"Came here for a birthday dinner for my mother, there are only a few decent restaurants in the area. Our wait staff was excellent, though I can only comment on the dishes that I had. 2 of 3 dishes were good, but not great.Liked the risotto, the paradelle pasta was way way to salty... how could you add salt when the pancetta is salty already, this was a major dis. The stuff organic chicken was ok, I think the smaller plates are better, but then again I'm thinking they need to rethink their menu and be a little more creative. I forgot to mention the beet salad was good. I would not go there again since I think I could have enjoyed a much better meal at a better price someplace else. It's ok if that is what you are up for."

"The food portions were great and service was excellent. We did the Chef's tasting and was a great deal if you like to try a little bit of everything from the menu. A will do again."

"The Italian Wine Dinner was very enjoyable. The food, as always at The Farm, was delightful and well-paired with the wine. The Primitivo seemed in very short supply however. Wilson, the sommelier, could have been better used in giving information about the wine than as a server - as the importer was not terribly knowledgable. More wait staff would have helped, as service was very rushed. Also, the advertised hors d'oeuvres were not served. There was, however, plenty of food. We would probably not attend another "wine dinner" - but we would attend a "winemaker's dinner." Thank you, The Farm, however for a nice evening."

"We attended a wine dinner. The food and wine were great, but there were some issues. A large piece of Farm-made prosciutto was served in a small deep bowl with a dressed salad. It was too tough to cut with a regular knife and no steak knife was provided so I had to use my bare hands to tear it into bite-sized pieces. Not nice. None of the small bowl dishes were served with plates under them. You had to use the bread plate as the assembly point and resting spot for utentsils between bites. Awkward. Utensils were not replaced with each course. Only one red wine glass was provided for three red tastings. They just poured over any remaining wine in the glass. Front door left open - outside temp 50 degrees. Cold, drafty and noisy."

"We love the Farm and it has become our special occasion favorite. We took some friends there for a birthday dinner (it was their first time at the Farm). Dinner was amazing! I had the duck breast and my husband had the venison. The duck was prepared perfectly and the skin was nice and crispy. His venison was so tender, his knife cut through it like butter. For me, it was the best meal I have had at this restaurant yet! Unfortunately, the service was less than stellar. Our server did not ask us if we wanted any drinks or small plates, he just began asking what we would like for dinner. We ordered beer and wine, but when we were finished he did not ask if we would like more drinks. He seemed very distracted."
