A word from Fat Cat Bistro
The neighbourhood east of High Park is in the grip of an explosion of fecundity. It's a classic century-old Toronto area that sprawls on either side of Roncesvalles and that is where we are located. Gourmands make themselves at home in Fat's sleek, contemporary interior or on one of the city's nicest patios, nominated as Best Garden Patio by Now Magazine. We have weekly specials and we are waiting to have you as our guest!

We were given a warm welcome when we arrived a little early for our reservation. THe menu is small plates, limited but interesting. Our wait person was pleasant but tried to take the order w/o writing it which didn't work out too well. She did compensate us by removing one of the items from the bill.

Went in on a groupon, food was decent. Service was weak. Restaurant is nice overall but didn't stand out relative to other queen west, ossington, roncesvilles spots.

Appeals more to an older crowd. For the price (with the groupon even) I would have rather went to a vibrant hot spot in the city, like pizza libretto and spent the same amount of money

Oysters were very salty. We went for a groupon deal which came with dessert, however they did not mention anything regarding dessert until we asked and had already been given the bill. Good was overall ok.
