Food was good for a buffet but not up to Faz's normal excellent quality. The on-line menu for the day listed Lamb and I was looking forward too it. Unfortunately there was none to be found. So minus a star. Service was great as usual. We had a reservation and were seated right on time. The waitress was wonderful and we never felt rushed even though they looked extremely busy. When we were shown to our seats inside I expressed an interest for outdoor seating. The friendly waiter was very compliant and succeeded in seating us mothers near the water-feature which was perfect.
The buffet was over-the-top! As was the dessert table. More than anyone could possibly eat though it was temptingly displayed and proved to be very delicious.
I've never been disappointed at Faz. Love sitting under the Redwood trees.

I love the sound of running water. The outside patio has a small waterfall which added to the relaxed and romantic atmosphere. This last weekend we ate outside on their patio and were quietly serenaded by a live saxophone player. It wasn't too loud that we couldn't hear ourselves talk and it created a romantic evening. Since it was a special day, they gave my mom a choice of desserts to choose from, which she very much enjoyed! The weather cooperated, and we were able to sit outside (even though it was the first week of April). The space heaters kept us warm and toasty. Loved being able to eat under the redwoods and hear the water splashing in the fountain. Sitting beneath trees while listening to the water fall was very tranquil. The food was fresh and had a lot of flavor. Our waiter was very friendly and gave good recommendations. We really enjoyed our meal so much

Excellent drinks and the pita bread and oil when yu sit down are a treat all to themselves I loved my salmon and my daughter had a lamb dish that was excellent. My granddaughter had the pizza and it was also delicious. Then my granddaughter just had to have the ice cream dessert which we all enjoyed. Service was friendly and attentive given how crowded the restaurant was. Do recommend this place for good, fresh food at reasonable prices.2/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
