  • "Service was good and the atmosphere was perfect for us. My wife loves organic non gmo food and this was perfect for her."

  • "my pomegranate lamb stew was good. the dark beer on tap was so foamy that it took several minutes to settle and then several more minutes for the busy server to bring it. the complimentary roasted eggplant with goat cheese was a nice touch, except they ran out of goat cheese. the server was very nice, but although there were a lot of servers running around, the service was slow and a bit inattentive. the best thing was the "mini" dessert: a delicious few bites of chocolate mousse. sure, i'm local, so i'd go back at some point. but, i'm in no rush...."

  • "Apps plates on the table when entrees arrived. No water refills. No bread when requested. The food was ok but at $172 for 4 (included a $40 bottle of wine) this is a poor value."

  • "So I ended up eating here three times this past week and could never understand how this place was not packed to the gills with an hour wait or longer! The food was simply amazing, the fresh ingredients were delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I ended up bringing a group of 12 here for dinner one night since the meal was so wonderful, and everyone had a delightful time."

  • "Warm open setting...food for everyone...whether dietary restrictions or simple life choice... offerings are broad in scope (Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten free, Non-Dairy, Non GMO) or not....everything is delicious"

  • "Very Kid friendly 3 families with young ones were there while we there. Our appetizer was good but my main course was not good."

  • "It was extremely noisy .... Food was ok but based on some reviews I read, I expected better."

  • "Met some friends who were in LA for the weekend. The atmosphere was nice as we had a lot of catching up to do we were able to talk comfortably and it was n't so crowded our conversation and antics ruined anyone else's evening. A good find.... Thanks"

  • "If you have any food allergies and want to rely on a restaurant to meet your needs...come here. You feel safe and "heard" by these chefs and servers! You do not realize how important this is unless you have a problem. We were so excited that there is a restaurant that we can count on to serve fantastic and healthy foods."

  • "Glad we were on the covered patio. The inside seating was cold (the front door was open) and the tables were too close together for us. All our 4 main dishes were excellent! Thanks for going to the extra effort for gluten free, organic and healthy food. Wine by the glass was excellent and slightly generous. Kati was an energetic waitress and a delight to work with. We've eaten there a few times when we come to LAX or El Segundo - and it's always a treat. We recommend the restaurant."

  • "We were staying at LAX for an early flight out the next day and discovered this GMO free, organic sustainable Urban Country food! They serve a wide range of foods including vegan and vegetarian, but they have beautiful meats as well. The ambiance is similar to a chef owned "French" restaurant one might find tucked in between shops on a Paris street. My husband and I both had lamb. He had the "Urban" and I had the "Country," Mine was accompanied by a zesty stew of veggies and Balsamic rice, while his was smothered in a heavenly sauce with pomegranates. Both had local grilled veggies. His only slightly "beat" mine as the better offering. We ordered organic wine which was lovely. If we lived in LA, we'd be there often!"

  • "Described as urban country food, the choices are diverse and delicious. My favorites are the walnut-pomegranate stew and the pumpkin ravioli. And the rice is superb. I love that they use non-GMO, organic and local ingredients. Definitely my favorite restaurant in El Segundo!!"

  • "Waited an hour for our food. Menu was special three courses, food was obviously sitting in back - sides weren't warm, filet mignon was barely warm and charred overcooked, expensive, served food on metal plates. Liked fact of healthy choices in foods."

  • "but slow service. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or or unorganized. We had tickets to see a show at 8 and I am glad that we arrived at 5:30 because it took forever to get served everything. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again because the food was great!"

  • "We've been here several times, and the food is always good. And, you can taste the freshness. The last time we were, though, the service wasn't very good (as a former waitress, I may be a little picky about this). It took a long time to take our order, they didn't bring the bread basket out until they were serving the main entrees, and they forgot to bring my husband's salad (he had ordered a 3 course meal) until we mentioned it when they brought out his entrée, which happened to be the wrong entrée. However, since it looked good, he decided not to say anything and just ate. Having said all that, the food was good, and we loved their chocolate chip cookies. Will assume that the poor service was a fluke."

  • "Staff at the annual physical place recommended Farm Stand for lunch a few years ago. Ever since then, any time I go to LAX make sure to stop here again to eat. Great food with a Persian flair. This time was a pre-concert dinner. Just 7miles from the Forum. The pomegrante lamp stew was fabulous. Many more interesting dishes to try."

  • "The food was good but the service was not. Our waitress was clearly overloaded, although she had time to chat with coworkers. Meal, appetizer, and bread all came out together. The man who I think is the owner had no problem interrupting our meal on multiple occasions to give is advertisements or interject his opinion."

  • "Never would have known that this cute little restaurant existed if it werent for this site. The food was delicious and served fairly quickly. The ambience for valentines day was quaint. My date was super enamoured with the fact it had gluten free options! So she will be spreading the word to her friends in the anti-gluten world. They had a lot of local grown and produced foods, like the lemonades, wines, beer, fruits and veggies. A great little find! We will definitely be coming back!"

  • "Food for every type of eater. From gluten free, to carnivore, and vegatarian. My husband had the lamb shank dip, and raved about it!!!! Def going back!"
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "I ordered the pumpkin ravioli. It came green... green like St. Patrick's Day, but it was Valentine's Day! I asked about the color and the waitress said it was from the basil... what? My husband ordered linguini something or other, and it came with spaghetti noodles (too thick for linguini noodles). The food was okay, but not worth a second shot. The restaurant was very crowded which usually means the food is good. Perhaps it usually is. Only plus for us was that it was near LAX where we needed to be for a morning flight."

  • "Went online looking for place near LAX to meet family for lunch on a Sunday. This was a great surprise. Excellent food choices. All different and every member in our party of 5 had something different and totally enjoyed. Will be going back in near future just to try something else. Will try dinner next time."

  • "Our family is a motley crew of carnivores, vegans and paleos and it's often hard to find a place where we all truly enjoy the menu choices. The Farm Stand (on a Sunday evening) was great! There were four vegan entrees that were excellent. The fish and meat pasta dishes we ordered were likewise very tasty. They even had a delicious vegan ice cream! Our server was quite friendly and we felt free to linger and talk at the end. Nice casual atmosphere. We'll be back!"

  • "A neat spot close enough to LAX. This place has local foodstuffs that are prepared perfectly. It did quickly fill up, I can't blame them with a great draft beer selection and quality menu items all around this is a place that will surely go far !"

  • "Enjoyed our dinner at Farm Stand. They were short handed for servers, so the delivery man, Edgar, filled in to wait on us. He was terrific! Attentive, personable and accommodating. Menu items are well priced - you get "clean" food, interesting flavor combinations and overall, a good value."

  • "We tasted much of the extensive menu, as three friends and I each ordered a starter, main, and dessert. Everything was fantastic, freshly prepared, and served in generous portions."

  • "Wanted decent food before dropping friend at LAX. It's less than 10 minutes. Excellent lamb shanks and salmon. Enjoyed it enough that went back for dessert after the drop. Really service is perfectly solid except they missed me joining the table late, on a quiet night, and didn't come for a drink order. 85 mins in rush hour traffic - you want your drink!! This was my second visit, planning on more."

  • "We had a large group (12) included 4 kids. Very friendly service considering the energy of our group. It is one of the few places open on a Sunday in El Segundo. Very generous portions. The most varied Kid's Menu I have seen. Also great for lunch."

  • "We love Farm Stand for special occasions as well as everyday dining. When friends or family visit us, Farm Stand is always their first choice for dining. We've been going there for several years now and every time we've gone there, the food and the service has been excellent. I have, and would continue to recommend it to everyone."

  • "Farm stand has an excellent menu and has real promise. The food is good but for me the flavors just don't pop. I ordered the osso buco and it was perfectly cooked but frankly the flavors were a bit bland for me. Don't get me wrong, this is a good restaurant but for the price point I would like to have a bit more taste. I will probably go back in six months and try again. Cool vibe. Good service."

  • "Despite a very quiet afternoon, the service and food were slow. Melted Brie was great, but you can't go wrong with Brie. Southwestern salad was boring and limp. Most of the restaurant was empty, my friend and I were surrounded by empty tables , but were asked to leave so they could prep for a large party. Poor hospitality, mediocre food and I will never return."

  • "We're from an urban area so the "Urban Country food" label was intriguing. We selected Farm Stand for our New Year's Eve dinner for 2 reasons: high reviews + location/availability - key for us since we were flying home to NJ in the AM & no longer had our rental car + NYE is a busy night at restaurants. We ate Toasted Bruschetta, Linguini Bolognese & BBQ Mahi-Mahi (night's special). We drank the 2012 Casarena Malbec. Dessert was Granny Smith Apple Crisp + Tiramisu mini. Bread & dessert was VERY tasty but everything else - not so much. Presentation was VERY colorful, service was VERY good, but noise level was MUCH too loud!! We liked the fact that they care about the quality of the food they serve, but disappointed we live too far away."

  • "Hard to figure out exactly what to write about Farm Stand. Seems like they try but for us the meals always fall short. I had the chicken fettuccine alfredo. The first bite was encouraging but then the flavor diminished from there - chicken was overcooked and a bit hard to chew, the pasta was cooked well and alfredo was good when warm but was a bit glazed over when served (may have sat while waiting for the other meals for our table. One person had the salmon and enjoyed it as well as the special request to change the sides. The food was adequate but somehow I always expect more from this place and always seem to leave disappointed. They do have an eclectic menu so I believe many will enjoy, I hope your experience is better than ours."

  • "My teenaged children and I found this restaurant on Open Table. What a treat! The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the pumpkin ravioli and the urban lamb shank. We will definitely return on our next trip to LA."

  • "Until I went to this restaurant, I didn't realize El Segundo had a downtown or a main street. This was a great find close to LAX. The food was very good and not the boring standard fare. When we went it was a weekday night so it was quiet. They have a nice side room that is good for a small-medium size group of 8-20. The decor is art-y but makes for interesting viewing and conversation. Definitely not a restaurant that one would expect to find in El Segundo but well worth the trek to check out."

  • "We were meeting near the airport before my nephew's flight. VERY CONVENIENT for that. We all enjoyed our meals. I had stuffed bell peppers - they had a Mediterranean flavor and were very filling and delicious. My nephew is a vegetarian and my son is a complete carnivore. There was something for everyone."

  • "Went there after arriving at LAX based on reviews. My wife ordered the filet mignon which came out overcooked and grey. And by grey I mean the color of the meat not just that it was "well done." They were apologetic and took it off the bill and offered to send us a gift certificate to prove they could do better. Never showed up. I don't think this represents this restaurant in general, but in our case it was nothing short of a mess."

  • "Strike 1 - Host didn't bring the last party arriving to our reserved table - rather we found at another table after waiting 15 minutes. Strike 2 - the meals listed as gluten-free on the menu aren't all gluten free! Really? Geez, if the meal is listed as GF, why would we have to substitute the starch option with brown rice? Strike 3 - up-charged for the brown rice substitution that we HAD to get for the GF listed meal to indeed be GF Strike 4 - several basic menu items were unavailable… hummus, brown rice (that we were uncharged for) Too bad, I was excited about a place that supported healthy food."
