  • "We are never disappointed with our meal. We have been here for dinner many times. This was the second year in a row we had Easter brunch and it was outstanding!! Love the nice touch of passing food on trays as well. Can't wait to go back. "

  • "I just went to FFB for the first time this past weekend and couldn't have been more pleased. Good food, good atmosphere, kid friendly and excellent service. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. "

  • "Made a reservation through Open Table for Easter Sunday brunch for six. Got a call from staff two days before to confirm reservation or any changes. On Easter Sunday we were seated almost immediately and our waitperson took orders for any water, juice and the like, as well as gave us info on routines and various items we could special order. All of the food, no matter what, was outstanding and unlimited. Every staff person was attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful with any request. Best of all, the price for a brunch of this caliber was more than reasonable. Also, I was able to park my car in a garage directly under the restaurant. Would recommend this brunch without hesitation."

  • "The brunch buffet is fantastic. I didn't really enjoy sitting in the scorching sun, but the food, service, and atmosphere were really good. I'll be back for more. I have some unfinished business with that brunch! - Andrew"

  • "Farmers, Fishers, Bakers -- I attended for Easter Brunch. I can't articulate how PHENOMENAL the food was. Exquisite food is served buffet style, and there are also servers bringing food table-to-table (items such as sushi, eggs florentine, shrimp). It was fantastic, and I highly recommend making a reservation for brunch next year. It is pretty noisy inside, and as it was Easter Brunch there was a fair number of children running around. That wasn't enough to take away from the fantastic food and drink. The ONLY complaint is that there is a 5K of 10K race that happens that week. To support the race, there is a tent assembled over the fountain area. This complete obstructs ANY view of the Potomac :-( "

  • "We arrived 20 minutes before our reservation, we were seated 7 mins after our reservation time. We missed the time for brunch but the menu selection was extensive. Overall our food selections were superb. We will return for brunch next time. "

  • "Given this was Easter Sunday brunch - the setting was less than ideal to serve food at its best. Service was excellent with much effort to accommodate requests. The "specials" to arrive at table were limited. Replenishing food was less than easy given the high volume of guests. Cinnamon rolls, crab dip, omeletts, and French toast were memorable. A restaurant to return on a less than busy day. "

  • "Easily one of the very best brunches I have been to. Lots of choices, and everything is delicious. In addition to the numerous buffet items, they bring other choices directly to your table, such as hot cinnamon rolls, hot pizza, fried shrimp and sushi, and eggs benedict. Be sure to make a reservation, as the place is always busy for brunch."

  • "Despite rave reviews, I found this restaurant to be wanting. My party of five wait for an hour despite having reservations. The hostesses were annoyed when I asked how long the wait was and when I asked if we may get water while waiting in the crowded entry-way. The food was good but somewhat dry and cold. Perhaps it was an off day. Nevertheless, I do not intend on returning. "

  • "This restaurant is truly amazing. From the decor, excellent service and delicious food; makes you want to return immediately. Definitely go for brunch; it is truly an awesome experience. Great omelets too! "

  • "This place never disappoints! I had only been for dinner (which is delish) but the brunch was delightful. The assortment of selection and overall freshness could not be beat. The kale salad is always a hit but but the cinnamon roles brought to the table were absolutely amazing! Just make sure you come hungry!"

  • "The waiter checked on us way too many times, we did not feel welcomed into the restaurant but as if they were trying to kick us out. The food was also a let down. I got the mussel pit white wine/garlic which lacked a lot of seasoning. The menu needs to be re-done as it is hard to navigate without descriptions. I had heard amazing things about this place but was truly disappointed. The Maryland crab dip barely had any crab! The house made sodas were not that bad, but not something I'd go back for. The pretzels were overly salted. Overall, I will not be coming back. This place is extremely overrated. All I want is some good food! Is that too much to ask for?? "

  • "We are from out of town and were really looking forward to our visit. Atmosphere was fun. We arrived having been out and about all day, so were really looking forward to a drink. We ordered a jug of beer to share, they let us try a sample ( which was good) but then didn't deliver it until one minute before our mains so we couldn't enjoy it. Other issue was getting the "fried" seafood. There was almost no description on food and we imagined ( not bring from the us) fried meant pan fried ..... Not breaded and deep fried. The issue is probably ours for not asking but it meant half our table was disappointed with what they got. Jambalaya and hummingbird cake were delicious. "

  • "I ordered the jambalaya and it was a piece of almost sweet fried chicken they put on top of rice and couple of steamed shrimps. It wasn't very good at all and not really a jambalaya (more like a couple of things they took from other items in the menu and put together). I really liked this place when it started because of the great vibe and ambience, and i really like Founding Farmers, but took me two or three visits to realize food is not great. "

  • "Everything was fine, except we had to wait 30 minutes for our table even with the reservation. The front of the house seemed very chaotic, and seating was definitely an issue."

  • "Food is good and inexpensive. Drinks are v good. Servers/hostesses are a deal killer. Waiting up to 1.5hours for a table when you have a res is absurd - last night they ejected a party from our table! Bartenders are nice guys. Make great drinks and are sympathetic to the diner's cause. Transfer to the table and situation radically changes, drinks ordered from the table take forever, water glasses stay empty for 10 minutes at a time and if you loose your silverware, best to hunt it down from another table. The servers are nice and informative but there is a major disconnect between them, the bar and the kitchen. Its really too bad, I guess the tourists don't know any better but for similar inexpensive price points you can do much better."

  • "Held a team dinner here this week (6 people) . Food was great, people had a wide range of entrees - from the rib eye to pizza. Service was slow so that is an area for improvement. While the menu style is interesting and fun, it lacks detail that can cause problems. For example, one of the pizza was listed a pizza with a salad on top. It looked like a great option for the vegetarian in our party. However, when it arrived, there was bacon on it, not listed anywhere on the menu!. In addition, the Brussels sprouts salad lists some ingredients but not others - it included raw onion, which was a problem for another member of our party. Note that this restaurant is beyond energetic-it is loud! so it is not the best place for conversation. "

  • "I made reservations for my boyfriend's 21st birthday at the restaurant and we were seated right away with no wait time. Once we sat down someone greeted us right away and we told them that today was his birthday and the lady made a notation of it. Once our server came she went over the menu since we had no clue what to select. She even gave my boyfriends a glass of wine for free! I ended up getting the lemonade white fish and he got the skirt steak with a salad. The food was really tasty, especially the corn that came with my meal. All In all I will be returning to the restaurant and recommending it to others. Our server was great I wish I could remember her name so she could get some type of recognition."

  • "I had the white wine and garlic mussel pot and it was very delicious. It would have been nice with a side dish of some sort, but nonetheless, I enjoyed the plate. There's a good cocktail menu as well as beer and wine. Everyone at the table was very satisfied with their meals."

  • "Interesting varied menu. Food did not dissapoint. We will definitley return to try some other items. We were there late afternoon and the diners kept coming. A sign of a great restaurant for sure. The Farmes Fishers and Bakers cookbook is on my list of must have books. Recipes looked quite interesting."

  • "We loved our meal and were appreciative of the fact that the competent staff was able to handle to extremely busy entry way. The beautiful day brought several hundred to the waterfront that night and we were glad we had a reservation. The young staff is charming!"

  • "We tried this Farmers, Fishers, Bakers while in DC area for the Cherry Blossom festival. It was a great end to a great day. A very varied menu and good beer and wine list. The service was good, even though we had 9PM reservations. the place was packed and hoppin' and we all really enjoyed our food. I would not hesitate to eat hear again."

  • "We went to brunch for my Birthday. Our Open Table reservations worked perfectly-seated within about 10 minutes. Had a great time there & would happily reccommend it. The creativity was fun. We were very impressed with both variety & quality of the offerings. I'm from Florida, but that Key lime pie was some of the best I've had! I liked having small plates for desserts to try a few to try. Fried chicken crispy, not greasy. Hot artichoke dip delicious . In all a great experience!"

  • "We went to Farmers Fishers Bakers on a "cherry blossom" weekend, so it was far more crowded and noisy than usual. That made it quite loud with slow service. However, the food was still reasonably good. So, on a normal weekend, it is probably a great spot, especially if you can sit outside overlooking the water."

  • "Loved the menu here -- it was a surprise dinner, so I knew this menu would appease whatever appetite my boyfriend had. Fish, meats, sandwiches, salads, plenty to choose from. Service was great, and wine list was reasonable. My scallops were delicious (I only wish I had more than four on my plate!) Loved that it's on the Georgetown Waterfront, so that we could take a walk and get drinks at an outdoor bar after."

  • "Great for brunch on Saturday & Sunday. Brunch runs until 3 p.m. Nice outdoor area. A bit more interesting & healthy than some of the boring traditional brunches but plenty of not so healthy items like the delicious bananas foster French toast so something for all tastes."

  • "I've been here a few times and the food is always great, but what was really awesome this time around was our server. I wish I could remember her name, because she was fantastic. She explained in great detail (but not too much) some of her favorite dishes and was just super friendly overall. She was quick, but not pushy, in terms of taking our order and getting us the check, as well."

  • "My friends and I actually love Farmers Fishers Bakers (and Founding Farmers). We're there almost every weekend, sometimes twice, either for dinner or a simple appetizer and drink at the bar. The last 2 weekends we've went for dinner and been seated in the exact same booth in the corner under the yellow goat. We've had a new waitress both times and it was obvious. If they had been trained, the training certainly didn't stick. On this particular visit, we sat there for 15 minutes before the waitress even stopped by. We ordered drinks, water (had to ask), and an appetizer. She didn't take our food order until we were almost through with appetizers and never asked if we wanted refills; I'd run out of water and my drink before the food arrived."
