Service was excellent, great positive attitude from waiters at brunch. Cocktails were quite good, at minimum $15 each of course they should be. Indoor seating was odd, each chair had a pillow that was needed to sit comfortably but the pillow kept slipping out through seat opening in the chairs. The food was surprisingly disappointing. There are many choices so perhaps we were unlucky in our choices? Ribeye was very fatty, cold and not served in any way that 4 people could really share without making a huge mess. Eggs in purgatory - - an interesting idea but really seemed to be eggs served in an "okay" pasta sauce with hunks of not great sausage; supposed to be served with focaccia which we had to ask for several times and seemed to be burnt toast when finally arrived. Lobster roll was average, waffle was good. Then the bill... for 4 people we were at $400+, 2 cocktails for a few people and coffee drinks added up! Sorry, I rarely write a negative review but for that cost, this should have blown us away on food.

I had one glass of wine with the lasagna bolognese. Very tasty. I had a tiramisu with a summer twist to it with cherries and Carmel corn. It was delicious! Service was excellent! Nice for first time in Napa!

As a general note, we all came away feeling like we had bad bad food prepared with no care. Our server was charming, but a bit talkie. Specifically, only one of our dishes could be called good and that was the side of brussels sprouts. Caesar was meh. Caprese used unripe tomatoes Pizza was terrible. Tasted like the crust was par cooked and held. It had the consistency of cardboard. The sauce was overly thick and the cheese was both low quality and unmelted. To enhance this experience, it arrived at the table cold. Chicken (diavolo) consisted of 2 small, skin on breasts (perhaps), charred and garnished with a charred lemon slice nestled in a broken pan reduction. Dry, disappointing. Also served room temp. Lasagna was not cooked through. Bad cheese, unmelted, unseasoned. Sat in the pass. Eggplant parm meh. Better off getting it at your local joint. Lobster risotto is a must pass at this establishment. In addition to its tepid arrival, lobster was cooked to death (including the small claw arm pieces mixed into the risotto). Poorly seasoned, overcooked rice set in a swamp of bright yellow, sickly sweet corn pudding. $450, we chose not to stay for dessert.

Made a reservation for Father’s Day. We were very excited to try this place and we were extremely disappointed with the service. We went for Sunday Brunch and waited extremely long for our food while other parties who came after us received their food. Our server failed to check in on us and I had to flag several staff down for an update. Our server stated the delay was due to the kitchen having to refire our lobster roll because of our request for no pork but we never made such a request. We continued to wait and watch as other tables received their food and we did not even receive one out of the four we ordered. After waiting over an hour for our food and seeing others who arrived after us continue to get dishes that we also ordered we decided to just leave. Terrible experience especially for a Father’s Day celebration. Extremely disappointing. We ended up going to Gott’s roadside and had a wonderful lunch.

We had a Sunday brunch there. Got to choose 4 from several options. The lobster rolls, shrimp polenta and French toast were our favorite. Great atmosphere, excellent food and service.

We had high expectations given reviews and location. We shared a Caesar salad which was not very good. But the worst was the Petrale Sole. The fish was tasteless. The sauce was watery. It was extremely disappointing. There’s nothing good I can say about the dish. Maybe other dishes are ok, but two out of two is bad is enough for us to never go back. Pity, because we are staying at the resort and the restaurant is convenient..

We stayed at Carneros Resort and had dinner at Farm, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The ambience was beautiful—elegant and thoughtfully decorated. My fiancé ordered the margarita pizza, which was delicious. The thin crust allowed the sauce to really shine through. I had the Fusilli Arrabbiata—the flavors were there, but the noodles were a bit too chewy, which threw off the texture for me. The cocktails were well-crafted, and our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the evening. While my entrée wasn’t a favorite, I’d definitely come back to try something else. The setting and service make it worth another visit.

From a big picture view...what is going on with this restaurant? It's such a beautiful setting. The real question is why doesn't the food quality match the beauty of this resort. It feels like the entire task of being there and dining is just awkward. The menu is a strange fit. The menu items are maybe over-engineered. Pizzas are indeed different but certainly not good...only edible. The Caesar salad had no taste, the lobster risotto was so bizarre to look at, the pollo diavola was very disappointing being a skin-on boneless breast with plenty of chewy fat and gristle making up a decent portion of what was on the plate and a thick sweet sauce predominantly non-descript in taste. The menu described the chicken as with meyer lemon & Carneros bay leaf jus charred lemon. Bread is a $15 option and is 6 slices of sourdough with a small offering of flavored olive oil and balsamic. The front of house feels mismanaged. There are a handful of guys in suits that look and stand around but not sure what role they play. The ratio of employees to customers in seats dining feels like you should never have to ask for a thing especially water and yet we had to ask at least twice. We had dinner in the past month at Bistro Don Giovanni and the experience was a 10 in every category, the Farm was a 1. We've eaten at Farm 3 times in the past year. It has slipped sharply on this visit. To summarize the experience I can only say it was odd, strange, disheveled, confused and above all else the food was of poor vision, ingredients, execution and especially taste. I wish I had the 3 hours back.

Our reservation on a Tuesday was for 5:30 PM. The restaurant areas are huge and there were practically no other people there. It was very strange. Perhaps a later reservation would’ve made the ambience more inviting. The food was nothing special. My marguerita pizza was Lacking in flavor. A pasta dish was bland and my husband didn’t like the chicken either. I’d love to try it one more time and see if we can get better food.

Great service. Don’t order the tomahawk steak, it was not worth it! But everything else was good!
