FB Steakhouse encompasses two levels with indoor and alfresco dining. The menu expands beyond modern American steakhouse fare to include fresh seafood, specialty cuts of meat, and 500-plus wines from around the world. Design highlights include a brilliant chandelier of hand-blown glass, an open exposition kitchen, and a two-level, glass-enclosed wine tower. Each dish has its own signature flair, bringing attention to the colors and textures of each carefully crafted recipe.

Upstairs at FB Steakhouse is a chic dining and lounge space offering tempting dishes, from small plates to full meals, perfect for eating at the bar or at one of the high-top tables.   • "As part of our usual family dinners on Sundays, we pick random restaurants with great reputations and put their food and service to the test. I must say that the service was very good and the food was great. The portions were rather small for the hefty price tag on each plate. Gotham has great servers and their food was great not so sure if it was worth the hefty check. On the other hand we had a great time and the décor and lighting at Gotham was super chic. We didn't spot any celebrities but then again it was Ultra weekend and they were all probably getting their rave on"

We were celebrating an anniversary and the restaurant made it special by acknowledging it and offering a few tasting courses from the chef. Our server, Matias, was top notch - walking us through the menu, giving us some options, and taking care of our every need. The food was delicious. Overall, a wonderful night."

  • "I go on business trips to the Fountaine Bleau once a year but I have never tried this place until now and now I am going to come back every year. The food was well worth the bill, I dont usually say that because there can always be improvements in any institution but this place had the finest stake and drink lists that I have been to in my time down in southbeach, dare I saw my entire time as a self proclaimed food conesouir. Our waiter was polite, elegant, witty, and a well respected man. If your going to southbeach I would recomend this place for business or for a more romantic occasions."

  • "Gotham Steak is in the Fontainbleau hotel - this means it is $$$$$, but if you are staying at Fontainbleau that may not be an issue. Service was excellent, and the food was as well. Morton's prepares better steaks, and has slightly better more personal service. At gotham you are served by a whole team of waiters, managed by a senior waiter. This means your requests are translated on to several people and led to confusion at one point in our meal. no big deal, but it can seem like a production or show rather than good service."

  • "Ambience was great, and the steaks were perfectly cooked. Our server was friendly, and attentive, but, as is the case with trendy hot-spots, the server went overboard trying to sell my partner on a bone-in ribeye, telling us the boneless steak (the one he originally wanted) would take longer, as it had just been delivered & was not yet "off the truck." I get it--they are trained to sell--but it's a little disconcerting. It is a steak house: there are few (if any) entrees other than steak & everything is a la carte. All in all though, it was a good experience."

  • "Gotham Steak at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach is one of my favorite restaurants. I bring family and friends there often and have never been disappointed. The ambiance is romantic and relaxing. The servers do not "rush" you out. The wine list is extensive. The Filet Mignon with Bernais Sauce is amazing, as are the Stone Crabs and Salmon. The food is superb and the service excellent I have patronized this restaurant for years and will continue recommending Gotham to everyone I meet. Bravo!"

  • "It was nice, ok but not wow. For the money if I could do it over I'd go somewhere else. The steak and fish was ok, not bad but it wasn't like the times I've eaten fish or steak and thought wow this is amazing. They sat us downstairs it just took away from the experience we were there for a special occasion and we could see any views. They kept missing details I ordered an old fashioned and they brought me scotch. It was just not worth the money we spent. Then the hotel wouldn't let us use our validation after we spent all that money on dinner bc we were there more than 5 hours? We stayed and enjoyed the hotel had some drinks so they penalized us for staying and spending more money."

  • "We were at the Fountainbleu for our 17th wedding anniversary and had dinner at Gotham. We shared the foie gras appitizer which was incredible. We then shared an 8oz. cut of wagyu beef, again, incredible. We shared asparagus as a side dish which was plenty and delicious. For desert we shared creme brulee, delicious. The wait staff was wonderful and the atmosphere was as well. My only slight disappontment was that the sommelier didn't seem to be able to really offer options when they did not carry the a few wines we like. Very good experience overall and will return for sure........"

  • "We chose this restaurant because we were attending a business meeting at this hotel. I ordered a stone crab appetizer and was told this would be a jumbo stone crab. It may have been a large but definitely not a jumbo. Next I ordered the filet and ordered medium well to well asking for no red in the steak. The outer edges were edible but the inside was completely rare. I sent it back to be cooked longer and it was again served rare. At that point, I no longer wanted to eat it. I will say that at least they took my steak off the check and apologized but I still left the restaurant without dinner."

  • "As a first time visitor to Miami Beach, I wanted to try a great steakhouse. The service was outstanding. I ordered the boneless ribeye. The waitress suggested a sauce - thankfully. The steak by itself was just ok but the sauce was a wonderful addition. I did not finish and did not take it home. It certainly was not worth the price and I expected so much more. My friend had the filet mignon which he loved. We had the grilled asparagus which was very soggy and completely blackened on some pieces. We also had the Mac and cheese which was pretty good. Overall I expected a much better ribeye with more flavor. It was a nice experience, warm and romantic ambiance and we had an outstanding server, but would not return."

  • "I was staying at the hotel on vacation and thought I would take my two children here as a rare treat because it is so expensive. I made sure to make it an early hour. When I arrived, rather than being seated at a pretty table upstairs, we were led immediately to the basement where the other people with children were similarly sent. The children's food was awful. $12 for undercooked macaroni. The "chicken fingers" were 100% fried bread crumbs with no meat. Waiter told me to pick out my glass of wine on an iPad, tacky. Along those lines, most diners were using phones and iPads at the dinner table. Entrees are between 30-60$ and don't come with sides--those are $12 extra. In the end, a meal for one adult and two kids was $130 and plain bad."

  • "The wife and I stopped by to give this steak house a try. WOW !! What a gem it turned out to be. They seated us downstairs', what a nice surprise that turned out to be... The ambiance and romantic surroundings were off the chart. The service was attentive, but not over bearing, which we enjoyed... We started with --wife- had a nice salad- I ordered the "French Onion soup", some of the best that I have had in along time!! The main course-- wife ordered the boneless ribeye steak, and ordered the New York Strip. They both were very tasty and cooked to order-- just outstanding!! We both shared a baked potato. For desert -- she ordered the "coffee creamed donuts" and I ordered the "crème Brule. Both very good choices..."

  • "We have eaten here before, and looked forward to a great steak...the waitress was fine, the wine was fine, but other than the salad which was very good and the wonderful baked break they serve....... the food was awful! We had a sirloin...the steak was soft..???? The cream spinach was awful, tasteless.! It was as though the cream had turned to carmel and they used it on the spinach.... Sorry to report this, but hopefully it will improve the food."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. The server, Matthew, was perfectly knowledgeable and gracious. The dishes we ordered were perfect in every way. We had the new "wedge" salad, the Gotham chopped salad, filet mignon, roasted (melt-in-your-mouth) chicken, sautéed spinach and Vidalia onion rings. Freshly baked yeast rolls are served as the meals begins. Every need of the diner is met or exceeded. The prices are exactly what you would expect, given its rating and location."

  • "Great location and great service! A menu you would expect at any decent steakhouse, with a couple of novelties, but the meat wasn't as tasty as other venues right around the corner. I had the Boneless Rib Eye, and it was OK, but nothing I couldn't have accomplished as good or better on my backyard BBQ. Perhaps it simply wasn't aged? The "Coffee & Eggs" Steak or the Hanger Steak at the Forge was actually much better. The wait staff was very professional and solicitous though, and the Fontainbleau is a wonderful Miami Beach venue."

  • "We had a great dinner. We are steak snobs and were very happy with the Filets. We ordered a lobster tail and there was only a half Left. Our server was not happy with the lack of communication so he had the chef Make us something special. They sent up 2 full appetizers. An octopus and a ravioli. Best octopus my husband has ever had. And the best ravioli I have ever had. We left extremely happy, stuffed, and excited to return."
