"From the outside it wasn't what I expected, but once inside the people, ambience and food were great. The corvina ceviche outstanding and later go for the gaucho steak (being Argentinian believe me I know what I 'm talking about)"

"The food was incredibly bland. Although everything tasted fine, nothing stood out at all. I got a pulled pork eggs benedict, a combination of what are normally two of my favorite things, and barely even noticed I was eating. That said, the brunch drink special was good, especially for the neighborhood. All you can drink for 1 hour for $12 with an entree. The drinks were nice (I especially enjoyed the mango bellini), and the service was attentive. Also, great outdoor patio."

"The ambiance at Favela Cubana was very energetic. Their cocktails were amazing, specifically the Mora Picante which was made with jalapeno-infused tequila. I had the paella which was delicious. Wait staff was friendly and accommodating when our group ended up being larger than expected. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back again in the future."

"We were really looking forward to a cuban style dinner. The restaurant is cozy but has a nice and clean look to it. They had a giant screen above the bar showing the Carnival parades. This seemed a little out of place for this type of restaurant. We were satisfied when we left dinner, however, have to say that nothing was remarkable or particularly fresh tasting. The service was good ... our waitress was satisfactory. Overall, this is not a place we would recommend."

"Food was outstanding, for sure. Drinks were overpriced, but good. We were a table of 4, and the gratuity was added into the tip for us. 1st time that's every happened. Look out!"
