chef. Very Professional! I am happy to report that my guest and I FEASTed, EpiPen free!"

I was blown away by our service
experience at Feast. My group had a 2pm reservation, which is when the kitchen closes. Our server was gracious about the timing despite our party's tardiness (we waited for the 4th an extra 20 minutes). Everything was done with care and concern for our experience. The food was outstanding, as well. I will definitely recommend Feast."

I have been to Feast twice, and
each time I LOVE it. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are prompt and pleasant. I would recommend it to anyone. If you plan in advance, it is also a great place for a group dinner,"
Dined on 1/4/2014
The first time I visited, I wasn't
able to do the Feast tasting menu due to a friend's dietary restrictions but was thrilled with my appetizer and scallops entree'. I made a mental note to come back ASAP. A month or so later I dropped in a for a glass of wine and was charmed with the ambiance even without eating... In November I was finally able to enjoy the Game Feast and was spellbound! The food at this place is really delicious - savory, adventurous, and well balanced. Quail legs... venison... some grain dish that I can't pronounce - all just excellent. If you are a foodie, you will love this place."
Dined on 11/26/2013
Cute place with great service and
a nice wine list but unfortunately the food wasn't great. First (maybe they say this somewhere & I missed it) everyone at the table has to order the same feast. We ordered the veg option. The appetizers were ok. the homemade bread was great but the main courses, 2 of them tasted pretty bad. The farro had a sauce that was overly vinegar & the spaghetti squash was so cheesy it was impossible to taste anything else. The kale salad was ok but overdressed & the mushrooms were huge and raw. Maybe the a la cart menu or meat feasts were better. Cute place but definitely not going back for dinner."
Dined on 1/4/2014
We came in late on the night of
the snow storm, so the restaurant was near-empty, but we received a warm welcome, even though we would be delaying the closing by at least 30 minutes. The chicken with liver dumplings was tender, moist, flavorful; quail salad bright; mushroom pasta the weakest of the dishes, but still tasty. Will look forward to returning to try one of the menus."
Dined on 1/3/2014
Feast was terrific! The food was
comparable to a top tasting restiarant with really innovative food, though not unapproachable. A real fun experience in dining. Only criticism is that they could benefit from slowing the pace down on the food they bring out, so you have a chance to enjoy each item before the next three arrive at your tae! Great meal though and definitely a keeper!"
Dined on 12/21/2013
Enjoyed the feast concept, which
was fun for our whole table to share each dish. Relaxed scene. Wait staff was kind and fun. Great meat dishes, but some of the vegetable dishes were a touch boring. Went with a friend with a severe dairy allergy; kitchen went well above and beyond to accommodate even making her special preparations to replace."
Dined on 12/20/2013
A very well thought out, well run
restaurant. The food was fresh, clean and cooked with care. The service was great, responsive, professional. I went with a group and it was the perfect venue for the evening. The long table is set up to allow for circulating and interacting with everyone. I definitely recommend Feast for a gathering of friends."

We have had brunch at Feast about
three times now. For $24 you really do get a feast. We always leave pleasantly full, but not overstuffed. We commented to Brian, who already recognizes and welcomes us as friends, that the balance of sweetness with the soufflé pancake is perfect--apple butter instead of something as sweet as caramel sauce complements the light-as-air texture and subtle lemon flavor of the pancake. $24 includes a Mimosa, Bellini, or juice--as well as 3 small amuse-bouche plus mini croissants, and a mini muffin and several choices of entree such as the soufflé pancake or eggs benedict made with duck confit! Feast has quickly become one of our favorite brunch spots in the area."
Dined on 12/7/2013
we each got the vegetarian feast.
for a "market" feast, it was not very fresh or tasty. food looked like it had been sitting out for a while before it arrived (beets for example looked like those found in a day-old salad bar). service was awkward for the many courses. disappointing."
Dined on 12/5/2013
Had Thanksgiving dinner here. Food
was great, flavorful and abundant. Caught the spirit of the unholy holiday with great flavors and great execution from the kitchen. Will go back to explore regular menu."
Dined on 11/28/2013
My friends and I went for Saturday
brunch -- everything was delicious and plentiful. We will definitely go back!"
Dined on 11/30/2013
I love this cozy restaurant on 3rd
Ave, my new favorite place for brunch. The people are all super friendly and attentive, special shoutout for Brian who is always there when I stop in on Saturdays/Sundays."
Dined on 11/23/2013
Ambitious and creative concept for
dining out. Al la carte and set menus that are well curated and presented attractively. Very nice place to go with a group who enjoys food. I choose it for my birthday and was near perfect."
Dined on 11/22/2013
Feast is great. We loved the
getting surprised by all the different courses. All the food was amazing and different. Great night out"
Dined on 11/3/2013
Overpriced for what the food
was.... about half of the meal was amazing and half was mediocre."
Dined on 11/3/2013
This restaurant was recommended by
a friend at work and well worth the visit. Great food, good atmosphere and good speed of service. Tables are shared and get noisy but otherwise a great meal."
Dined on 11/2/2013
I wasn't that sure about the food
but I live in San Francisco and I was super excited to try it. Wow--the chef was amazing and the food was so memorable. I dragged a few friends with me and we talked about it for a few days. Bravo! thank you for making our trip to NYC so memorable. Bravo to the Chef!"

Feast has quickly become my
favorite spot for special occasions and visitors. The rustic wood and brick decor provides a cozy setting with eye-catching design elements [like the re-purposed hay carrier lamp fixtures]. The menu is a rotating prix fixe selection of 3 Feasts which change with the season. Recently I dined on the Pork Feast. It is no secret that I have a profound love for pretty much all things pork, but the flavor combinations were among the most amazing porcine tastes I have found. Highlights included: bacon & egg [pork belly, grits, quail egg]; pig's ear taco; Berkshire pork Milanese; and chocolate profiterole [w/ bacon brittle sprinkles]. I really want to share this East Village gem with everyone! Reservations recommended."

my party of 5 enjoyed the salmon
feast, from the opening dish through the dessert, each dish got progressively better with each one being our favorite of the moment. totally enjoyable eating experience, going back to try the vegetarian feast"
Dined on 10/27/2013
Our food was delicious and we all
had such a great time. Th way the food was presented was so nice and easy for a large party!!! Everyone had there own special portion and everyone tried everything. My only downfall of the meal was the pig ear taco. The consistent envy of the Ear was not my favorite. Also, the salmon panini didn't taste that fresh. Buy all the other Foods made up for those two dislikes. The wine list was great and we had many bottles of red and white. After all 8 Of us ate the bill was very reasonable!! Highly recommend!!!!!"
Dined on 10/26/2013
You just can't beat the $24 brunch
which included a choice of mimosa, bellini, Beery Mary, fresh-squeezed OJ, or bottomless cup of coffee AND basket of yummy carbs, a shot glass of yogurt with fruit & granola topping AND a shot glass of soup. We shared two mains: a tasty squash blossom & goat cheese omlette and a wonderful lemon soufflé pancake! The service was friendly and welcoming--we will be back!!"
Dined on 10/12/2013
The food was wonderful - 9 plate
vegtable tasting had plenty of unique and delicious items. I would say only one was less than great. The service felt slightly rushed. We were there on a Wednesday night and it was not that crowded and with that much food we felt slightly rushed. Overall great place, will be back."
Dined on 10/17/2013
My girlfriend and i had dinner at
Feast this past Saturday. When it came time to order, we were informed that the Pork feast was sold out. That's a problem because there is only 3 choices. Also it was 9 PM. Running out of a third of your menu at 9 PM is weird. We had the salmon. The salmon was ok, not great. The salmon tacos were ok, and the salmon cassoulet was interesting. The service was good. They did offer us a glass of champagne a piece and a free dessert. There are so many amazing places in NYC. There is no reason to spend a dime in a place that is JUST OK"

The food was fabulous. The pace of
the multiple course meal was super rushed."
