Longtime restaurateurs Roberto DeLuca and Carmine Biasi have teamed up to create FARRO Ristorante. Farro has been and will continue to be a fun neighborhood gathering place offering reasonable, innovative food in a friendly, casual - yet elegant atmosphere. FARRO is a great place for a quick lunch or relaxing dinner, offering unique and classic selections.
Chef Roberto presents his usual high quality without compromise at FARRO - a charming corner of Italy in Vaughan. As Carmine says, “We want our guests to leave with a satisfying feeling of value”. Servers are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. FARRO can accommodate groups of up to 120 guests. Take-out and catering services are also available. FARRO also offers a vast selection of gourmet foods from it’s boutique market.

We had the spaghetti putanesca, the halibut, the boar and the penne sausage, as well as the shrimps in love. All were perfectly cooked, tons of flavor and the portions were generous. The place was full so it must be popular with the locals. Large tables with families, all ages, great restaurant. We will be back."

The pizza however is what 'won' dish of the night...it was perfectly baked in the on-site stone oven and was fresh and vibrant tasting all the way through. If you want to be surprised by a little gem, you definitely need to check this place out."

  • "I was beyond impressed with the high level of professional service and discretion at Farro. Our group gets together to chat and kibitz and we are often inappropriately interrupted at restaurants by servers who apply no discretion. Not at Farro, they were very observant and never intrusive. The calamari was grilled to a moist and tender perfection, my veal was so tender and the tomatoe sauce delicate and flavourful. As well as my friend's steak which was perfectly prepared and juicy. We shared the potatoes from the steak plate which were so tasty and almost melted in your mouth yet al dente."

  • "Overall the quality of the food was acceptable. The gnocchi was a touch too soft. The linguine was great. The amound of seafood was generous with the pasta. We had creme brulee for dessert and found it a little bit too creamy/rich but beautiful presentation with the strawberry/raspberries etc. It was disappointing they ran out of steamed clams or we would have tried them. The coffee was excellent. The waiters/waitress were friendly"

Shortly after we arrived the restaurant was full to near capacity, our appetizer and main course were very timely delivered. We were not rushed to pay so they could turn the table. Definatly will go again."

  • "We had a wonderful birthday dinner on a Saturday night. 2 of us had the tilapia which was very tasty, loads of veggies, creamy mashed potatoes, a nice portion of fish cooked perfectly. One of us had the penne salcicce, which was a wonderful ragout not overly spicy but just perfect again a good large portion. And the other had the veal parmagiana which was also very good, but they wished they had served it with pasta instead of mashed potatoes. The service was excellent, when I mixed up my drink they had no issues changing to what I wanted. We will definitely go back."
