We bought my sister here to celebrate her birthday. Everything was great. The food was excellent, the service was superb, and the atmosphere was fabulous. The only issue, which was minor, was the mistake in dessert changes. It was still a great experience and we will definitely come back again.

A friend and I went for brunch and were very excited to go because of all the great things we had heard from friends. We arrived and sat at the bar because we were early and were seated at our table about 30 minutes later. The food was great and our waitress was nice however, some of the rest of the staff seemed irked when we asked for simple things. We asked the hostess for spoons (we didn't have any at our table), she acted annoyed at our request, and then never gave them to us. We asked another serve and same thing - they never arrived. Finally, we asked our waitress and she brought us some. Later we asked a server for sushi - it never arrived. Thank goodness the food was so good, otherwise I don't think I'd go back.

a bit too chaotic for my tastes. they promise make to order egg scrambles but instead have overcooked and dried out eggs on buffet. all the while staff is trying to cook large pans of eggs on small buffet burners. major difference from the advertized eggs to order.

I consider myself to be a huge foodie - I love exploring new restaurants and consider myself to have relatively high expectations for food. This restaurant definitely lived up to those expectation! Everything was delicious - we ordered pretzels and salad for the table, then I had salmon, then we shared beignets for dessert. All excellent! The restaurant was a bit noisy, but that wouldn't stop me from going back!

I love sitting at the bar, because yours needs are met. In the past when I ordered a margarita at a table it came in a short glass. I asked for a tall glass with salt, and the waitress came back and told me they could only serve it in a short glass, really! This time I asked for my mimosa on ice in a wine glass, and I saw the waiter get the fluted champagne glass with the mimosa, take it to the bar, and then went back to the service bar and put ice in the glass. Really, do you realize how long that took. When asked for, things like ice for water, it took forever, even to get a fork the waiter had to go all the way to the other side of the restaurant. The food as always was great, but I will sit at the bar from now on!

The food was delicious. I will definitely be back to have the shrimp scampi gnocchi again. My only complaint would be that we waited 30 minutes for our table, even though we had a reservation. Waiting put us in a bit of a bad mood because we were hungry and the hostesses were a little rude. Other than that we had an excellent experience!

We were seated 15 min before our server came to the table. Ordered a glass of wine and two sandwiches. Another 15 min until the wine came; 35 min after we sat down the sandwiches came. Farmer's Daughter sandwich -- always good. Service, not so much.

Wanted to try this place, being that a few people mentioned I needed to go. Went for dinner with a party of 7, It's pretty loud in the restaurant, they have great drinks, food was good, menu can be little overwhelming. Nice view I would imagine during the day, it's right on the water. Service was just ok, we didn't see our server for long periods of time. He also forgot one of the entrees so the person we were with sat without his meal until the time we were almost done with ours (they did take it off the check, but...) Overall it was a good experience but I wouldn't go back, there's so many other places I want to try in DC.

the moment we walked in and surveyed the food on tables, we knew we were in for a treat. our party of five including one infant was treated royally after only a brief wait. our server was extremely friendly and very accommodating. we ordered peel and eat spicy shrimp and calamari for our appetizers. bot were delicious. I ordered the crab salad, my spouse ordered the farmhouse chicken. my aunt ordered the salmon and my sister ordered the fish and chips. no one was disappointed with their selection. we look forward to coming back to try the other dishes on the ample menu.

Went to brunch recently at Farmers Fishers Bakers and was completely satisfied. Food was delicious and varied, from French Toast with bananas foster to fried chicken. Our waitress was excellent, refilling my coffee regularly. Also warm biscuits and cinnamon rolls are brought to every table - a nice start to a buffet brunch. I was worried such a large popular place would be loud, but the noise diffuses really well; I did not find it loud at all. Beautiful view and location on the Potomac.

Despite having a reservation through Open Table, my party was never seated that night. We arrived on time and were told there was a slight back up. No problem, we told the hostess we could be found at the end of the bar. 15 and 30 minutes later, I came back twice to get an update and was assured that she knew exactly where we were and would come get us as soon as our table was ready. An hour later, my mother and I decided to just eat at the bar. I went to let the hostess know and she claimed that they couldn't find us. It was incredibly infuriating. Waiting an hour while having already made a reservation was bad enough, but to never actually be seated ruined the entire experience for me.

Great food, fun atmosphere, one of the better restaurants in the Georgetown/DC. You have to reserve a table way in advance if you are trying for a Friday night. We went on Columbus holiday which was a Monday and they had the brunch available. My mate was so surprised at the the whole set up and just the complete ambiance of the whole restaurant. I was looking for something different and romantic to do on a gloomy rainy day and this place Fit the bill perfectly. The food was wonderful, fresh and thoughtfully made. My mate tried everything, from the omelets to the honey pot fried chicken, to the salad, he had a wonderful time as did I . Please get the French toast too ! They put a wonderful spin on that and it will leave you wanting more! Too many treats to choose from. Absolutely a fantastic restaurant.
