  • "The food is always amazing at Farmstead. We are never disappointed and the freshness of the menu/wine list is a welcome site. Love the vibe, the menu, and the service."

  • "Everything is fresh and local and it shows. The pork chop was perfectly carmelized and served on the best grits ever. The crab and shrimp louie was delicious and everything was generously sized. Have the cheddar biscuits!"

  • "Had a great casual brunch outside with friends. Definitely come to eat, there are not many light options on the brunch menu! All was fantastic per usual."

  • "Sat on the patio on a nice cool evening. Service was very good, and food was great...so many options for folks to choose from."

  • "for folks looking for a lunch place that embodies (in my opinion) what CA wine country is all about with local farm to table (like literally you can look at the tomatoes being served in the garden) experience, classy but not uppity, friendly, and of course superbly cooked food and ingredients. We happened to go on a day there was a wedding reception later and got to view a split open whole lamb over an open fire being smoked. so cool!!"

  • "Everything was wonderful. The brisket was the special and it was amazingly tender."

  • "This is the perfect place for a quick lunch. Try their delicious honey cheddar biscuits! We got the basil, burrata tomato salad and the beet salad for appetizers. The beet salad was good, but not remarkable. The tomato salad could not have been better. It was truly amazing. I was stuck on the phone changing some reservations and my wife ate almost half before I cut my conversation short to be sure I didn't miss out! Haha! For entrees, we got the potato gnocchi. The gnocchi was great but the ragu it was in was too sweet for our taste, so I'd just give that dish a 6 on a scale of one to ten. If you like sweet main dishes, you would probably love it. We also got the cheeseburger, and both it and the accompanying fries were fantastic"

  • "Farmstead's chic, clean & casual atmosphere makes you hope the food will be as good and it doesn't disappoint: great ambiance, good food, exceptional service."

  • "This was my first time here. It is a homestyle, comfort food place with a gourmet touch. It was very good, but my dish of the gnocchi with beef ragu didn't wow me. There was barely any beef. It is a fun atmosphere and the bar looked fun outside. Although, it has a very loud noise level with the high ceilings. I would recommend it for lunch."

  • "Nearly everything was very good. It's always annoying to end the meal by a mistake. Total was for $103. We told the server we wanted to split the bill (50/50). Our server came back with two bills, each one for $103... I said there was a mistake. Our server didn't say anything as if it was acceptable to make this kind of error and as if she didn't care. We left the place a bit disappointed as the food was really good. No excuse as you expect the staff and the management to be experienced whatever is the restaurant."

  • "This was a fantastic restaurant. Excellent tasting and quality farm to fork food that wasn't overpriced. The ambiance was exquisite. The only complaint I have is that I didn't know about it until now. This restaurant is a must for anyone visiting Napa."

  • "Excelent food and also the envirnomental. What I like the most is the concept of use local growers food and organic produce in theirs farms."

  • "Farmstead gets most of its food from its own operation - the beef, eggs, potatoes, produce (tomatoes were amazing), olive oil, etc. and of course wine. The food is really outstanding, and do try the burger, from cattle raised on the Longmeadow Ranch. So good! The only reason not to give it five stars this time was the flaw with outdoor patio seating. They don't have full coverage for shade between the panels that are supposed to serve as sunblocks, and as time went by we started getting hit directly by sun, which got very uncomfortable. One of us had to move to get out of the sun, and he was just getting overheated. So they need more complete protection in the patio from sun."

  • "Living in this valley, there are many choices for dining out and Farmstead is my new, most favorite place! Food is excellent quality, with a good variety of items to choose from and the kicker: reasonably priced! BONUS: parking in the area is challenging and impossible at the height of tourista season but they do offer complimentary valet parking! I LOVE this place!"

  • "We love everything about Farmstead. The food is amazing, the service is great and I love walking around the grounds after lunch. I highly recommend the cheddar biscuuits and the fig salad. Also, stop at their farm stand and buy yourself some fresh figs to go. Can't wait to return!"

  • "I have dined there numerous times and have always enjoyed it. Very friendly staff, great food, and nice ambience. Not your typical pretentious Napa Valley restaurant. Try it!"

  • "I've just been to Farmstead two times in as many days and I'll never tire of this place. It's my automatic 'go-to' when I've got guests in town and I want to show them the best of what Napa cuisine has to offer without forking over an entire paycheck. I certainly have fave picks, like the scrumptious cheeseburger with egg on top to the grits to the gnocchi with meat-ragu to the pork chop and of course always the bacon Bloody Mary. Having been there several times, I can honestly say there isn't anything I or my guests haven't liked. I prefer to sit outside because the ambience can't be beat. The waitstaff is top notch! They're all attentive to your needs, not just the person who takes your order. I can't say enough good things! A Napa must!"

  • "It was a real treat to enjoy excellent food in a lovely and casual atmosphere. The Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch is rustic and comfortable, offering well prepared meals using farm to fork ingredients. It is also quite reasonable - our meal was under $40 per person with one drink. The staff were especially accommodating and helped us make great choices for our dinner. We were not disappointed in any way. We loved the cheese platter with the house "doctored" almonds and the heirloom tomato and burrata salad. Wwe ordered the NY Strip steak to share and had sides of Mac and Cheese and Vegatables - all delicious. We also needed to have the Cheese Biscuits once we saw them at another table. Fantastic."

  • "Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch is my favorite destination for lunch in the Napa Valley. The food is always sensational with excellent use of local products. I was there recently and tried the gnocchi with ragu. Outstanding! The setting is gorgeous, in a casual fun way and it's a great place to go anytime of the year. Be sure to book ahead. Always busy!"

  • "We were recommended this restaurant by a friend. We got there and were a little worried as the noise outside was loud country rock music - not really my style. But we actually had a table inside and fortunately found the music was for outside dining/bar only. Our server was very friendly, the food was very good - the best Beet/Goats Cheese salad I've had. Good wine list and being from the East coast were surprised that we were allowed to order a second bottle of wine for takeout (we were staying in a hotel with no bar!) Overall i would recommend"

  • "Two of the three of us at dinner loved our food and everything about the evening! The third was a different story...she was being painful and I felt so bad for our waiter and servers, but they were amazingly patient and accommodating! Each and ever person who served us that night went out of their way to try and make her happy and I can't thank them enough. Farmstead is still my go to location when friends and family come to town...they are warm, gracious and I always enjoy my meal!"

  • "Loved everything about this restaurant. A friend recommended it (thank you JZ). Excellent farm to table menu; great wine list; fun casual wine country vibe. Dog friendly in bar area; ate dinner there; had our dog with us."

  • "This was our first time at Farmstead and we look forward to eating there again when we return to Napa. The food was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The ice cream sundae was a decadent ending to a great meal. Only problem was that we ate too much - next time we'll know better."

  • "An experience beyond compare, the ambience is rustic to a t. The food is exquisite, and the service is phenomenal. I've been to The Farmstead a number of times, and each time the experience is better than the last."

  • "This was our second visit to Farmstead. Both times were amazing! The food is so fresh and cooked perfectly. We were all trying each other's plates. The service is outstanding. We will be making a regular habit of dining here!"

  • "We had the best dinner once again. Sat outside with heaters and had the best server and the best food."

  • "This high-energy locavore establishment continues to please. If we dine first with our eyes, the designers of Farmstead certainly got it right: old farm machinery, antique lights, a soaring barn-like structure and list of flowers create a stunning yet somehow comfortable ambience. Since it's usually very busy, the servers move at a pretty fast pace, but I've never felt rushed. The menu sources many ingredients from the Longmeadow Ranch property itself, many others from high-quality area farms. Dishes tend toward the creative and have inevitably been carefully prepared; not under-or-overseasoned and never overcooked. Grilled artichokes and the bricked chicken as well as beautiful salmon pleased on this visit. Very good wine list, too."

  • "This restaurant was on my friend's "50 Before 50" list, so I took her there for lunch on her 49th b-day. Beautiful spot - lovely indoor and outdoor dining. Food was excellent, with the Farmstead-grown figs and peaches especially notable. The filet special was perfect. The least interesting thing we tried was the ribs - good, not great. Otherwise, worth the (high) price - 2 starters and 2 entrees, no alcohol - $104. Very nice experience with attentive staff. The only thing that would have made it better would have been an outstanding gluten free dessert (attention chefs - sorbets and ice creams are a cop-out!) Did not disappoint, I'll be back."

  • "Out of all the restaurants we dined at in the valley this week, this was one of our favorites. The fresh ingredients and simple flavors were much better than the food we had at those over hyped big name places! My husband enjoyed his lamb sliders and I loved my heirloom tomatoes with burrata, pesto and purple basil. We also had a yummy arugula salad with fresh figs, blue cheese, almonds that was fabulous as well. Had to try the cheddar biscuits of course too- fabulous!"

  • "We had dinner at the restaurant on Monday evening, August 20. I ordered wine which the server clearly forgot. When I asked a second time about it, it came with no apologies. Once our meals arrived, nobody asked about the meal. We had to wait at the end of the meal for anyone to check to see if we wanted dessert or coffee. Very poor service for the price paid. We went to Market the evening before and I would definitely recommend anyone interested in dinner in St. Helena to go to Market and not to Farmstead."

  • "service & vibe was excellent. the starters & apps were as well. The gnocchi was not good. Maybe b/c it was monday. I loved the music & the attire of the staff. I cannot wait to return."

  • "Went there for dinner. Recommend: BBQ oysters, steak tar tar, St. Louis BBQ ribs, & pork chops Skip: cheddar biscuit or use your yelp check-in for a free order as you want to save your appetite for the main course The artichoke was average because it was kind of old thus not much meat on them. Otherwise, I typically love smoked/grilled artichokes. Like the farm to table concept. They have their own ranch where the beef comes from for their burgers & steak tar tar The food tastes great, but not blow your mind. I think that if you are in good company and relaxed, you'll enjoy the food"
